Theme Tuesdays: Classy Car Models

Car modeling is an interesting thing, I never really know how to interact with models at shows since I figure that by the time I show up (usually late) they have already dealt so many assholes that they have written off the entire male population for the day. Often for good reason as we can be pigs when women are dressed in their skivvies. That's why for today's post I decided to pull together a collection of classy, mostly fully clothed, models that would be more approachable than a girl in a bra and some 'got ass?' shorts.

Sleepin on ya

Cars like this are the reason that I am glad I started this blog. When I originally saw this car on jdmrides.ca I thought it was amazing and sent it to a few friends but I really wished that more car people got a chance to see a machine like this since I think cars like these make the hobby more interesting. Thankfully the thread I saw it in over a year ago was bumped and the pictures were still live so I can now share this ride with a larger audience.

WTF Friday: Double Trouble?

While collecting pictures for next weeks Theme Tuesday I came across this funny picture of a girl sitting on top of a huge double blower setup on a pro street looking Pontiac GTO. With my interest peaked I decided to investigate further.

Blast From The Past: Leonard’s Euromobile

Today's blast from the past doesn't really go all that far back, just to a time when gta e30s were low with wheels were sunk into fenders. Though now sold this alpine white e30 will be remembered as one of the first e30s in the GTA do go down and out.

Smoothin it out

I've been noticing smooth chrome wheels seem to be surfacing outside of the rod/muscle/mini truck scene lately, and while I wouldn't want to see these wheels popping up ever where, I do like them in moderation. It's a nice change of pace from the standard fare.

Winter Wednesdays: The beauty of all wheel drive

Subaru's are capable cars that are meant to be drive all year round. Today we have two Subaru's that are not afraid to be out in the fluffy white stuff that falls from the sky.

Theme Tuesdays: Honda Accords

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Honda Accords

Lucky number Slevin

This morning my gf and I realized the fatal flaw of the standard alarm clock, you have to set it. Luckily I've had these photos uploaded since last week when I was going to post them until something else came up. I don't really know a lot about this car other than the fact that its a build from Portugal shot by Gonçalo Reis.

WTF Friday: Random Weird stuff

All of the images and video in today's WTF Friday post are pretty random but they are all loosely automotive related and pretty weird so up they go. I've also added a flashback Friday portion to my Friday posts to shine some light on older content some of the new readers might not have seen.

Theme Tuesdays: Sy/Tys

As a big first generation S10/Blazer fan the first time I discovered Syclones and Typhoons they shot to the top of my 'favorite vehicles ever built' list about as fast as they ran down the quarter mile. I mean what's not to like about an all wheel drive pickup/suv that could out run a Corvette and a Ferrari in stock form?

WTF Friday: Winter towing fail 2011

This has got to be the funniest towing fail I have seen since the one where a bunch of clowns remove the back of a car trying to get it out of a snow bank. If your wondering how this truck ended up upside down in a frozen lake your guess is as good as mine. However one take away from this video is never under estimate the power of a front end loader.

Winter Wednesdays: IS300 snow day

It feels a little weird posting a Winter Wednesday today as it's actually fairly mild here in the Toronto area (above zereo). I also can't remember if it snowed the last seven days but what the hell both of these IS300s are more than worth posting. I can't recall where the owner of the one on gumetal one lives but I'm told the owner of the white one lives in a part of Virginia that generally doesn't get lots of snow.

Worth A Watch: Lacing The Ghia Roof

Mike McConnell's Karmann Ghia is an impressive build on all fronts, but one of the things that has always intrigued me about it is...

Tires23 just raised the Mazda 3 fitment bar.

I didn't really plan on today being a double post day I figured the Kirkfield Carshow event coverage I will have up this afternoon/evening would be all I would post today. But when I saw this Mazda Speed 3 that Tires23 posted on TorontoMazda3.ca I knew I had to post it.
