Point of discussion: The Boso Box

I've seen this Scion a few times in my travels in the interweb. The man behind OMG Pancakes is a big fan of this car and I get most of updates regarding it from there. The Bosozoku style is a fairly rare in North America so it's interesting to see someone with enough guts to try and tackle it but it raises the questions are we ready for this style to come here and do we even need it?

Featured Photographer: Santiago Gomez

Lately photographers to feature have been few and far between, winter has a big part to do with this as motivation to shoot cars often goes out the window when the weather outside is consistently -15 degrees below zero and all the cars are covered in salt. Luckily while browsing the Union Auto Club blog I stumbled across a talented photographer named Santiago Gomez.

WTF Friday: Cars on truck frames

Awhile back I saw some wild lifted cars on the Outlaw videos site (which was linked to on the cardomain blog) and they amused me so I saved the pictures. I know lifted cars are nothing new but sometimes you have to wonder if they are worth the effort involved. Either way over the past few months I came across these pretty often so I figure WTF Friday was a way better way than Theme Tuesday to share them.

Double Build Update

Looks like Christmas was good to some this year as two of the builds I have been sharing got pretty significant updates over the winter holiday, both the M-tricks Autosports 2002 build and Pat Cyr's F20 AE86 build were updated so let's take a look at what's been done.

Theme Tuesdays: Pics with attitude

The concept of theme Tuesdays here on Stance Is Everything is simple, every Tuesday I pick a theme and post a collection of vehicles with that theme that meet the stance criteria (modified suspension that suit the vehicles intent). This weeks theme Tuesday topic is: Pictures with attitude

Pat is getting cyrious

My drifter friend Pat Cyr has decided that next year is his year to go hard, all this time I thought he was going hard already so now that he says its really time to go hard I am a little worried for the competition. With his new mindset he decided that his trusty AE86 needs a full rebuild and a new heart for this season, lurking on facebook has allowed me to keep track of what he has been up to. Serious things are going down.

Readers Rides: 09/17/2009

I love getting email to the [email protected] account with pictures of readers cars that they would like to see on the site. It's a cool feeling to run something you guys and girls want to be a part of and help gain more exposure. If these two cars are any indication of the caliber of rides my readers drive than I look forward to seeing a lot more.

Pat’s killing it

I've mentioned Pat Cyr before and when this video popped up in my facebook feed this morning I knew I would end up posting it sometime today. The amount of driving skill Pat has is pretty mind boggling so it's good to see it getting some exposure across the boarder.

Working with what you’ve got

Sometimes in life you just have to work with what you've got and other times you have to improvise and this is true of the car hobby. Not all of us have a say in what we currently drive and some of us willingly choose to drive something a little left of the norm. Regardless resourceful automotive folk are, well, resourceful automotive folk and while some are quick to pass over whatever is currently sitting in their driveway, shop, or yard others are willing to work with what they have got. Today's cars are examples of just that.

Some from the reserves

Not, not the armed reserves, my reserve of photos that I have saved from here and there for days when I don't have quite enough time to pop off something 100% local or 100% original. This weekend basically went a little pear shaped after my car failed it's E-test and since my license expires tomorrow it has spilled over into a problem I need to deal with today, however, that's no reason to leave my readers hanging.

Absolutely Stuffed

I thought I posted this car before after I saw it on Jon Sibals blog but it doesn't seem as though I did, and if I did it's worth looking at again. Whenever you think that you might not be able to go lower refer to this post. This car is stuffed beyond belief and the front bumper still looks minty fresh, let's all take notes shall we?
