Canadian Tire Show June 6th

Right after I hatched the idea for this blog, really the day after, my girlfriend and I happened to see this show going on after dinner. It was just winding down when we showed up so I had to be fairly quick with the photos but I did manage to catch some pretty nice looking whips as the rolled out.

The cars

Ford Low boy
This 32, maybe 33 Ford Low Boy is definitely sitting era correct
These 50s era Chevy's are classic Two Lane Black Top anyone?

Another Blue 50s era Chevy, this one is actually done up a little nastier looking than the first, check out the wheels hiding in the tubs out back.

To be honest I am having a hard time identifying this one, I am going to guess an old Mercury done up bomb style. The spot lights are a nice touch

The subtle raked stance on this one works wonders.

The Meat Eaters

I have decided to call cars hiding some big meaty tires out back meat eaters, this fits the bill

And so does this. The Driver let the clutch out a little fast on this leaving and the tires let out a loud sqawk to let him know they were up to the task.

The Trucks

Though clearly unfinished you can't knock the stance or wheel and tire setup on this 52ish Chevy.

Though I would have liked to see some more period correct wheels on this 50s era Ford it still comes off very clean.

The oddballs

By the looks of it sitting on stock suspension but what is it?

I also have no idea what this little wonder is. It looks like it could be a handful if it had some get up and go.

The Low Low

In a word, beautiful, in another gangster.

  1. That red convertible is an old Datsun 2000 Roadster. Nice find!

Oh and I will be using the term Meat Eaters as well from now on.
