After doing the first Pictures with attitude Theme Tuesday I knew that I would have to do a number of follow ups since it was so well received.

Hopefully at some point I will be able to take some photos of my own to contribute to this theme, but until then enjoy the best the net has to offer.

Beautiful picture, beautiful slide

I don't know whats cooler the car or the track, check out the bank on that turn!

I know, not slammed, but it's still pretty cool to see a car doing this and not a truck

Another big 6 swapped Honda?

Don't know the story behind this shoot but looks like a good time was had

2002 racking some frequent flyer miles

Looks like this e21 has seen better days

Scariest thing about this is that with a few panel swaps it could be street driven..

Spits hot fire

Can you imagine how loud this was?

This is drifting.

This shots made it rounds but I can't believe the bus is doing what it is

Air cooled fun

Light tap

Heavy tap

Everyone would want to be a cop if this was the case

Awesome

This is dedication, bringing wood with you everywhere

Last week on twitter @TyCity called me out on the fact that I had not posted some old school JDM rides in awhile. Since he was right I decided to check some of my local sources for some old school goodness.

I’m not as up on my classic Japanese metal as I am my American but here goes.

Classy looking Starlet to kick things off

I think this is an old Celica? - (Nope Mazda rx-3 thanks joe)

Not sure what this is (TE21 Corolla 2 door sedan - thanks Phil) but the wheels look early Supra or maybe Mitsu Starion

Japans answer to the El Camino?

This old Subaru really does look like the wagon beside it

Judging by the plate this Celica is F20 powered, what happened with Celicas anyway

How did something start of so hard then go so soft?

This slammed wag is a popular one

Another classic wag

I love tubbed cars

Wish I knew what was under the hood

I love Datsuns

Just enough Japanese race influence for me

Another 1/4 set up piece of Japanese tin

What would this post be without a initial d esque ae86

This color looks like Hot Rod Flats Midnight blue, wonder if it is

No idea what this is anyone? (3rd Gen Celica thanks again Joe)

Respect your elders!

I am sure that I am not alone in noticing that roof racks have become a growing trend in VW, BMW, and Honda tuning scenes. While I am not sure how it started but it doesn’t have any indication of going away.

Since there are already lot of roof rack appreciation threads on the internet I figured to get a little creative with today’s Theme Tuesday and only focus on cars with roof racks that have BMX bikes on them.

Non riders

The interesting part about a lot of the bikes you see on the roofs of cars at shows is that they are set up nothing like how someone who actually rides would set their bike up.

The easiest way to tell if a person uses the BMX on the roof for more than just transportation is seat post height.

It would be extremely hard to do any tricks with a seat this high

Classically styled ef with a parking lot cruiser on the roof

Looks like someone is about to throw a pylon at this civic... or they are just moving it

Nicely dropped civic that I could have used in the painted wheels Theme Tuesday

Not a riders bike, but couldn't leave this one out

Old School bikes

These are bikes that the guys from bmxmusem.com would love to have in their own personal collections

The mag wheels are a nice touch with this older accord

I would love to know more info on this car and the bike

Possible riders

These bikes are a little harder to tell if they ride, they could be casual riders, or they just stole their younger brothers bike.

This hatch is perfect I love clean, glossy, black paint

The bikes a little lost in the trees so it

Even though this VW is hammered the bike has to be removed before going in the garage

Ok so it's not really on a rack, and impossible to tell the setup of the bike, but how could I leave this car out

Certified Riders

I can tell by the bike setups on these rides that these guys can, or at least could, get rad on a BMX bike at some point in their lives.

Diving board e30, BBS wheels, BMX on the top, man after my own hear

Industrial areas are always good places to ride, skis can make fun ramps in a pinch

Slamburglars has a bmxer in their midst

The fisheye makes the bars on this bike look super wide, matches the wide saw blades

This mid 80s civic wears its BBS wheels and roof rack well

This little CRX has a nice cruiser (24" BMX) sitting on its roof my guess would be an older racer

While this may not be a bmx bike, Logan from Full-lock owns this car and he does shred a bmx as well as he does a drift course

This was a fun one for me personally as I love when my love for BMX and cars come together. Hope you guys enjoyed it and for the record I keep my bike inside my car ;)

VW Harlequins are pretty interesting little cars. Like most people the first time I saw one I thought it was some sort of joke and was pretty surprised to learn that they were actually a limited run of Golfs by VW.

