Event Coverage: Extreme Invasion

The second show I went to this past weekend was Extreme Invasion. Even though the weather was looming all day and hurt the turnout a little bit the show was still decent. The big feature at this show (at least for me) were the SPL (Sound Pressure Level) cars. Prior to this weekend I never got a chance to see one of these contests in person or sit in an SPL car and even though my ears were telling me Monday morning that was a bad idea it was still something I had to experience.

Event Coverage: Hyper Meeting 2009

I got a chance to tag along to the Toronto Subaru Clubs Annual charity show and shine BBQ in Mississauga on Saturday with my friend Kev, I always have a good time at charity shows since everyone is friendly and in a great mood. None of that super competitive feel. It also helped that all of the winners were picked by the crowd. The weather looked pretty dodgy aft first but managed to hold out all day. Before I got my current car I was looking at Subaru's but they were just out of my price range, now I wish I saved up a little more money.

WTF Friday: The mysterious triple threat

This week I am going back to the other format of WTF Fridays and asking you, dear reader, what kind of cars these three are. Once I get some stickers made I am going to start giving them out as prizes for correct answers but until then this is just practice.

Featured Ride: Daves 1992 s10 Blazer

Have you ever had something you wanted so bad that you kept at it longer than you really should have at the dismay of others? You invested so much time and heart into it that you didn't want to let it go no matter how financially stupid it was to keep pushing forward? Well if you have you can probably relate to the story of my old truck and today's Featured Ride.

The Chronicles is doing big things

I started working on the feature for my old truck this morning (yay?) but I realized that I have out my license plates in most of them because I am super paranoid like that and I couldn't get them all done before work today, so ya it's not up. However I figured this would be a good time to big up one of my favorite automotive blogs: The Chronicles

Random Dopeness

Sorry for the lateness of today's post, I had to be up really early today to get my car into the body shop to fix a few scratches from a recent misjudgment. That all worked out and I am back to looking fresh to death though. I plan to feature my death truck (92 Blazer) soon but until I have time to sit down and write about that ordeal I figured I should throw up some quick random cars for those of you who check this blog everyday (and I thank you). Also I am placing an order for some stickers today, get stoked!

Theme Tuesdays: E30s

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that fit the vehicles overall theme). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: E30s

Another ‘too low’ citation in the GTA

The car I wrote about last week in my vrsexy post recently got pulled over in a Ministry of Transportation spot check and had his plates removed. Here is the drivers personal account:

GTA BMW Love

I Didn't hit up any shows this weekend so I am digging into my bag of local message board finds for this mornings post. I drove an e30 for almost eight years so I still have a lot of friends in the local BMW community and the cars I am posting today just happen to be some of those friends. These cars can be seen holding down the streets of the GTA.

Lost Coverage: Meeting of the Mazdas 2011

M.O.M is an event that prior to attending I had heard nothing but good things about and with Stance East making the trek from New Brunswick to attend both M.O.M and Importfest I figured 2011 was as good a year as any to attend for the first time. Besides someone had to show Will around. M.O.M. was an extremely laid back, quiet, outdoor, event, the complete opposite of Importfest the day before and exactly what those of us who had been at IF needed (in addition to sleep).

Honda Turbo B18 Swapped Mini

In search of a party on wheels? Look no further than this turbo Honda B18 swapped original mini. Pocket rocket? I'd say so.

Theme Tuesdays: Non Traditional, Traditional Lowriders: Euro Edition

Remember Euros? Lowriders built on platforms like Honda Predludes, Nissan Sentras, & Ford Escorts? This week's Theme Tuesday is all that and more.

Theme Tuesdays: F20 Powered

While writing the feature on Gerrot's awesome turbo LS1 powered s2000 I began to wonder what kind of applications his old F20 could be used for. I'm well aware that the f20 has become pretty commonplace in the ae86 chassis --there are at least four in Toronto alone-- but a bit of Google searching revealed that it's usefulness extends well past the Hachi-Roku. Here are a few examples I've found so far but I know there are more out there so feel free to share a few I may have missed!

SEMA Showstopper: Dangerous Canadian

SEMA is a massive show with cars from literally all over the globe so Canadian builds are not all that uncommon, but even still...
