What’s Old Is New Again

While kicking around a few 70s 'golden era' blogs I came across this '72 Camaro that employs a lot of the same styling cues popular today; wheels with lots of lip, white letters, a fender...

Winter Wednesdays: This Is The End?

According to the disembodied voices on the television without pictures winter officially ends tonight. However with the winter we've had thus far I wouldn't be rushing to put your summer wheels on any time soon as...

Event Coverage: The 2014 Detroit AutoRama

The Detroit Autorama is a completely unique show experience because it covers such a broad spectrum of classic car, truck, and hot rod builds. You've got your several hundred thousand dollar, no expense spared, shop based,...

WTF Friday: BMW Powered 34 Chevy

One of the (several) WTF Friday posts sitting in draft status is tentatively titled "BMW Motors abroad", and as the name suggests, it's a half written collection of various cars sporting the BMW roundel sitting...

Chopped C10

Last night (while looking for something completely unrelated) I came across this super unique, and awesome Chevrolet c10. Intrigued, I put a photo of it up on the Facebook fan page as a reminder to...

Theme Tuesday: Chevrolet Chevelles

Last night, thanks to Performance And Auto Sound Magazine, I was fortunate enough to take in a pre-screening of the new Need For Speed Movie. After the film (which was quite a bit better than I...

Theme Tuesdays: Pullin’ A Trailer

This week's Theme Tuesday was suggested by a reader and though I must admit I can't exactly remember who suggested it (sorry) I do remember agreeing that it was a great idea when they did. Last year I did a theme very similar to this (Lowered Trucks Pullin’ Stuff) but this one is a little different in the fact that it is not exclusively limited to vehicles with beds.

The Recipe

While I was gathering photos for the Chevy Belair Theme Tuesday I came across this Impala wagon that just about steered the entire post towards wagons. It's got a great stance, impeccable paint, and a set of wheels that, despite their simplicity, really pull the car together.

Theme Tuesdays: Cars With Mouths – 3

Whenever I check the site stats and see that the "Cars With Mouths Theme Tuesday series" is still one of the most visited I can't help but chuckle a little bit because I initially thought no one would really be into it. I guess the fact that we are now into round three of said series goes to show the longevity of the famous tiger shark art, and various other forms of automotive grins.

Theme Tuesdays: Chevy Belairs

As a child I built a heck of a lot of model cars (a hobby I have recently picked up once more) and one kit that I have fond memories assembling was Monogram's 1956 Bel Air. The Belair is a true American classic with an appeal that transcends many different scenes so I am a little surprised it took me so long to realize that there was a dire need for some appreciation here on the site.

WTF Friday: Low Budget T-Rex

Thought trikes were a 2013 WTF Fridays thing? Think again because this Cavalier based trike is just too damn 'wtf?' not to post. After presumably being on the losing end of a collision the rear end of this red third generation Cavalier has been axed in favour of a mess of tubing, a large rear wheel, and a formidable wing.

Theme Tuesdays: My Favorite Photos of 2013

Can't really think of a better way to send off a year of Theme Tuesday posts than with a collection of my own personal favourite photos of 2013. One day I might go back and count how many photos I take in a season, but I do know it's quite a few so narrowing down my picks was a little difficult but I am pretty happy with the list below.
