This past weekend July 19th had to big events going, Eurofest and Scrape By The Lake, after weighing what both shows had to offer we headed out to Scrape By The Lake only because it's the only show close enough to the GTA that has a large turnout of Low riders and mini trucks. With over 164 pictures ready for the web this coverage is going to be broken up into three parts over the next three days in addition to our regular fare. First up: The Lowriders

This was originally supposed to be a guest blog on stanceworks but Mike is pretty busy doing covershoots and the like in AZ so I decided to post it here before it goes stale: Necessity is the mother of all invention, and this is probably how all the wheel swapping started along with the now famous words "ya these will probably fit".

Tuners Against Street Racing went off for its third year without a hitch and Stance Is Everything was there to cover the event. Since I took so many photos at the show I am going to break the coverage up into two parts. This second part of the coverage contains photos of some of the standout vehicles and amusing things from the event

Once again Stance Is Everything is bringing you the work of Local GTA photographers. This week we are showcasing the photography of local jdmrides member Kristoff aka INdPixma.

I went back to the first show I covered for Stance Is Everything, The Street Classics Weekly Cruise and Show and Shine. This time I arrived on time and prepared with the SLR and an empty CF card. The turnout and weather were great and the 50/50 draw was up over $2000, these shows are an excellent way to kill a few hours on a lazy Saturday Night.

Went out to the weekly car show again on Canada Day. Small turnout this time but I was still able to get a set of photos with no re shoots from last week and a few more creative shots since I had more time. I can't stress enough how much I like this show.

I totally forgot about this set of weekly show and shines as well. I had sometime yesterday before going riding to swing by this show and shine with the point and shoot. There were so many nice cars that I plan on going back next week with the SLR to shoot this event properly and maybe get some photos of the burnout rumored contests.

Stance Is Everything continues to bring you local GTA photography talent, this week we are proud to showcase the work of Sam H. Sam is a good friend who whips an m50 swapped 318 e30 and spends some time behind the lens when not under the hood, or behind the wheel of his car. He sent over quite a few nice shots, MX/ATV, track, cruisin and your standard parking lot fare. Check them out.

In an effort to promote some of the hard working business owners in the GTA car scene Stance is everything is going to run bi weekly features of fair, reputable, quality shops. This weeks feature is, Seche Media, a vinyl specialty shop.

July 12th 2009 is shaping up to be a busy day in the GTA automotive enthusiasts world. Earlier in the week I previewed the Tuners Against Street Racing Event and today I will be previewing the 3rd Annual Bimmersport BBQ.

This is going to be the first of what I hope is many photographer features here on Stance Is Everything. A lot of car enthusiast pick up photography as a hobby after shooting enough pictures of there own cars cars. Unfortunately the don't often get a chance to show of their non automotive photography. These photo features will include automotive and non automotive photography. Hopefully these features inspire more car nuts to pick up a cam and start shooting.
