Event Preview: Battle of the Car Clubs

Have to thank my friends Pat Cyr and Chris Delacruz for giving me the heads up on this event taking place Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th at Downsview Park.

The idea behind Battle of the car clubs is pretty simple. It’s a mesh of your normal tuner Show and Shine competition combined with Drift Mania. This should bring out all the local car shows in the GTA to have some friendly competitions against each other in some of the various events (detailed in a sec) going on over the course of the weekend.

Admission Info
General Admission: $25
Student Admission: $20
Under 12yrs old: $10
Weekend Pass: $45

Competitor Info
Vehicle Pre-Registration (on now) is $75 until August 2nd then it goes up to $85
Vehicle Pre-Registration for 8 or more cars in a club is $65

As mentioned battle of the car clubs will have a show and shine and drifting but it will also have:
Karting
Exotic Car Gallery
Kidz Zone (bounce house, balloons etc)
Obstacle course (for both car club members and the battle of the models)
and an after party Saturday night
