Jimmini Jillickers

Evidently one of the most sought after compact 4x4s in North America, The Suzuki Samurai, is known as the Jimny in Japan. I honestly had no idea when it came here it got re branded but I guess it sort of makes sense as most things do. The last Samuari/Jimny I saw was all decked out for mudding and is a stark contrast from the one I am posting today.

When wagons attack

This might be the coolest Civic Wagovan I have seen since Bisimotos 700hp D16 beast or the one in the famous Wagon Attack 2 video. If these things didn't rust to hell so easy there would probably be quite a few cool ones around. Oh well I guess the best thing to do would be appreciate what we've got left. Big fan of this one.

WTF Friday: One wild Vette…

Corvette fans I will warn you now, avert your eyes, because what you are about to see you probably will not like, and on that same note early Dodge truck fans I suggest you proceed with caution as well because one of your own has also been roped into this hodge-podge build. Looking at this 1977 'Vette it's easy to tell that the person who built it had some level of mechanical ability. The car still functions after all these 'modifications' but I think you will agree that their taste in aesthetic mods leaves a little to be desired.

Hidden Truths

This FD's got an LS1 under the hood, I have not seen it but I am willing to take Matt at Farm of Minds word for it because why would he lie? Even if this FD doesn't have an LS-1 under the hood aesthetically it's pretty mean with it's functional stance, high contrast bright green Enkei RPF-1s, and subtle body modifications.

DC Squared

I was surfing JDMR the other day and I noticed that the red DC in this post is up for sale/being parted while the white one is going under the knife for a 2011 transformation. This means that these photos, which are not all that old, are now time capsules of the last time these cars wore their Mugen inspired look. I'm not sure what the owners plan to do next but judging by what they have already accomplished it's safe to say that what they are pushing in 2010 will look at least this good.

When men were men

It appears that when men were men they drove the snot out of open wheel cars in open faced helmets with not a care in the world. I have no idea what sort of race series these photos came from, and no idea what type of cars they are but I know they needed to be shared with more people.

Winter Wednesdays: Rock with it

This winter has been pretty wild so far: two hours away people have been getting snow almost non stop for a week and a half while even farther in away in Ontario people were stuck on the highway in their cars for a couple days. Here in GTA it's just been cold, so that I don't even want to bother setting up my new snowboard, the board which I am reminded of not because of the weather but because Eric has two strapped to the roof of his beater in this Mike Joe photo shoot.

Theme Tuesdays: MKIII Supras

I think the MKIII Supra is slept on. Sure the MK4 that came after was a big success, and yes MKIII's may have had head gasket problems, but I'll be damned if they can't look good in the right hands. The wedge like body shape and pop up headlights are great indicators of the time period the car came from, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Mr. Two takes to the sky

Rally cross looks like fun, I should figure out a way to get out to one probably the only time I will see an MR2 do this. Short post is short

Toyota 2JZ Swapped Honda S2000

The Toyota 2JZ GTE pops up once again in Zach Leitzke's Honda S2000. 1250 Horsepower under the hood of one of Honda's nimblest creations is the makings of a super car killer.

Motor Monday: Plot Twist

This traditional looking 350 Chevrolet small block was founder under the hood of a not so traditional truck. Quite an improvement over the factory 4.3!

WTF Friday: I ain’t even mad

Even though this 'go kart' has a pull string throttle, bench seat (with no belts), mismatched bald tires, a frame of unknown origin, was built with 'hold my beer' mechanics, and looks to be about 8 kinds of dangerous, I'm not going to lie I kind of want to drive it. It looks (and sounds) like the motors best days are behind it anyway so what is the worst that could happen?

WTF Friday: Not quite a barrel of monkeys

In life it's important to learn from your mistakes so before I get any further in this post let me state that this is not an attack against Rotiform. I've never talked to anyone at Rotiform nor dealt with then in any way shape or form so I have no axe to grind. They have a strong standing in the aggressive fitment community and I'm a fan of more than one of their designs so I have no slanderous intent.

WTF Friday: V8 Single Cab Volkswagen Street Rod

Scrolling through my Facebook timeline this morning, dodging an ever-increasing amount of click bait articles, I saw a few photos of the front of...
