In trying to keep some variety in the Theme Tuesdays (and posts in general) I decided to keep the import and American Theme Tuesdays on the hard drive this week and do something else. Originally the plan was to finalize the Type A Theme Tuesday but after stumbling across the first Harlequin in today's post that was put on the back burner. I never expected this theme to make it to a second round but I'm glad it did.

This has been a crazy week for the Toronto area, the upcoming G8 and G20 summits have turned the downtown core into a media and security frenzy. In close proximity to the summit you have a mix of people who don't care, people who care too much, and police in riot gear all milling around, and as if things were not volatile enough mother nature decided Wednesday would be a great day for an earthquake. The ground shaking must have jarred some things loose in this local nut's brain because he was caught cruising around in Hyundai with a crazy home made container on his roof filled with weapons, details inside.

Well, once again I would like to thank everyone who entered for another successful contest. I was able to draw out a few of you lurkers as well as find new blogs to put into my own personal reader. People who build sleepers have to be some of the most creative and dedicated car people period. The dedication it takes to do something ridiculous to your car but keep it as stock looking as possible so as not to give away your secret is nothing short of incredible. Sleeper builds are always creative, interesting, and motivating. Motivating because after seeing the fabrication skills someone went through to get their idea to work it makes doing simple bolt-ons seem like nothing worth complaining about.

I have been pretty busy today with some job hunting, housework, and small technical additions to the blog but that's no reason to leave you guys hanging! Here is a trio of recent hotness I have spotted to fill the gap until I write my event preview for Scrape By The Lake later tonight. Enjoy.
