WTF Friday: Scrapratlou

In a recent cruise by S10 Forum for some WTF Friday content I came across a link to @scrapratlou's instagram account and was instantly amazed at just how far outside the lines Lou has coloured...

Dark Shadow: Gary Donker’s ’95 Ranger

Being one of the most well-known Rangers to come out of Ontario Gary's truck really needs no introduction. It's appeared here in event coverage several times over, and been featured by a few other noteworthy...

Theme Tuesdays: Paint Ain’t Dead Pt. 1

The popularity of rubberzied coating (aka plastidip) and vinyl wraps has given birth to the widely used hash tag #paintisdead. While I don't take as much offence to this hash-tag as some others I will...

Event Coverage: Canibeat’s First Class Fitment 2015

Founded in 2010 Canibeat's First Class Fitment has become of the most highly anticipated shows among the aggressive fitment community. Some events use "Quality over quantity" as almost a cliché excuse for a small turnout, at...

Theme Tuesdays: Uncommon Subarus

The matte green SVX I posted on Facebook (and below) as a teaser for upcoming coverage from Canibeat's First Class Fitment lit the torch for this week's Theme Tuesday that sent me to all corners of...

WTF Friday: Triked Out

Trikes and WTF Friday posts are a match made in heaven, but it's been quite some time since the last (2JZ powered) trike was posted. Today's isn't as creatively powered but it is equally strange. The Geo Metro...

The People’s Champ: Taylor’d Customs ’59 Beetle

It's been two years since both the last time a Volkswagen Beetle was featured on the Stance Is Everything, and the last time a Taylor'd Customs build was featured, which is far too long for either. The...

Theme Tuesdays: Recently Viewed – October

WTF Fridays: Seriously?

A few cars I have seen over the past week or so that raise the question what they hell were you thinking... seriously!

Theme Tuesday: New Wheel Companies Part – 1

Sometime last year I got into a conversation about "real" wheel companies with a local enthusiast. Normally I try and avoid conversations like this all together but, this time I took the bait and asked the person to list off a few companies he considered real. The standard prerequisites (BBS, Volk, Work, and so forth) were fired off but I was a little shocked that he failed to mention any of the numerous new (or perhaps maturing) wheel companies that have been putting out original designs within the past 5 years or so.

Theme Tuesdays: Detroit Autorama Pirelli Tire Great 8

Since Friday of last week I've been living and breathing the Detroit Autorama. Once again having the opportunity to cover the show for Rod Authority I...

Winter Wednesdays: Harley in the snow

Some of the long time readers, or those of you who have looked through the Theme Tuesday archives, may have noticed I have a bit of an attraction to VW Harlequins. I like these cars because you don't see them often and when you do they can't be missed. Seeing one thats winter driven never crossed my mind until I saw rabriolet of vortex not given a damn and pushing his through significant accumulation.

Theme Tuesdays: BMW E9X

It's been awhile since I have done a Theme Tuesday on a late model car. This one in particular I've been working on and off for at least a year. Most of that time was spent with me pondering whether or not I really liked this chassis. Visually I think I do however if I were to get something for a performance aspect I would probably go older. This might have to do with the fact that I couldn't afford to own and mod an e90/e92.
