WTF Friday: Wheelstand Fun

This one was inspired by a video I saw over on the cardomain blog. I have re posted it here with a few other amazing wheelstands I found on youtube. The Mustang one however is easily the longest wheelstand I have seen done by a car that was not set up specifically to do wheel stands.

The new standard for e36 convertibles in the GTA

Well it seems there has been a changing of the guard for e36 convertibles in the GTA. Since the last one got sold it opened up the door for a new kid on the block. The new kid said to hell with the door and smashed down the wall Kool-Aid man style, this car is off the hook.

Proof that suspension can make anything cool

I am sure a lot of you may not have ever heard of a Lada let alone seen one in person (I have not) so when I Spotted this quick progressing build over on Maxbimmer.com I figured it was worth sharing since it proves that with a little drop and elbow grease damn near anything can look cool.

Event Coverage: Street Classics Pre 1955 Show

I have been to a few Street Classics shows before and I always have a good time so when I saw a flier for their Pre 1955, Hot Rods - Roadsters -Rat Rods, show I made sure to stick it on my fridge so I would remember to cover it.

Theme Tuesdays: Ford Highboys and Lowboys

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that fit the vehicles overall theme). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Ford Highboys and Lowboys

VAGKraft 2009 Coverage Part 2

Part 2 of the, VAGKraft 2009, VW and Audi Car show at the Powereade Center in Brampton on August 16th 2009. This show had easily over 300 cars so the coverage suited a multiple part post. Part 2 includes pictures of the mk4s, vendors, dyno runs and auto-x pictures.

VAGKraft 2009 Coverage Part 1

Volkswagen owners are pretty much the originators of the slam, stretch, and poke so when I heard that Vagkraft was happening 10 minutes away from my house I had to attend. The weather once again co-operated and the turn out was great. Part one includes: mk1s, mk2s, mk3s Corrados, Sciroccos, Beatles and non vws.

WTF Friday: Scooter with VW Bus sidecar

For those of you following along you already know that I think vans can rock stance just as hard as cars but I have not really said anything about scooters being able to do so. I know about the Honda Rukus movement that's going on, but only in passing, and I have no intentions on ever owning one however I think this scooter with a VW bus sidecar is absolutely amazing and warrants a post regardless of suspension setup. I wonder how many drinks were involved when this was thought up.

Hump Day

Wednesday is known as hump day so I gotta ask did you make it? Or did you have as hard of a time getting over your hump as these cars did?

Blast From The Past: Evolution Racing Twin Motor VR6

The time has come once again for me to reminisce about another ride that I remember from a few years back that somehow disappeared into obscurity. To go along with the theme from this weeks Theme Tuesday iI chose VW that turned a lot of heads in it's heyday in the late 90s/early 2000s. This twin motored VR6 Golf is one of the first twin motor cars I ever recall seeing and as such completely blew my mind, I had so many questions I wanted to ask the owner but I could never find him.

WTF Friday: Jag That Runs

It seems that almost any time I post a Jaguar it has been modified wildly different than its original, slightly posh British cruiser, intentions. As cliché...

Theme Tuesdays: E36 Ti’s

It's about time I made good on my promise to do an e36 ti Theme Tuesday. While not for everyone (they took awhile to grow on me) with a fairly easy motor swap or the addition of some forced induction the e36ti can become quite the little monster. With the right aesthetic mods they don't look to bad either since they are really just a smooshed e36.

Always been a fan of this one

I've seen this car at a few local events and it has always stood out to me as being one of those cars that just looks "right". The owner isn't trying to push any boundaries when it comes to ride height, camber, or fitment and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Stance isn't all about specs and shock value, execution and final product play a big part and this car has been executed beautifully.
