      Kept Low

Those of you who are members of the facebook group will recognize this truck as the thumbnail for the group, it's stance and license plate made it a perfect fit. The last time I saw this '87 was at Extreme Invasion in 2009 and in that post I said it was probably one of the cleanest Blazers I had ever seen. At that show I only took three pictures of the truck even though it deserved plenty more, thankfully Mike Joe from MikeJoe.ca made up for my short comings and snapped a number of awesome photos of this truck from Performance World 2009, check em out.

      Creative Thinking

The last time I can remember thinking "cool" and "Bonneville" (not salt flats) in anything remotely close to the same thought was when a friends brother had one with a giant dent in the fender that he was going to fix in auto shop. I thought 'cool' because I knew years later I would be in that same class. My friends brother was lazy and never did a damn thing about that dent, but the owner of this Bonneville isn't lazy at all and has dropped this Black Onyx sedan on BBS Super RS's via custom suspension and updated the front end with BMW e39 headlights.

      WTF Friday: The Giving Spirit

Well, once again I would like to thank everyone who entered for another successful contest. I was able to draw out a few of you lurkers as well as find new blogs to put into my own personal reader. The three winners from the December give away are: Brent, Jen, and Ken. Check your in box for an email from myself regarding shipping. If you didn't win this time don't worry this won't be the last time SecheMedia.ca and I are hoping to do bi-monthly and eventually monthly giveaways, now onto the WTF! (Guessing contest inside)

      Some people win

Some people win and some people lose and the 034Motorsport crew is a camp that likes to win. After a very successful year in 2009 with a time attack A4, and a decent run in 2006 with another MK4, they decided to put the two in a blender and come out with this mid/rear engine 2.7T Audi powered Mk4 Golf which likes to go out on the track and hunt down more standard game (ie Miatas).

      Fancy huh

If I were to guess I would say I have had these pictures saved on my hard drive for at least 8 months and never posted them. Why I never posted these pictures before I can't say but what I can say is this MK5 looks fantastic sitting on AMG Aero II wheels looks great. Carrying the wheel color to the front bumper is a good look.

      Winter Wednesdays: Winter Saftey

Last night I attended a Winter Driving event at Grand Prix Kartways put on by Canadian Tire. The overall mission of the seminar was how to be prepared for winter driving, in short get winter tires, have a snow brush, top up your fluids, and brake early. While I knew these things already it's great to see that Canadian Tire is trying to educate more people so the chances of getting wrecked in the winter is much less. As a bonus we all got some free laps on the track at GPK, along with some other schwag.

Theme Tuesdays: E30 M3s Part II

Similar to how I did a one two VW MKII and MKI combo a couple months back I've decided to do the same with e30s by following up the second E30 Theme Tuesday with the second E30 M3 Theme Tuesday. When I was looking at the official list of cars for GT5 I was pretty shocked to see that the e30 m3 was not included. Polyphony had better fix that by December 25th when I get my copy of GT5 as this is the only way I'll be driving one. Probably.

      Race Sport

I'm not sure where I got these pictures from, and I know they are not new, but really when it comes to a car with as much heritage and race chops as the 911 Carrera RS looking at one for the 1000th time isn't really bad. Much respect goes out to the owner who showed lots of restraint and didn't go overboard on this car in any regard. Kept things nice and clean.

      Steel box

Most of the cars on the street right now are on stock wheels, or steelies due to the weather. A few brave (and fortunate) people rock a second set of aftermarket wheels but for must of us it's basic, narrow, black steelies. Steelies covered in snow and salt in the winter don't look good, in fact they look like crap, but painted, polished and widened in a valley with now snow and look pretty damn good as the following Scion Illustrates.

      The Loud Pedal

On the way home last night from hockey at around 12:30am my new skid plate hit the ground hard which knocked it 80% off and resulted in some road side hockey tape mechanics and a very, very, slow drive home to where I removed it for modification at a later date. As a result I am quire tired today and my brain is a mess so I decided to keep things simple: The loud pedal, press it and things get awesome here are 5 examples.

Winter Wednesdays: A new winter begins

The last Winter Wednesday was in March 2010 which was quite some time of ago, so long in fact that some of you may not even know what Winter Wednesdays around here are. The concept is simple on any Wednesday within a 7 day span of snow accumulation in the Mississauga/Toronto area of Ontario, Canada I will post up a lowered car in the snow.

      Who’s got more balls?

Rally racing is one hell of an automotive sport. Elevation and road surface changes are par for the course and when combined with unpredictable weather, driver fatigue, blind corners, and lots of horse power you are left with an spectacular participant and spectator sport. However you are also left with a question: Who's got more balls? The drivers running the course, or the spectators on the course?
