Theme Tuesdays: Eurokracy 2014 Engine Bays

1

I’m not sure what it is about the European car community, but they really seem to have the swapped, tucked, shaved, and polished engine bay game on lock.

It was a real treat to walk around Eurorkracy 2014 and see more than a cold air intake, fender washers, and colored wire loom sitting between the strut towers.

Each bay somehow managed to out do the last and instantly the subject of this week’s Theme Tuesday became clear as day.

This is actually the second Audi 1.8t  powered e30 I’ve seen (the first was at H20) and I really didn’t think I’d ever seen another

This e30 kept it all in the family with that looks to be an S50 (E36 m3) swap

The exterior of this MK2 was so understated that I actually didn’t expect the engine bay to be so clean

I’m always a bit of a sucker for a clean Scirocco simply because it’s a car I never see on the road anymore

This VR6T swapped Rabbit was one of my favorite cars of the entire event

Black and chrome were the only colors found in the expertly shaved engine bay

Which worked really well with the equally subdued and well executed exterior

Lots more coverage from Eurokracy 2014 to come this week, stay tuned.
