Sunday’s Refined: Curated Sunday Special

I have no problem admitting that I’ve become a bit more guarded with my time. A lot of my recent event coverage reflects that. These...

Theme Tuesdays: Dat Ass – Fitted Edition

This Tuesday I've opted to bring back the ever popular 'Dat Ass' theme but fill it with only cars that were at Sundays 'Fitted' event put on by Stretch & Poke. Gathering this Theme Tuesday took second priority to capturing as much of the event as possible so I might have missed a few significant rear ends but there is still a good amount of variety and the last picture is sure to draw some controversy.

Guest Coverage: Gumball 3000 2012 Toronto Stop

I arrived in the Bloor-Yorkville area around 9:30pm and walked to the Park Hyatt hotel, where I believe the Gumballer’s were spending the night. Three streets had been shut down across from the hotel to allow a U-shaped row for the Gumball cars to park and rev their engines for the crowd. Their cars were fenced off from the public, and rightfully so – the place was packed.

Event Coverage: Hot Wheelz Customer Appreciation

This entire week will be full of event and guest event coverage so if you often check the site from your phone you've been warned. Leading off the week of is coverage from the Hot Wheelz & Tirez customer appreciation show & shine that took place on Saturday at Hot Wheelz & Tirez in Mississauga.

WTF Friday: Nashty

I mentioned in Mondays coverage from the Street Classics season opener that the teal Nash Metropolitan present was the first I had seen in some time in stock form motor and all. Most of the Nash Metropolitans visible online and at shows (at least in my experience) are heavily modified just like this one currently up for auction on ebay.

Shoe Fetish

I feel as though at any time you could say "Dan recently got new wheels" and stand a 70% chance of being right. Dan being a member of Level One, and the owner of the yellow s2000 you have probably seen on Tuned-Life, Stretch & Poke, and Stance Nation, in addition to event coverage here.

Pfaff Tuned

Looks like gabrielb25 from jdmrides caught Pfaff Tunning's 964 project out in the wild on Sunday. Erik has been keeping me updated on this project since the beginning but these photos really do a good job of showcasing just how nice this car came out.

Theme Tuesdays: Local Builds Part 1

It's been awhile since a build thread has appeared here, and with the season almost completely in full swing today seemed like the perfect time to post some of the local builds I've been following. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of these builds are at the first Stretch & Poke event on Sunday.

Event Coverage: 2012 Street Classics Season Opener

The 2012 Street Classics season offically started this past Saturday May 19th at the usual Canadian Tire Etobicoke location. Over the winter a number of new retail shops opened up with more on the way which has shifted the location of the show slightly but thankfully has not moved it or shut it down entirely.

WTF Friday: Truck Ram Rod

What's 10 feet 2 inches long, has 480hp, and runs a 12 second quarter mile at 110 miles per hour? This Truck. Why is that something worth talking about? It weighs almost 4000 pounds and has the aerodynamics of a flying shoe box.
