Sil-Truck

After seeing a few photos of this pick up truck converted 240 pop up on instagram I immediately took to hunting down more photos. A lot of 240s look pretty similar these days but this one...

WTF Friday: The LSX Prius is An Actual Thing

I'm sure some of you remember a craigslist ad that appeared on Jalopnik advertising the sale of an LS powered Toyota Prius. While that turned out to be nothing more than a creatively worded pile of...

Randy Traps

If I were to guess --which I am going to-- I would say the number of Neons posted on the site over the years ranges somewhere from 3 - 5. From what I've observed...

Theme Tuesdays: Burnouts – Part 2.

The weather here in Toronto seems to be taking a turn for the better and as the temperature crawls up from 0 the sounds of summer grow in volume. Those sounds are of course the...

Beast Mode: Trevor’s 2007 Mazdaspeed 3

Recently a number of builds have emerged from the rapidly growing Mazda 3 aggressive fitment community that are pushing the chassis ride height and wheel fitment boundaries to new levels. As these cars get lower, and...

WTF Friday: Mayhem With A Seat

If you follow the site/myself on instagram (which you should) you will have noticed that on occasion I toss up a photo or two of the odd motorized kid sized trike. I posted this one not...

Probed

Shaun's Probe build has been steadily getting better and better and this year he kicked things up a notch by giving the car a full respray, a new set of kicks (Klutch Racing SL5s), and...

Theme Tuesdays: Classy Car Models Part 7

Keeping the hit parade of previously vistied Theme Tuesdays going again this week with round seven of the 'Classy Car Models' theme started back in 2009. I can honestly say I never thought this homage to...

WTF Friday: Double Down

This Miata is the automotive equivalent of the KFC 'Double Down' sandwich. It takes a sound concept (in this case a v8 Miata) and doubles it up into something that isn't very visually appealing and ultimately extremely hazardous to your health. With two Chevy 350s out in the open air and a frame that looks ready to give in on itself safe this probably isn't. But loud, over the top, and obnoxious it certainly is.

WTF Friday: Go Baby Go

I'm not even sure what to say about this car, it's not shiny, it's not pretty, and it's not even all that low but it is straight up crazy which is why I am posting it today. The creation below appears to be a barn find Ford sedan merged with the motor (Cummins turbo Diesel), transmission, wheels, brakes, and suspension of a much larger vehicle. I wish I could provide more information on this four wheeled terror but I've got nothing.

VAGKraft 2009 Coverage Part 1

Volkswagen owners are pretty much the originators of the slam, stretch, and poke so when I heard that Vagkraft was happening 10 minutes away from my house I had to attend. The weather once again co-operated and the turn out was great. Part one includes: mk1s, mk2s, mk3s Corrados, Sciroccos, Beatles and non vws.

SEMA Showstopper: The Syborg

I'm an early gen S-10(/Blazer/Jimmy/Sonoma) fan, and have been for as long as I can remember, even before I knew that they came in potent Sy/Ty versions. I'm actually still convinced Sy/Ty's are two of the best production trucks ever made. One big problem with my love for these trucks is that few survive our winters. I can think of a handful of clean s10s/blazers in the area and one Typhoon, and that's one of the reasons why seeing this once Sonoma GT at SEMA was such a treat.
