WTF Friday: Ferrari winter beater, no big deal

While I could have easily saved these pictures for a Winter Wednesday post I figured it would be more fun to post it as a WTF Friday and show you out of town viewers how we do it in the GTA. I'm not sure if this Ferrari owner just didn't check the weather when he headed out in the morning or what but he learned quick that a 355 Spyder is not really a capable winter machine. Especially with what I can only assume are factory equip wheels and tires.

Blast From The Past: Evolution Racing Twin Motor VR6

The time has come once again for me to reminisce about another ride that I remember from a few years back that somehow disappeared into obscurity. To go along with the theme from this weeks Theme Tuesday iI chose VW that turned a lot of heads in it's heyday in the late 90s/early 2000s. This twin motored VR6 Golf is one of the first twin motor cars I ever recall seeing and as such completely blew my mind, I had so many questions I wanted to ask the owner but I could never find him.

Winter Wednesdays: The Bucket

Well it's finally happened, the first snow has come to cut down the amount of lowered cars on the road. Ironically the idea for Winter Wednesdays struck me in the summer and therefore I have been saving almost every picture of lowered cars in the winter as I could in anticipation for this winter. While some of us are fortunate enough to have winter beaters most of us do the lowered thing day in day out, Winter Wednesdays are a salute to those of us who do our part in plowing the roads all winter.

Theme Tuesdays: Dub Steppin

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: VW's

Two Local Heart Transplants

I've never been a vehicle purist, I am all about doing whatever it takes to get your vehicle to suit your needs, if a motor from another company fits under the hood of your car and can make more power cheaper than one of it's parent brand then by all means put it in there. If you are a die hard Honda Hatch fan and an RWD vehicle fan at the same time and the only way to combine the two means sacrificing a clean CRX shell that a lot of people would pay good money for than so be it. As long as the end result is better than what it started as then why not cut, weld, and modify? I love off the wall builds and these two are some of the GTA's finest.

WTF Friday: Tow Truck Fail

Tow truck drivers are an interesting bunch, I've had both the pleasure and displeasure of using their services at different times in my life. If nothing else anytime you get into a tow truck you are going to have a memorable experience. However I hate 'chasers', chasers are the tow truck drivers who race to an accident first to 'claim' the cars they often drive erratically and can cause more accidents themselves. Today's WTF Friday is an example of just that.

Readers Rides: Bryans Beautiful Bagged Thunderbird

Just the other day I was thinking about how now that the weather has gone sour I really miss going out to Street Classics and Applewood Plaza shows. I'm a pretty big fan of older American iron so I was really excited when the [email protected] account and had these pictures BC Stance is Everything fan Bryan M's 63 Thunderbird waiting in my inbox, his car is a real beaut and I am glad to be able to share it with you.

Function Vs. Form

Every day I like to make my rounds in the automotive blogsphere to keep a breast of what's happening in other scenes. One of the blogs I frequent is Speedhunters. For those of you who don't know Speedhunters is an automotive culture blog run by Electronic Arts, this blog touches on every part of the automotive hobby. Every month they do a theme, October was BMW month, and November was slammed month. Surprise, surprise, I was a big fan of slammed month. One thing I did notice via the comments though was that was that quite a few people were not fans of slammed month. It seems most of the people who were not fans based their arguments around function and those who were fans based theirs around form.

Theme Tuesdays: Lettin’ The Sparks Fly: Part 3

In the middle of a few Theme Tuesday ideas right now so I decided to fall back to all old faithful topic this week. Funny in Part 2 of this series I was debating the switch to air and that I have it I have yet to produce any dragging photos...something to try out on my winter wheels (Works would tear my quarters to shreds) perhaps.

WTF Friday: Not quite a barrel of monkeys

In life it's important to learn from your mistakes so before I get any further in this post let me state that this is not an attack against Rotiform. I've never talked to anyone at Rotiform nor dealt with then in any way shape or form so I have no axe to grind. They have a strong standing in the aggressive fitment community and I'm a fan of more than one of their designs so I have no slanderous intent.

Theme Tuesdays: Fellow BMX Riders

I like cars, this info is not new to any of you, I also really like to ride BMX and if for whatever reason I had to pick between the two I would probably chose the latter. However, I don't see having to choose anytime soon so I have decided for this Theme Tuesday to combine my two interests and post cars owned by fellow riders.

Well I never

Didn't have a whole lot of time to work on the Spring Fling coverage last night so until I get a chance to put that up this evening (or tomorrow) I'm going to post this e31 on Work Emitz wheels I spotted on the Stance Works forums a few weeks ago. I must say I never thought these wheels and this car would work together so well.

Theme Tuesdays: Four On The Floor?

Today's Theme Tuesday originally started off as a follow up to the Tripoding Theme Tuesday from September of 2010 but then progressed into one that had cars with varying amounts of wheels on the ground. Most of these are caused by a stiff suspension, steep angles, speed, or a combination of all three but a couple juice induced.
