Theme Tuesdays: Ford Probes

4

Last week on instagram goodnewamos suggested that I do a Ford Probe Theme Tuesday.

Being a sucker for a good challenge I dove head first into a land of swing up doors and body kits until I came back with a collection of Ford Probes that didn’t scream 1998.

Probin’ ain’t easy.

For the life of me I can’t recall the last first generation I saw on the road, and it certainly didn’t look like this

Erik’s car was at the same show marking the only time I have seen two Probes at one event

Sean’s bagged Probe looks phenomenal on Work VS KF wheels

Notice anything different about the positioning of this motor compared to the ones above?
frakenprobe2
It’s actually been rotated and was backed by a Miata transmission and rear end making it rear wheel drive, the way the Probe probably should have come stock

The car above is actually the second Probe he built, with the one below being the first

Who’d have thunk multiple people would campaign Ford Probes as serious drag cars?
