      Ass, Ass, Ass, Ass

There is a fair chance a lot of you have only seen this Supra from the rear. Even though it is an older build my first and only exposure to it for the longest time was that one lone picture of its ass. Arguably the car looks best from the rear, but the rest of it isn't all that bad either especially when you take into account the wide body isn't an off the shelf kit and the twin turbo 2uzfe motor has been heavily worked over.

      Winter Wednesdays: Proof

A couple weeks ago a picture of Alex's Lexus SC at Blue Mountain made it's way to the fan page and two things about said picture were quickly disputed. One, that his car is Lexus SC (and not a Toyota Soarer) and two the fact that he does indeed daily drive it like it as it appeared in the photo. I'm not even sure why the first item is up for dispute, Alex owns the car so if he says it is a Lexus SC400 then it is a Lexus SC400, and for proof of the other disputed item he sent in some more photos.

Theme Tuesdays: VW Harlequin’s Part II

In trying to keep some variety in the Theme Tuesdays (and posts in general) I decided to keep the import and American Theme Tuesdays on the hard drive this week and do something else. Originally the plan was to finalize the Type A Theme Tuesday but after stumbling across the first Harlequin in today's post that was put on the back burner. I never expected this theme to make it to a second round but I'm glad it did.

      Featured Ride: Taylor’d Customs 57 Chevy 3200

If this truck could talk prior to becoming part of the Taylor'd Customs fleet it would have told the same stories any other 54 year old truck would. Tales of journeys to and from work or the farm, first dates, and perhaps a trip to a hospital for a child birth (or two) are nothing out of the ordinary of a truck this vintage. Dragging frame from from Ajax Ontario to Ohio though? That is a little less typical and a welcome turn of the page in the history of this awesome 57 Chevy 3200.

      WTF Friday: SC-ary

Posting a WTF Friday critiquing a donk might be a tad hypocritical or ridiculous after posting this awesome cartoon on the fan page earlier this week but it just so happens that this particular donk is a LOT of ridiculous. Now I can generally respect (or at least tolerate) a well built donk, but this SC.... Mangled fenders, missing center caps, and just an odd overall stance (even for a donk) make this car look quickly pieced together.

And now for something completely different

How about a little change of, well... pace for today? Change in the way of a 1979 Mustang pace car that has been done up pro touring style with Roush/Wilwood big (huge) brakes, a beautifully redone interior, custom 8.8 rear end, mini tubs and... bags to put this right car at exactly the height the owner wanted.

How many times is too many times?

This will be the third time I have dedicated a post to this A3. Outside of Pedro's car (who is local) and the EuroProjektz build I don't think I have posted any other A3 quite as much. Every time I see new photos of this car I just can't seem to help myself. Obsessed? Maybe.

      Theme Tuesdays: CRXs

I am a little puzzled as to how I could have seriously gone so long without doing CRX Theme Tuesday considering I have already done Accords, Wagonvans, and Preludes. Seems like it would have been an obvious choice considering a friend of mine had a sick green one for awhile, must have just slipped my mind. Until today of course.

      Featured Ride: Moneesh’s RX-8

2011 saw a lot of people take extreme measures to build something that stands out in what has become an increasingly competitive scene. In an attempt to separate themselves from the latest internet sensation some arguably took things a little bit too far. Montreal native Moneesh didn't do this, instead of setting out to launch the 'fitment bar' to the moon he upgraded his car with modifications that compliment the RX-8's factory figure letting the final result speak for itself.

      WTF Friday: 2JZ Trike?

Trikes by design are a little weird. They are not quite a motorcycle, and not quite a car and often piloted by people with big beards and awesome bandanas. Today's trike isn't just a little weird it is a lot of crazy and comes from @clintjollygreen via twitter. Clint spotted this single turbo 2jz powered trike at an Ama superbike race in Wisconsin.

      Hubs & Whites

If you are of the mindset that stance is all about wide wheels, stretched rubber, camber, and static suspension hopefully this '66 Cadillac Coupe De Ville will change your tune. Hammered to the floor via air ride and sitting on simple hub caps with white walls this car has got stance for miles, which is just about how long it is. Some cars all you need is low and this a perfect example.

      Winter Wednesdays: Miata

There still isn't really any snow in the GTA (damn cold though) but Sunday and Monday I was in snowboarding in Barrie and Monday morning we woke up to an incredible amount of fresh show which made conditions awesome. Driving wasn't so great but Lyndsey's Kia Soul fared pretty well (considering it is on all seasons). All of this means that Winter Wednesday is a go for this week even though I see bare pavement outside my window.