I don’t think any other car company would have had the guts to produce a car that looks like this, and I don’t think any fanatics other than VW guys could make them look good.

I know the ride height isn't all that low but we are just getting started

Kids R Us? I thought it was Toys R Us? What

With mismatched panels you can rock mismatched rims

Another shot at the same show, nice plate!

Night time shot with matching BBS wheels with mis matched caps

Harlequin sittin on Daytons

Rollin shot, fitment on these is actually quite nice

This next Harlequin sits on Borbets and gets around...

infront of a VW dealership...

...at a show collecting trophies, note the shoes

Harlequin lawnmower on Ronal Turbos

The late edition, Keven reminded me I forgot one

Jetta owner getting in on the fun

Was this foreshadowing on VWs part?

Apparently only around 264 of these Golfs exist, but a few of them have been repainted solid colors in order for dealers to move them off the lot so the number is a little harder to narrow down.

If you would like to know more about Harlequins check out vw nut Ross’s Harlequin database. He owns five himself in all the different base colors, wild!

CarĀ modeling is an interesting thing, I never really know how to interact with models at shows since I figure that by the time I show up (usually late) they have already dealt so many assholes that they have written off the entire male population for the day. Often for good reason as we can be pigs when women are dressed in their skivvies.

That’s why for today’s post I decided to pull together a collection of classy, mostly fully clothed, models that would be more approachable than a girl inĀ a bra and some ‘got ass?’ shorts.

This was a lot more difficult than I thought and I had to spend hours upon hours looking at women, the stuff I go through for my readers…

Ready for a night on the town

Car needs a little down and out

I posted this one before and it was well received

Santiago Gomez had the privilege of shooting this young lady

Local shop Next Mod has done a few shoots with nice models

Another with their is300

Exclusive

Both the girl and the car are unobtainable to me.

This photo shoot is super popular shouts too @solefoodOG on twitter for finding these for me

Low car long skirt

This pic works your emotions... get it? ...ya

Nice hand tat here

Another internet famous shoot

Car matches the shoes girls gotta accessorize

Threw this one in for my gf since she drives a Soul

This one came from an escort service site haha

The poor mans Bentley

Another Ferrari

Photo wise this shot is amazing

Just another pretty face...

This picture is awesome

Maybe this is why models normally don't wear dresses?

If you are like me and ever wondered what goes through the mind of an auto show model be sure to check out Do You Come With The Car – a blog of an unidentified auto show model. She is also on twitter at: @DYCWTC. I’ve already spent a few hours at work reading this blog…

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Honda Accords

Growing up my mom had a 1988 Honda Accord, it was maroon and pretty ugly but it had flip up headlights which always intrigued me a little bit. Beyond that though not much about the car or Accords in general interested me for years to come.

As the rice phase passed and Accords got cleaner and cleaner they started popping up on my radar more often and lately seem to be a quite popular platform for the stance/flush crowd. Coincidentally my mom just picked up an 09, maybe I will have to drop it on her when no one is looking.

I was going to organize this by generations but I’m not really up on my Accord generations so I did them from oldest to newest best I could based on look…

Clean straight foward CB, the pin stripe around the trim is quite nice

I'm normally not a fan of car bras but this car is pulling it off well

Every car so far has had a roof rack, unintentional I swear

My gf thinks I am crazy for liking Accord Wagons

I see this Wagon all the time in the summer at the skate park

Mesh and dish can never fail

Joey from the Chronicles had a sick ass accord on Works

VIP styled Accord, nice fitment

More racks

That's a big lip

Cali style

One of the cleanest Accords I have ever seen

Key Chain's sixth gen has been making its rounds on the internet

And for good reason these MB battles look great on this car

Local sixth gen at import fest

One half of the Tucson duo behind the lens the other in front

Another Accord sitting on battles

If your roads look like this slam it to the ground

Great looking shot great looking car

Hawaii once again showing us how it's done

Never seen this color before, it's quite nice

This gives me ideas for my moms newest Accord

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Vintage Lowriders

This one might be a little weird for some of you and if so I apologize but I fell asleep Saturday night watching the Barrett Jackson Auction, woke up Saturday morning in time to watch Living The Low Life with Vida Guerra, and then yesterday after reading a Speed Hunters article on Eric Big Daddy Roth I stumbled across some vintage pictures of vintage low riders.

