Theme Tuesdays

      Theme Tuesdays: BMW 2002s – 2

It's been two years since the last 2002 Theme Tuesday and quite frankly that is far too long. The 2002 is perhaps second most loved classic BMW (first being the e30) of all time so there are plenty of stunning examples out there. So many great examples in fact that you shouldn't be too surprised if a part three creeps up in the not too distant future.

Theme Tuesdays: Midwest Camp N Drag 2013 Favourites

It's been a little while since I've lived vicariously through the lens of someone else for a Theme Tuesday but once Camp N Drag photos started showing up in my news feed over the weekend this week's fate was set. It took a bit but after some searching I managed to find a great variety of photos from Lisa Bryant, 4130 Photography, Upstate DVD and CM Photography.

Theme Tuesdays: Trucks Being Awesome In Car Like Settings

Lots of people seem to think that trucks are only really good for hauling around couches, dirt bikes, debris, and people. These same people believe that trucks should stay stock height and should never be pretty as that "defeats the purpose of a truck".

      Theme Tuesdays: 2JZ In Everything

Going to even out the LSX in everything Theme Tuesday with a Toyota 2jz Theme Tuesday. Versatility wise it could be argued that the 2jz is on par with Chevrolet's legendary V8. Originally finding a home in the Toyota Aristo the 2JZ GTE soon became Toyota's power plant of choice for the Supra before eventually finding it's way under the hood of all sorts of different enthusiast owned vehicles world wide.

Theme Tuesdays: Eurokracy 2013 Burnout Contest

There is going to be a lot of Eurokracy coverage the site and fanpage this week and I can't think of a better way to start things off than with a Theme Tuesday dedicated to the crowd pleasing burnout contest. This is actually the first burnout contest I've ever photographed (Lyndsey on the assist) and I couldn't have asked for a better one to cut my teeth with.

      Theme Tuesdays: RIP Jae Bueno

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of lowriders and the lowriding culture and one of the people who documented that best is Jae Bueno. Based in LA Jae had access to the best of the best when it came to lowriding (and everything else automotive) and his work was showcased online via Fatlace, and his own site, and a couple times he even appeared over on The Chronicles.

Theme Tuesdays: 2013 Niagara Truck & Tuner Expo Vehicle Limbo

Going to switch things up a little and combine this weeks Theme Tuesday with some of the forthcoming event coverage. This years Truck & Tuner Expo presented by Nine-0-Five Rides was awesome and one of the highlights was the vehicle limbo.

Bonus Theme Tuesday: Car Crazy Canada’s Best 2013 Finalists

Got a special bonus Theme Tuesday this week presented by Meguiar's Canada. With the Car Crazy Canada's Best voting coming to a close this Sunday June 16th Meguiar's wants to make sure that everyone has had their say so they sent by these un watermarked photos for a closer look at each of the contestants.

      Theme Tuesdays: Lady Driven

The last 'Girls With Hot Rides' (Lady Driven from here on out) Theme Tuesday was in 2010 and to be honest that's entirely too long. The days of women rolling around in pink Civics and outrageous Sunfires are largely over and there are a number of ladies doing things just as good (if not sometimes better) than the guys and it's a damn shame I don't post them more often.

      Theme Tuesdays: Works In Progress

Since the dawn of time 'under construction' has been one of the most mover used terms in the car scene. Most cars with this proudly displayed on their wind shield or bodywork are either never really under construction or never going to actually get finished, forever stuck in a half primered state of being until they end up in the scrap yard. Works In Progerss however are different. How you ask? Well works in progress generally seem to either get finished or get parted out and are spared the sad fate of purgatory.

      Theme Tuesdays: LSX In Everything

The mantra of the devout non purist enthusiast is that the right motor for the job is the one that is the most reliable, cost effective, and powerful one available regardless of the make. More often than not GM's LSX ends up being the motor that fits those requirements, and as such the go to power plant for the non purist. It doesn't hurt that they came in a variety of different vehicles making them readily available, and have robust after market support.

      Theme Tuesdays: Local-Hero.jp

I've always found the relationship between Japan's automotive scene and the one in North America is pretty interesting. We copy them, they copy us, they copy us copying them, we copy them copying us copying them. It's like a never ending feedback loop that more often than not leads to a lot of cool cars.
