      Motorama Or Bust: Part 5

Ten days. There are ten days left until the Taylor'd Dodge needs to be sitting finished on the International Center Floor at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports expos. If this were a sporting event...

      Motorama Or Bust: Part 4

In the last Motorama Or Bust update nothing but the chassis was left at Taylor'd Customs as the 1933 Dodge body was sent out to be massaged by Smallwood Custom Paint, and the Latham supercharged Oldsmobile Rocket...

      Motorama Or Bust: Part 3

Compared to parts one and two currently the Taylor'd Customs shop is relatively empty with both the motor and body sent out to neighbouring shops Smallwood Custom Paint and Tenant Automotive respectively. The motor, which left before...

      Motorama Or Bust: Part 2

With a deadline looming there's literally no time to waste with the Taylor'd Customs '33 Dodge project and significant progress has been made since the last update two weeks ago. In the introductory post many details...

      Motorama Or Bust: Part 1

Late 2014 both the Taylor'd Customs '57 Chevrolet 3100 and the '61 Impala ended up under new ownership, with the Beetle finished and the Audi holding fast as a daily driver Blair was in a position...

Theme Tuesdays: Local Builds Part 1

It's been awhile since a build thread has appeared here, and with the season almost completely in full swing today seemed like the perfect time to post some of the local builds I've been following. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of these builds are at the first Stretch & Poke event on Sunday.

      Green With Envy

Two weeks ago sifting through what seemed like endless amounts of Hot Import Nights coverage I stumbled across a photo in my reader posted by eyegasmic cars that caught my eye. Intrigued I set out to find the original photo and more on the car. After tracking down photographer Scott Kroeker I was able to not only get permission to re-post the photos but also obtained the contact information of the builder Brent.

A bunch of hardworking Canadians: Part 2

Last week the spotlight was on a couple of Canadian drift builds I've been following whereas this week I've got on a few daily driver and show car builds to share. Similar to part 1 the builds this week run the gamut of manufactures but two things remain the same, all of them are Canadian, and all of them should look very sick once the dust settles.

A bunch of hard working Canadians: Part 1

Springs in the air here in Canada, sort of. Actually the amount of spring in the air actually really depends on your definition of spring, the given day, and your current location. Also yesterday there was a lot of stuff in the air but it wasn't really spring... but for the most part (unless its snowing) its spring that's in the air. With spring comes spinning wrenches, cutting metal, sprayed paint, and stretched rubber. I've been following a bunch of great looking builds based right here in the land of red and white and here are a few of them, all drift builds coincidentally.

      Epic Save

I found this build on JDM rides and 'Epic Save' were the first two words to come to my mind. This car started out as one of the worst looking Civics I have ever seen but the owner snatched the car from the moronic hands of the previous owner, put in some elbow grease and turned it into a nice, clean, de riced ride.

      IS300 V.I.P. Build update

Mr. Borges dropped me a line recently to let me know that his V.I.P. IS300 build is moving forward full steam ahead. If you remember last we left this build the car was looking pretty stock and he had a pile of parts sitting in his basement waiting to go on. Fast forward to today and we will find that most of the parts have made their way onto his ride. Let's take a look at what's been done.

      Mother of God

This could have easily been a WTF Friday post but I don't think that would have done this build the justice it deserves, this is honestly one of the craziest things I have ever seen done by a privateer and obviously I am not alone since jalopnik along with a number of message boards have already given it props. When a talented 27 year old Quebec native combines an EG chassis Civic with a GD (I think) chassis Subaru on a shoestring budget of less than 6k the internet stops and says "mother of god".
