Theme Tuesdays: Rear Wheel Drive Conversions Pt. 1

After posting the rear wheel drive Sunbird a few weeks ago, and being shown a rear wheel drive first generation Cavalier Z28 shortly after, I felt it was high time for a rear wheel drive...

Event Coverage: CSCS 2014 Round 1 – Pt. 1

It's said that if there is one thing that is constant in this world it's change and that truism couldn't apply more aptly to the evolution of the Canadian Sport Compact Series over the past two...

Event Coverage: 2014 Fitted Toronto – Part 2.

While sitting down and going through the photos from Fitted 2014 it really sunk in how much these events have grown. Starting from a very small meet, with perhaps a handful of truly fitted cars,...

Theme Tuesdays: Tripoding – 2

Revisiting another older theme this week with a selection of cars with three (or less) wheels on the ground. Some because they are low and others because gravity, speed, and traction are fighting it out...

Theme Tuesdays: Honda Preludes – II

The bagged Prelude on Work Meisters (from part one of the Megaspeed 2014 coverage) reminded me how much of a shame it is that we lost so many good Preludes to rust, and the Fast...

Theme Tuesdays: Kei Cars

Back this week with another theme that many might say is long over due. Incredibly popular in Japan by necessity Kei cars (light auto mobiles) have been enjoyed heightened exposure in North America as more,...

Theme Tuesdays: Cars With Mouths – 3

Whenever I check the site stats and see that the "Cars With Mouths Theme Tuesday series" is still one of the most visited I can't help but chuckle a little bit because I initially thought no one would really be into it. I guess the fact that we are now into round three of said series goes to show the longevity of the famous tiger shark art, and various other forms of automotive grins.

Theme Tuesdays: My Favorite Photos of 2013

Can't really think of a better way to send off a year of Theme Tuesday posts than with a collection of my own personal favourite photos of 2013. One day I might go back and count how many photos I take in a season, but I do know it's quite a few so narrowing down my picks was a little difficult but I am pretty happy with the list below.

Theme Tuesdays: That’s Static!? (Pt.1)

Weighing in on the static vs. air debate isn't really something I like to do because I feel people should get down how they get down and not worry about how, but I will say that there is something to be said for a clean static car with spot on fitment. I'm not talking cars that are easily identified as static from fifteen feet away due to smashed bumpers, questionable panel gaps, and catchy slogan covered munched quarters.

WTF Friday: Big Block, Little Car

In the 70s Street Machine Theme Tuesday I mentioned that the Street Machine look was pretty versatile, and could be applied to basically every kind of car imaginable. Case in point the 75 Honda Z600 found in today's post.

Theme Tuesdays: SR20 In Everything

I've decided to follow up the LSX, 2JZ, and F20 'in everything' Theme Tuesdays with an SR20 edition. To be honest it was a tough call whether or not to do rotary or SR20 centred post but once I did a little bit of digging I discovered the Nissan's 4 cylinder is actually fairly well travelled.

Event Coverage: 2013 CSCS Season Finale – Pt. 2

Back today with part two of the coverage from the CSCS Finale which is a small set of non action oriented photos. To my surprise there were a few cars at the finale I had not seen the entire season including one car I've never seen in person period. This isn't an exhaustive coverage of the show and shine but more a selection of vehicles and compositions that caught my eye. Enjoy!
