SEMA Showstopper

      SEMA Showstopper: Project Tarantula

In the first batch of SEMA photos from Performance Improvements I ear marked a few cars for 2017 SEMA Showstopper mini features and the car that undoubtedly deserved lead off honors was Treadwear.com's 'Project Tarantula'. What is...

      SEMA Showstopper: American Express

To some --those with business degrees perhaps-- the American Motors Corporation will be famous as one of the largest US corporate mergers of the 1950s. For enthusiasts AMC is noteworthy because of interesting, and capable...

      SEMA Showstopper: Dangerous Canadian

SEMA is a massive show with cars from literally all over the globe so Canadian builds are not all that uncommon, but even still I always feel a sense of National pride when I see...

SEMA Showstopper: Quit Your Bitchin’, sincerely Welderup

What better way to end the SEMA 2014 coverage than with a closer look at the builds produced by Las Vegas based Welderup? Welderup is a name I'm sure all of you are familiar with, even if...

SEMA Showstpper: Double Down Double Up

Fuller Hot Rods has achieved a Stance Is Everything first; SEMA Showstopper honours two years in a row. What's it take to achieve such an award? Well start building an awesome AWD bare metal '32...

SEMA Showstopper: Ring Brothers Do It Again

When it comes to builders that leave no bolt un-turned, The Ring Brothers are one of the best. I'm not exactly sure what is in the water (or cheese) in Wisconsin, but whatever substance it is...

      SEMA Showstopper: 86’d The Competition

Having three media houses go head-to-head building the best FR-S possible is a stroke of marketing genius and with pride, reputation, and the respect of their fanbase on the line it was guaranteed that GT...

SEMA Showstopper: Fuller Hot Rods Double Down

Rob from Performance Improvements shot me a message yesterday that he was wrapping up his photos from SEMA 2013 and to let him know if there was anything specific I wanted photos of. Without a moments hesitation I said I need (not want) more photos of the all wheel drive '32 Ford I've seen kicking around.

      SEMA Showstopper: Ring Brothers Producer

Picking a car to end the 2012 SEMA coverage with wasn't exactly an easy task but I think this Ring Brothers built 65 Fastback is a fairly solid choice. Known as "The Producer" it's one of the best all round Mustang builds I have ever seen and the recipient of this years Goodguys Optima Batteries Street Machine of the Year award.

      SEMA Showstopper: 36-24-36

A couple weeks ago I was at my mom's place flipping through an old issue of Ride BMX when I stopped on a photo of former Schwinn sponsored pro flatlander Andrew Faris doing a half...

      SEMA Showstopper: unfuckwithable

The last time RWB was mentioned here was almost exactly a year ago in a post titled "RW Who?" that showcased this  DP Motorsport built  73 911. Then Rauh Welt Begriff had  brought  two extremely popular builds to SEMA --the now  black Pandora One 965 and the 965 Hoonigan-- and everyone who was anyone was photographing, posting, tweeting,  and just generally carrying on about those cars several times a day.

      SEMA Showstopper: Jake’s Genesis

When I posted a photo of Jake's Genesis on the fanpage  many of you commented saying it was one of the best Gens currently rolling the streets and that I should go back for a closer look at the motor, interior, and trunk. I'm not one to argue with my readers so each time I passed the car I made an effort to notice something different and after doing so I would have to agree that it's one of the nicest Genesis builds I have seen to date.
