Shavi Ain’t Care

In the gen one Mazda 3/Speed 3 world Shavi is somewhat of a legend for always pushing the limits of ground clearance and wheel fitment.

After years of punishing the ground, and the underside of his car, static he made the switch to bags around the same time I did and has been reaping the benefits ever since.

Unimpeded by the malaise that comes with snowy weather Shavi recently put in some more work to squeeze the extra 1/2″ or so of low I need to get out of my own car.

The white Cosmis Racing wheels that were on the car before have been replaced with 18×9.5 Klutch Republik wheels which, being less aggressive, have given him the ability to tuck wheel front and rear and eradicate any signs of light between his car and the ground.

The car is clearly still in the middle of a few touch ups, and apparently the Klutch wheels are temporary, so we will just have to wait and see what’s around the bend.

In the meantime once the weather warms up I well have to take another look in my front fenders because there’s clearly more I can do to get a little lower.
