Theme Tuesdays: Honda Accords – III

The past month or so Rukus Motorsports has been running a Facebook advertising campaign that has thrust their rear wheel drive, drag prepped, seventh generation Accord into my timeline roughly eight hundred and twelve times...

Bikeguide

There's lots of talk about the demise of web forums, and though I am still a big fan of them for the information they provide and archive, I don't find myself actively participating on nearly as...

WTF Friday: Dream Ride

I don't think there's ever been a vehicle submitted more for WTF Friday than the "Logan Dream Ryder". I've seen plenty of custom third generation Camaros in my years on this earth but this one really takes...

Theme Tuesdays: The Work Of Filip Malbaša

Late 2016 Filip Malbaša sent me an email that inside included a few of the digital renders he does under the name 02turbo and asked what I thought of his work. After opening a few of the attachments...

Lost Coverage: The 2016 Autofest Nationals

In my 2016 wrap up I mentioned that moving East of Toronto put a number of new events in my reach and the Autofest Nationals is on the larger scale of those events. A twenty-three year old...

WTF Friday: Off Track

The cold makes people do weird things, especially the cold out here in Ontario that is several degrees below 0 for week-long stretches. Some people will do damn near anything to avoid having to spend time...

Theme Tuesdays: Classic Mercedes

All Killer, No Filler

While on the Los Boulevardos forums getting my fill of builds that are too late, too low rider, and too custom, I came across this really cool 61 Ford Pick up build that was cross linked to the Hokey Ass Message Board. Originally intended to be a shop truck this build snowballed after the animal faeces were removed and things turned out to be a little rougher than the builder thought.

Event Coverage: 2013 Detroit AutoRama: Pt. 2

Going through my coverage of the Detroit AutoRama, and looking at the attention to detail in all of the builds, it's hard to not want to roll my own car directly into the nearest body of water and never look back. So many of the cars are closer to works of art than they are vehicles and If I ever get to the point where I can build a car half (maybe even a quarter) as nice as those I saw in the Cobo Center on Saturday I'll die a very happy man.

Green With Envy

Two weeks ago sifting through what seemed like endless amounts of Hot Import Nights coverage I stumbled across a photo in my reader posted by eyegasmic cars that caught my eye. Intrigued I set out to find the original photo and more on the car. After tracking down photographer Scott Kroeker I was able to not only get permission to re-post the photos but also obtained the contact information of the builder Brent.
