Event Coverage: 2013 Niagara Tuner & Truck Expo – Part 1.

After being unable to make the Nine-O-Five Rides Tuner and Truck Expo in 2012 I was glad the event organizers reached out with an invitation to attend and sponsor this years event. Leading up to the show the forecast was fairly bleek and in most cases a 90% chance of thunder showers would be the kiss of death for an event.

Theme Tuesdays: 2013 Niagara Truck & Tuner Expo Vehicle Limbo

Going to switch things up a little and combine this weeks Theme Tuesday with some of the forthcoming event coverage. This years Truck & Tuner Expo presented by Nine-0-Five Rides was awesome and one of the highlights was the vehicle limbo.

Pour Some Out

Lost a good one yesterday on the way to Truck & Tuner Expo. There's some misinformation and rumours floating around regarding it's demise but the long and short of it is heavy rain, inexperience, and high horse power were involved. Such a shame because I quite liked the car and it was incredibly clean. The colour it was painted always made it an interesting challenge to shoot as well. There's a lot more purple in it than the photos below really illustrate.

Car Crazy Canada’s Best Round Table

With voting for the 2013 Car Crazy Canada's Best competition coming to a close this Sunday the Meguiar's crew and myself thought it would be interesting to have a bit of a round table discussion about who we think is going to Vegas for SEMA 2013. I've always liked the idea of round table articles and I'm very happy that each of these people took some time out of their busy day to sit down and write a few words.

WTF Friday: Stealthy Samurai

Remember the Ramey Built , F20 powered, Geo Tracker I posted shortly before Christmas in 2012? Well I've found the first vehicle I would like to see it go up against down the quarter mile: this immaculate 86 Suzuki Samurai powered by a Chevy 305. Aside from the obviously borrowed power plant the 'trucklet' (sellers words) appears to be mostly stock. I say mostly because inside the factory seats have been ditched, along with the center console, but aside from that it's factory Suzuki.

Event Coverage: Brimell Scion’s Super Tuner 4

On Sunday I managed to make my way over to Brimell Scion for their fourth annual "Super Tuner" event. Initially I assumed I would have to sit this event out due to the after effects of a bachelor party the previous night but to my surprise my body seemed relatively unaffected by a night of debauchery so I rolled out. Dealership shows are always kind of hit or miss so I didn't really know what to expect on the way to Super Tuner 4.

Guest Coverage: Vanfest 18

I'm generally pretty lucky when it comes to scheduling events around personal commitments, for the most part things just kind of work themselves out. There are a few exceptions to this however and one event that seems to consistently fall on a weekend I'm busy is Vanfest.

Bonus Theme Tuesday: Car Crazy Canada’s Best 2013 Finalists

Got a special bonus Theme Tuesday this week presented by Meguiar's Canada. With the Car Crazy Canada's Best voting coming to a close this Sunday June 16th Meguiar's wants to make sure that everyone has had their say so they sent by these un watermarked photos for a closer look at each of the contestants.

Theme Tuesdays: Lady Driven

The last 'Girls With Hot Rides' (Lady Driven from here on out) Theme Tuesday was in 2010 and to be honest that's entirely too long. The days of women rolling around in pink Civics and outrageous Sunfires are largely over and there are a number of ladies doing things just as good (if not sometimes better) than the guys and it's a damn shame I don't post them more often.

Event Coverage: Sema 2013 – Part. 2

Back today with part 2 of the Stance Is Everything / Performance Improvements coverage of the 2013 SEMA show in Las Vegas Nevada. When Rob offered to contribute coverage this year I wasn't really sure how many photos he'd be able to fire off between meetings and conferences that come with conducting business the week of the SEMA show.

We start our Eurokracy Montreal coverage with a brutally hot day at ICAR Circuit, in Mirabel, Quebec. A venue which has not a speck...

Turbo Chevrolet LS6 Swapped 1957 Chevrolet 3100

Steve Metcalf's turbo LS6 Chevy 1956 Chevrolet 3100 is a 500hp tire burner built the way only an Australia living in the United States could.

Pink is for…

There are a number of different ways I could finish that title and while I posted a mammary filled video on the fan page yesterday my intentions are to keep this blog (mostly) safe for work, so in this case pink is for eye catching. Which just so happens to be a great way to describe Bryan's Pink DC Interga that sports a completely custom and fairly subtle all metal wide body. Being able to keep things clean while rocking such a bright color can be tough but Bryan has got it down to a tee.

WTF Friday: Skynoma?

Being a member of s10forum I am not really sure how I missed this build where an s10 owner put an rb20det in an s10 but I did. I had no idea this even happened until I saw a video clip on my friend Jesse's new blog Dorimoto and my interest was peaked.