I figured all of this was some sort of divine intervention telling me to post some real classic stuff for this weeks theme so I searched for some vintage low rider scans on google and this is what I dug up.

Hopefully you guys enjoy!

Photo Scans

Imagine this was the family car growing up?

Hovercraft

Slammed Corvair, big afro

Lots of time and love into this paintjob

Classic lowrider style on a classic bug

Gotta love the vintage graffiti in this one

Strawberry Jam!

The hair and open shirt make this photo

How can you not want this in your driveway?

A Riviera I do believe

New pics of classic rides

I love these paint jobs...

Crushed velvet explosion!

Magazine Scans

Not a lowrider but not a car I was going to leave out

I love this gen Trans Am, normally in Smokey and the Bandit Trim but this works

Imagine when muscle cars and gas were plentiful?

Too sick

Low ridin, side pipin, suicide doored classic Mustang... crazy

I still dream about the same things today...

Seems like in those days models wore more clothes

Lol surprisingly no drug references in this article

Another bug, this time a magazine feature

If you have never been to a hop contest I suggest you try to get to one

Till the bolts fall out the license plate

Finish things off with a cool little article

Since these are all obviously classic material and non watermarked here are the threads/pages I got the pictures from:
Squaredump.com
Kid Duece on flickr
The H.A.M.B
Los Boulevardos
Layitlow.com

Big shout out to all the people who scanned these and I can only hope that our generation documents our past as well and that it’s so fun to look back on later

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Down Del Sols

This summer I saw a few nice local Del Sols and after writing the mini feature on Eric’s Del Sol I figured I would try and throw together an all Del Sol Theme Tuesday. Not too many people stick with this platform it seems but they are actually fairly receptive to different tuning styles.

Start things of with a local grown Del Sol, this was his first set of wheels

The car really came together when he got these RM's and swapped wings

Car looks money on these custom painted and lipped RMs

Not a big fan of the bumper guards but everything else comes together nice

Looks like the same car as above just at a different point in time

Don't think I have ever posted 3 versions of the same car in one Theme Tuesday Before

Keepin things simple and clean

Not often you see white and red wheels but they work on this Del Sol

Sportmaxx wheels are so hard to hate

Mugen Equipped

BBS wheels look good on almost anything

This Del Sol is looking sick on Schmidt th-line rims

Another shot, love the smoothed body on this one

I think these might be ccws but either way they look proper!

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: The VW Beetle

Like every other VW in existence Beetles have been slammed onto the ground for as long as I can remember, original Beetles always draw attention when they are rolling down the road but when they are scraping by its a whole different type of attention.

Had to start things off with Herbie!

Starting things of pretty simple with a nice clean paint job and slam

A little cleaner and a little lower now...

Grounded

Now a little bit of patina

Now a little bit of patina

and a little more

No way to hide that setup, wonder if it's legal

No fenders and no shine

I'm not sure whats hotter the car or the photography

This car is way left of the Beetle norm but I think it works

Another unique take on things

Spotted this clean rat styled Beetle on Will

And the car of the man behind the lens

This car has a lot of the right things going on

This is how you do a bike/rack, gf even likes this one

Nice clean looking Beetle not too much camber out back

Clean paint and straight body

I'm not really a Beetle fanatic but something looks a little different about this...

Ah that's it this Beetle has an STI Motor swap! Amazing!

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: DC chassis Integras

I had two friends who owned red DC Integra’s and both of them had them rot to pieces before they could get them exactly how they wanted to theme. The downside to our climate I am afriand.

The clean Acura/Honda movement is one I love to follow.

Local ride, the owner seems to have made some enemies, but nice car none the less

I always preferred the DC Type R's in white over yellow

Type R DC's really don't need much more than a drop to turn heads

Why do these cars look so good in white?

JDM swapped DC, love the subtle color matching going on

This car is clean enough to eat off of and means business

This four door is sitting on some nice dish

Keeping a white bay this clean is a serious amount of work

Clever plate

I've never seen this color on an Integra before, nice touch with the mud flaps

Four door love

Another four door with a JDM front clip

Nice pair

Phaze 2 stays ahead of the game

This bay has a crazy amount of attention to detail

Fitment win

Got an idea for a Theme Tuesday? I am open to suggestions let me know in the comments.
