Event Coverage: The 2010 Toronto International Auto show

This Saturday I went to the Toronto International Auto show, which I used to go to all the time with my dad as a young buck but this is only my second year going as an 'adult'. Going the Saturday before the show closed was perhaps a mistake as the show got busier as the day went on making it harder and harder to take photos.

Is this the first titled R33 in Canada?

For those of you living outside of Canada let me give you a quick break down on our car importation laws... they suck, and when I say they suck I mean they are strange. To tell you the truth I am not 100% on them, all I know is that going by our odd rules this R33 might be the first on our streets.

Mr Dori

I've posted a few S cars here and there but I really like this one. So clean, so simple, so dope.

Theme Tuesdays: Classy Car Models

Car modeling is an interesting thing, I never really know how to interact with models at shows since I figure that by the time I show up (usually late) they have already dealt so many assholes that they have written off the entire male population for the day. Often for good reason as we can be pigs when women are dressed in their skivvies. That's why for today's post I decided to pull together a collection of classy, mostly fully clothed, models that would be more approachable than a girl in a bra and some 'got ass?' shorts.

Featured Photographer: Santiago Gomez

Lately photographers to feature have been few and far between, winter has a big part to do with this as motivation to shoot cars often goes out the window when the weather outside is consistently -15 degrees below zero and all the cars are covered in salt. Luckily while browsing the Union Auto Club blog I stumbled across a talented photographer named Santiago Gomez.

Winter Wednesdays: Banzai!

Today's Winter Wednesday pic is pretty much on par with the weather we have been having here in the GTA. Small amounts of accumulation and a lot of slush and gray. I'm not really complaining but it's not like I am stoked on it either. Anyway this 510 owner decided to have a little fun with the snow on his car.

Theme Tuesdays: Pics with attitude

Winter Wednesdays: Winter Stretch Union Style

We haven't had much in the way of accumulation so far this week but since there was black ice everywhere last night making an average 20 minute highway rip take me over an hour I figured a Winter Wednesday post was justified. This week we have something from UNION Auto Club, ever seen stretched winters tires?

WTF Friday: Ferrari winter beater, no big deal

While I could have easily saved these pictures for a Winter Wednesday post I figured it would be more fun to post it as a WTF Friday and show you out of town viewers how we do it in the GTA. I'm not sure if this Ferrari owner just didn't check the weather when he headed out in the morning or what but he learned quick that a 355 Spyder is not really a capable winter machine. Especially with what I can only assume are factory equip wheels and tires.
