WTF Friday: Diesel Road Runner

Marking the end of winter, I always look forward to the Motorama car show. But for 2019 there was one car in particular I was really looking forward to seeing in person. That car, is of...

Theme Tuesdays: Gen 2 (DA5-DA9) Acura Integras

Overshadowed by the generation that followed the DA Integra might not be a common sight on the streets today but it's still a fantastic looking car.

What Makes A Car Build?

If wheels and a drop define what isn't a build then what defines what does. Is it dollars spent, hours spent, or some measure of custom fabrication?

Theme Tuesdays: First Gen Eclipse/Talons/Lasers

Before The Fast and The Furious immortalized the second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse, first gens were running around three different names. Eclipse, Talon, laser, these were all synonyms for what was essentially the same car.; a two, or...

Event Coverage: The 2019 Canadian International Autoshow

Featuring Lego Bugattis, Dubai Super Cars, Genesis concepts and all manner of exotic cars including the Ferrari F50 CIAS '19 was a great show.

Theme Tuesdays: Lowriders & The Canadian International Auto Show

Media Day at The Canadian International Auto Show has been my escape from winter for nearly a decade now. If I'm to be completely honest it's not the new model releases, or concept unveils that...

Way Back Playback: Car Craft August 1986

Back in 2014 the guys at Performance Improvements changed my life when they introduced me to Rick Dobbertin's Pontiac J-2000. Despite being born long after the peak Pro Street era I'm still a really big...

Theme Tuesdays: Ford Taurus

I'm going to be completely honest, I never thought I'd sit down and put together a Ford Taurus Theme Tuesday. Outside of SHO models the Taurus is a car that's seldom discussed, and these days...

Toyota 2JZ Swapped Nissan S15

Dylan Sharpe Racing's single turbo 2JZ powered S15 was his version of the 'perfect' Nissan S15 Silvia. If there is such a thing of course.

Fat and Flush 2

My friend Jay who is an E30 fitment guru, and one half of the driving force behind local BMW shop Stance Factory, gave me the heads up on this e36 that's wearing 265 Hankook tires all around. It's been awhile since I've seen this car, and I know the owner drives it hard, so I'm glad to see it's still in once piece and still set up to have the wheels driven off of it. Form > Function is starting to turn (back?) into Form = Function.

Another Bad Creation

Speedhunters gave me the opportunity to write another guest blog for their site and this time I decided to devote it to Northern Showdown,...

WTF Friday: Batman Returns

Last year I posted up a couple photos of Batman styled Porsche 944 I saw at the Cruisn' for The Cure car show, and at that point I thought the owner was done with the theme being firmly established. It would appear that I was wrong as the owner continued work on his Porsche by adding a few more details to the mix, most notably the winged flares.

Featured Ride: Jon’s 350z

A few years ago I saw a Volkswagen Mark II with a sticker on it that read "CCM - Clean Car Revolution" and while I'm fairly certain that at this point the owner of that car, and whoever coined that phrase, has moved on the revolution continues to live through cars like Jon's 2004 350z. Clean might be a word I use far too often on this site but it's the perfect word to describe Jon's car because it looks simply amazing without the need for a wild body kit, loud paint, or camber that's practically horizontal.
