When I first saw these pictures it took a little while for me re realize what was going on. My brain struggled with the fact that someone drove on public roads like this.
I really wish there was video to go with it, imagine the stopping distance?
Sittin low out back, if these tires het the bed, game over!Wow looks like this little Ford is hauling some heavy machinary, what is that a tractor?Nope it's pulling two, count em, two heavy ass old school built monster trucks
Blows my mind that this even happened.
This has nothing to do with the above pics but made me LOL...they see me rollin they hatin
Site Updates
I’m thinking of whipping up an event calendar soon, it should help people in Toronto know whats coming up and help me remember which events I should attend since I have a questionable memory.
It’s a long weekend here in Canada as well so I will probably try and make a post or two over the weekend and maybe work on some new sticker designs or something as I am getting pretty low on the current ones and new ones are always fun.
Other than that it’s business as usual.
Flashback Friday
This picture still makes me laugh. ‘Stock Suspension!!’ Indeed.
Looks like a fun ride, I'll pass
Remember cops are going to be out in full force this weekend! So think before you act.
Taking it back to Cali again, this time courtesy of Adam who is the owner of two clean, low rides. The first one is a Euro while the second is classic California Sunday cruiser.
New school or old school Adams got you covered.
e46 m3
Adam’s got a number of modifications in mind for his e46 but chose to start out by getting his stance on point with a set of KW variant 2’s and VMR V713 wheels.
The end result really speaks for itself, clean, clean, clean.
The wheels compliment the color of this car flawlesslyClose up of the flushThis shot really shows how well the concave wheels look at a distanceThis car is packing serious tread width on all four cornersExcellent photo locationMy favorite shot of the bunch
65 Impala
This is Adams weekend cruiser, a well set up 65 Impala, every Cali resident should own an impala.
I love classic American muscle'If you scared go to church'Beautiful viewPerfect cruising height

Previous Event Photos
Lots of bass in the place, since there is a DB contest after allThe show will have domestics......imports......Euros......models......and more.
Stance Is Everything will be covering this event
I am also a sponsor, throwing in some stickers (it’s all I have :P) hope to have some new designs by then
I’ve made it a point over the last few weeks to interact with those of you on the facebook ‘like’ page more and while doing so I noticed that the fan photos gallery had some super clean looking readers rides.
For those not on facebook or part of the ‘like’ page page here is some of what you are missing out on.
Aaron’s Civic
This is Aaron’s second Civic and he decided to keep it simple this time around and I think it works really well.
Have to love how Aarons clean subtle mods have transformed his carAarons Civic is clean and simple
Andrews Genesis
Andrew was a Ford Probe owner but made the jump to the Genesis and has wisely never looked back. Fat N Fly.
Andrews dumped Genesis, I know he's got new wheels on route
Geby’s Rx-7
Geby’s RX-7 is just filthy, if you can’t appreciate the magic and mystery behind a rotary motor you should at least be able to appreciate how clean, flush, and dumped this car is.
This car could have easily made the rolling shot Theme Tuesday
Rob’s Corrado
Rob’s clean white Corrado has been feature on a few sites already and deserves all of the exposure it gets.
Clean dialed front endEqually clean rear endSittin properWhites
Sarahs GTI
Sarah’s GTI isn’t just a looker on BBS wheels and FK coils, her 16v also has Kent uprated cams, a Power Rohr, four branch manifold, and a stainless steel power flow exhaust. ‘He’ is quite the machine.
Singe rounds, mono wiper, flares, euro all the wayIf only all women rode so cleanSuch a nice color on this car
I always love the opportunity to give my readers rides some shine time so keep adding those photos to the like page and emailing them in!
Being a competitor of the ever loved e30 m3 in the DTM days I initially thought that this Theme Tuesday would practically pull itself together. However I was wrong and it actually took a lot longer than I thought to get a decent collection together.
But after a few days I was able to get something going, hope you enjoy.
I love vintage track testing shots like theseNot slammed, but keepin it classyMono blocks, Mono wiperThis has to be a custom color as I have never seen a Benz like this beforeBenz answer to Bronzit?Headlight wipers are neat, regardless of how well they workSeems people from Cali often have great tasteThis one is a current build and as such is sporting saw blades and a rusted hoodOther than the smoked headlights I would rock this allllll dayI swear 190s came mostly in black!?I actually like Type A's without flat caps on this BenzDishedThis was the easiest 190 to find, go figure, looks sickAnother popular one, BBS wheels will do that to a carMoar BBSEVO IIs were half luxury car, half track monster, shame on you for thinking I forgot themI generally don't like yellow, and yet I can't help but be attracted to thisDrop dead gorgeousPristineI've posted it before, but its worth posting at least 8 more times
The second part of my coverage from the Stretch and Poke event put on by the Toronto Wrong Fitment crew. The second half contains, Nissan’s, Lexus, Volkswagen’s, Audi’s, and finally Subaru’s.
Nissans
Nissan’s came out in surprisingly small numbers to this but here’s a couple
Well used 240 on worksI've taken a lot of pictures of this car, here is another
V.A.G.
Also coming out in somewhat small numbers was V.A.G. crowd, the brought the heat regardless.
Couple Audi's hangin in the backClean CabDan brought out his black VW which came through a rough winter with some characterThis Audi wagon had killer stancelow and low
Lexus
Nothing wrong with a little VIP….
Aidan's project is300 I mentioned awhile back is coming along nicelyHe is considering going with a bigger spacer out backThis Ls400 was rollin heavyLike a bossI've been seeing this car at a distance for years in my dads neighbourhoodSo seeing it up close was a treat
Subaru’s
Most of the Toronto Wrong Fitment Crew consists of people from the Toronto Subaru club and as such there were a lot of Subaru guys holdin it down.
