Message Board Finds

GTA BMW Love

I Didn't hit up any shows this weekend so I am digging into my bag of local message board finds for this mornings post. I drove an e30 for almost eight years so I still have a lot of friends in the local BMW community and the cars I am posting today just happen to be some of those friends. These cars can be seen holding down the streets of the GTA.

The new standard for e36 convertibles in the GTA

Well it seems there has been a changing of the guard for e36 convertibles in the GTA. Since the last one got sold it opened up the door for a new kid on the block. The new kid said to hell with the door and smashed down the wall Kool-Aid man style, this car is off the hook.

Proof that suspension can make anything cool

I am sure a lot of you may not have ever heard of a Lada let alone seen one in person (I have not) so when I Spotted this quick progressing build over on Maxbimmer.com I figured it was worth sharing since it proves that with a little drop and elbow grease damn near anything can look cool.

Hump Day

Wednesday is known as hump day so I gotta ask did you make it? Or did you have as hard of a time getting over your hump as these cars did?

Random Whips

I've had a few of these low res photos kicking around the hard drive that I have collected from here and there. Time to liberate them.

WTF Fridays: Epic Piaa wheel failure

This wheel failure is some of the worst I have ever seen, it's seriously wtf? Up until I saw these photos I didn't even know PIAA made wheels I think they should stick to fog lights and stickers.

Hows this Civic lookin?

A well know car over on jdmrides did a rim swap for this weekends upcoming Honda-tech meet (Stance Is Everything will be there) and threw up a test fit shot of his car BBS RMs. My question is does the classic styling of BBS RMs work with a car that has such aggressive (but still fairly clean) body modifications?

If a b.o.v. goes off in the forrest does it make a sound?

This is hands down the most attractive and purpose built Forrester I have ever seen, from what I can tell and have been told it has an sti drive line and obviously some suspension mods. I wouldn't mind seeing and learning a bit more about this car so I think I am going to try and get in contact with the guy who took the photos.

Sunday Swag

I didn't head out to any events this weekend, partially because of the weather and partial so I could take a breather and do some things around the crib since August is going to be very busy for event coverage. Checking out my traffic I noticed that the weekends are starting to pic up some so I figured I would reward those of you checking out my blog on a lazy Sunday afternoon with some hotness.

This VW knows what’s up

Saw this car over on bikeguide and had to throw it up. So sick, swine flu sick, I dig.

Drop and Run

I have been pretty busy today with some job hunting, housework, and small technical additions to the blog but that's no reason to leave you guys hanging! Here is a trio of recent hotness I have spotted to fill the gap until I write my event preview for Scrape By The Lake later tonight. Enjoy.

Featured Ride: Jim E’s Mugen Accord

When I was growing up my mom had a burgundy 1988 Honda Accord that was a dedicated daily driver until the earth decided to claim it back by the way of rust. Unfortunately many Honda's of all generations share a similar fate. However thanks to members of the JDMrides community an increasing number of Honda's are being saved from rust and rice daily.
