Not too long ago in my, Ten Trends of 2013 post I said the following:

“I still hold hopeful that the intensified media eye on Japan will help expose their thriving lowrider, minitruck, and hot rod scenes.”

I’m not pretentious enough to call myself a prophet, but less than a month after I said that Alex Rosen this great video of a Tuesday night cruise with the Strongers Kar Klub in Japan.

There’s so much awesome American metal in this video that it could be easily mistaken for a boulevard in California.

I find it relevant to admit that I am whole heartedly in love with the bodied blue 62 Impala built by Cholo Kustoms known as the “Next Movie”.

Really hope to see more of it this year, perhaps one of you could put me in touch with the owner…
