There are a few builds out in California and perhaps couple more in Florida but now Arizona as a boso build to call their own.

The owner of this B2200, who is a member of the Alabama Racing Scene forums, doesn’t really seem to be taking this build too seriously but at the same time is taking it pretty serious.

Maybe the best way to describe it is something that started as a joke but began to evolve into something much more.

The owner also has an STI, a Fiat, and a Triumph so I don’t think he is ultimately too worried how this thing turns out.

The most obvious update this week would be the redesign of the site but in addition to that I have already been alerted to 4 shows for 2012, a couple of which I might have some part in, details as the begin to materialize.

Also I guess the groundhog said spring is going to come soon so I have to get on a few projects for my car, nothing major though.

Finally a few more proposals and joint projects forthcoming with other sites, stores, and the like.

Turns out this is actually the second Boso build to be posted here, this was the first.

James the owner of the Boso box in that post sums everything up pretty well “its for sure a love or hate style of modding”.

It is honestly one of the most intimidating and refined looking Subarus I have seen in a long while.

There is a lot to be said about raw looking track cars, but a car that can get down on the track and still look this good sitting still?

I’ve never been a huge fourth generation Camaro fan but this one really caught my eye.

Maybe it was the photos, the height its at, or the fact its in the snow, I can’t really say but I felt compelled to save and share these photos.

On topic of Camaros does anyone like the 78-79s other than myself? My girlfriend swears up and down that I am the only person that could possibly like the late second gens.

However because she hates IROCS so I consider her opinion invalid as no 80s child should hate IROCS.

While Dodge has a habit of turbo charging random vehicles their owners are generally not down to to put them on the ground.

After sifting through many fairly negatively toned threads about stance I was able to find a decent selection of lowered Mopar vehicles that came from the factory equipped with snails (with a few exceptions).

Caught up on sticker orders once again this morning and also stocked up on envelopes as I was running out of ones that fit second edition of the “I Like Em Dropped” sticker.

Got a few interesting proposals both local and abroad in my mailbox to take a look at as well but first I got areply from the city about the roadwork that put a flat spot in my Equip so I will follow up on that.

Posted up a red e30 on the fanpage this week and someone responded perfect, made me think of this one.

In the original post an e21 Theme Tuesday was suggested… I need to write that one down.

The first time I sent out the order I misread it and as a result a few things were missing, so to make amends I resent the entire order along with some freebies from the mystery box.

Fast forward a few weeks and Takafumi showed his appreciation by sending through some photos from Fitted Fes 1 which took place January 22nd in Nagashima Japan.

Other than my friend Josh (and by association Hoda) I don’t really have any real first hand connection to the automotive scene, or culture, in Japan so I really appreciate Takafumi giving me the opportunity to run his photos here.

Furthermore with the internet currently saturated with coverage from the Tokyo Auto Salon it is really cool to see some photos what could be considered a typical meet in Japan.

I think at this point the people of Japan have modified more vans than North America did in the 1970s.

While I like 70s vans for their nostalgia I think if you take everything into account Japan knows their way around the family hauler.

One of the first photos that caught my eye in Takafumi’s coverage is the absolutely incredible looking e36 at the end of this group of photos.

For no reason in particular I assumed European cars wouldn’t be as popular in Japan as they are here, obviously I was wrong.

I stumbled across this s10 Blazer with a c10 front end when I was pulling together this weeks ‘no shine’ Theme Tuesday and thought it was worthy of a post of its own outside of that due to how unique it is.

This front end manages to be a huge departure from the standard Blazer front end but not look entirely out of place once you get over the initial shock.

The work looks fairly sound too.

Built by a talented family of auto enthusiasts (grandfather through to grand son) it is a great example of what can be done if you have the means and do not cut corners.

I recently found out the owner of this car is a fellow BMX rider and that was the final push I needed to post this car up.

Not that I wouldn’t have got around to it otherwise.

In my search for ground scraping Dodge Omnis and Daytonas I stumbled upon this SRT-4 swapped Chrysler Town and Country that is completely stock inside and out other than the drive train.

The donor SRT-4 looks like it had a run in with a pole so it was up for auction as was the original Town and Country that’s 2.2 turbo engine went up in smoke so two and two made four, and then eight as the builder ramped up the difficulty by keeping things like the abs, srt4 key fob, and dimmer via ignition for the interior lights intact.

With SRT suspension this car, in theory, could be slammed to the ground. That would kill it as a sleeper though.

Some of you may have noticed that certain items in the store are getting low in stock or are just plain out of stock. This is somewhat by design as I plan to do another ‘vote for the next color’ type of posting on here and facebook so I know what colors to order for 2011.

I am hoping to have the sticker color selection posts go up the week of the redesign, which I have picked a launch date for but will not announce just yet in case I further procrastinate.

It has been a long while since I have posted dedicated a post to a Honda fit, a platform worth revisiting and posting more of perhaps?

Even though it is an older build my first and only exposure to it for the longest time was that one lone picture of its ass.

Arguably the car looks best from the rear, but the rest of it isn’t all that bad either especially when you take into account the wide body isn’t an off the shelf kit and the twin turbo 2uzfe motor has been heavily worked over.

It also isn’t straight black like I assumed but a cherry black color from a Supercharged Jaguar XJ.

Wide mouth kids are perfectly acceptable when you have the inter cooler to go with

I might have written this entire post just so I had an excuse to post this gif in context.

Easily the only good thing about the (Dance) Ass song.

One, that his car is Lexus SC (and not a Toyota Soarer) and two the fact that he does indeed daily drive it like it as it appeared in the photo.

I’m not even sure why the first item is up for dispute, Alex owns the car so if he says it is a Lexus SC400 then it is a Lexus SC400, and for proof of the other disputed item he sent in some more photos.

The XXRs are old news so that is why they now see winter duty.