Nothin but love for turbo sedansThe lone Legacy wagon among a sea of WRXs and STIsHe had a few creative touches to help him stand out thoughThe sky was awesome for photos on SaturdayNo matter how many times I see it this color scheme never gets oldCleanSittin on Gramlights this Subaru had a lot of mods inside and outSpoolin Chris, from notsostock.com brought out his STII am a little jealous of how nice his stickers lookFrom the second I saw this STI I was drawn in by how bad ass it lookedFlushed on Rota GridsShot of the fitment from the rearNice flushed out STIThe illest oneWrong Fitment Crew member #416I know it's a little lost in this picture but that cf diffuser is there and it's lowFlushed STI's roll together
That’s it, that’s all, if I took some pictures of your car and you want high res hit me up via the comments or email. See you at the next one.
The weather was great and the atmosphere was awesome no drama, no competition just everyone out because they love cars, everything a good car meet should be.
Not every car had the lowest stance or most aggressive wheels (my car included) but the cars that did were on point and the cars that didn’t were still clean as hell.
Random stuff
Like I said the atmosphere of this event was great and lent itself to a few photos of this and that
The driver of this limo was walking around the meet, I wonder if he got any ideas? The only bike at the meetwelovethis.ca + illestWhile Sic Ryde did not have his A game car out he was still in attendanceThis clean MR2 is the perfect starting point for something epicNice lookin e30 m3 though the wheel weights made me sadSteezy lineup
The box
Probably one of the best fitted boxes I have ever seen in person was this one from curbed.ca
Shortly after arriving he let the air out of the sytem in the rear and brought it down to this height
The Genesis
I have not seen a lot in the GTA but I hope that changes this season
Some spacers would have this car looking even better
Evo’s
A lot of Evo guys came out, these cars are monsters.
I wonder how much negative attention that plate bringsThese cars always look so pissed off, it's greatFeed me.
Infiniti’s
Owners of Nissan’s luxury line are not afraid to get low
Clean and subtle this g35 was properThe stance and fitment on this car earned him some stickersThis G35 had a lot of poke and stretch goin onThe green inset on the wheels was a nice touch
Honda’s and Acuras
The Honda crowd came out with a lot of clean rides
Probably the cleanest Type R I have ever seenClean, low AcuraP-dizzles flush CivicThe driver of the bus in the background hated life when he had to leaveCheck out the rear fitment on this RSXTL Type S on Gramlights with a DC5 carbon diffuserI heard that this was the first Hella Flush approved car in Ontario......it is easy to see why that would be the caseLindsay bought her s2000 in Florida and had a blast driving it backSince was lucky enough to hit up the tail of the dragonGot to see that s2000 I posted up a week or two ago in personAnd this one as wellIt's friggen low
Yesterday I attended the’ Stretch and Poke’ meet presented by the Toronto Wrong Fitment Crew and had a blast. This was probably my favorite event so far this season and I will make a point to attend every event they put on because it was just an all around good vibe.
Both my girlfriend and I shot a number of photos and she was able to get her’s edited before me (big surprise I know) so here is a little taste of the meet through the lens of Elle Marie Photography.
The Curbed.ca box is one of the few first gens I have seen in the GTAAnother shot of the boxFull frontalI remember this car from last years Next Mod Season OpenerAnother shot of the 350Lyndsey is slowly starting to warm up to SkyllinesGary's wide body e46 was in attendanceEarly lineup of carsLots of Subarus, not madFavorite car of the eventDat Ass!Always a fan of this colorToronto Wrong Fitment crew representIllestSo stoked to see my sticker on this car
I like Volvos and I love low riders, but together I’m not 100% convinced it’s a good idea.
What 90% of the population thinks be-damned though since this cardomain member decided to throw caution to the wind and build the low rider he always wanted out of his 760 Turbo estate.
You have to commend him for the guts and follow through if nothing else, I kind of wonder what this car would look like with the stock interior a single color paint job, no eyelids, and different wheels.
But with all that done then it wouldn’t be this car…. well at least it hits a good 3 wheel.
Gets low...Hits 3sWonder if it hops?Classic low rider crushed velvet interiorTrunk rattlin', like two midgets in the backseat rasslin'
Site Updates
I added two new sites to the blog roll not too long ago and have not had a chance to properly introduce them so here goes.
He’s still working on getting to a layout functioning 100% but he has not been slacking on keeping the content flowing. Once you get tired of reading what I have to say check him out.
Chris Hoare, who’s a great photographer in his own right, has got a new project going with a group of photographers/writers called NotSoStock.com it replaces what was previously Automotive Exposure.
Brimming with original content NotSoStock.com is shaping up to be a big player this year.
They are also putting on Poke & Stretch here in Ontario along side the Toronto Wrong Fitment crew tomorrow at Dave and Busters.
The weather looks good so I should be there, I drive the mazda3 with the large ‘Sunday’ sticker on the windshield if you are checking for me.
Bryan’s bagged Thunderbird always sticks out in my memory because you don’t see these too often and his is a real thing of beauty.
Clean, simple, slammed
That’s it for today, I’ve got a busy weekend of house hunting, photography shows, and bmx ahead so good thing I thought ahead and got a draft ready for Monday!
Well in what seems to be an ever growing trend the owner stumbled upon the site and linked me to a picture of his car along with some more info.
Clean and functional what more could you want?
Here is what the owner, Tryte, had to say about his car:
The car gets tracked regularly through the summer. I have swapped in a blacktop 20V into it for more power. The rest is suspension tuning.
I actually host track days at Mosport DDT. We have one coming up in a week on May 23rd. The other two are on July 18th and September 12th. Here is a link for more info.
While I can’t make it out on the 23rd July 18th is looking might tempting… hmmm
