This FD’s got an LS1 under the hood, I have not seen it but I am willing to take Matt at Farm of Minds word for it because why would he lie?
Even if this FD doesn’t have an LS-1 under the hood aesthetically it’s pretty mean with it’s functional stance, high contrast bright green Enkei RPF-1s, and subtle body modifications.
This color has me thinking all different about getting RPF1sLooking for preyWish I knew the wheel specs on this car, does it look like a square setup to you guys? One of the best rollers I have seen in awhile
I was surfing JDMR the other day and I noticed that the red DC in this post is up for sale/being parted while the white one is going under the knife for a 2011 transformation. This means that these photos, which are not all that old, are now time capsules of the last time these cars wore their Mugen inspired look.
I’m not sure what the owners plan to do next but judging by what they have already accomplished it’s safe to say that what they are pushing in 2010 will look at least this good.
Both of these cars are as clean in person as they are in the pictures. I’ve seen the red one first hand and and have spent lots of time reading the build on the white one and several people have vouched for its cleanliness.
Candy red lips match pretty wellRespect to the owner for keeping those massive side skirts scratch freeFront plate law FTL.If red isn't your style how about some whiteWhite on white done rightRega's are awesomePick your poisonLike the composition of this shot a lotWonder how these two will end up for next season
It appears that when men were men they drove the snot out of open wheel cars in open faced helmets with not a care in the world.
I have no idea what sort of race series these photos came from, and no idea what type of cars they are but I know they needed to be shared with more people.
Check the staggered tire size out rear... or is it staggered tire amountThe look of determination on his face let's you know he means businessExplanation needed... anyone? This looks to be a current race series of classic cars judging by the updated bucket
Here in GTA it’s just been cold, so that I don’t even want to bother setting up my new snowboard, the board which I am reminded of not because of the weather but because Eric has two strapped to the roof of his beater in this Mike Joe photo shoot.
While these pictures are from last year that doesn’t make them any less impressive. Mikes a trooper for setting up a fully legit photoshoot in what was no doubt a very cold night.
Snow packed steelies are mandatory winter attireWho says you have to lift your car for the winter? Just plowThat name again is Mr. PlowThis is just a nice photo.
I think the MKIII Supra is slept on. Sure the MK4 that came after was a big success, and yes MKIII’s may have had head gasket problems, but I’ll be damned if they can’t look good in the right hands.
The wedge like body shape and pop up headlights are great indicators of the time period the car came from, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Start things off with a bang, this car looks greatThis car deserves a better photoFairly aggressive pull all aroundMore MkIIIThe Perfect exposure always delivers. This color reminds me of Smokeys Nagatas MK5Big wing, clean carEquips, how I want you soKillerDamn, this car is clean as hell!Another very, very, clean carThe classic white on whiteBlack is beautifulSuper AdvansMore Super AdvansRisky DevilAss out
Those of you who are members of the facebook group will recognize this truck as the thumbnail for the group, it’s stance and license plate made it a perfect fit. The last time I saw this ’87 was at Extreme Invasion in 2009 and in that post I said it was probably one of the cleanest Blazers I had ever seen.
At that show I only took three pictures of the truck even though it deserved plenty more, thankfully Mike Joe from MikeJoe.ca made up for my short comings and snapped a number of awesome photos of this truck from Performance World 2009, check em out.
This truck owned by, Sean Johnston of Keswick Ontario who is part of COMMON GROUND.
I like that the owner kept the body line on the truck instead of shaving it offLayin rocker like a champShot of the rag up top, rag tops are serious commitmentThis interior is just a tad bit better than what came factory in 86Really it makes sense this truck has one of the cleanest interiors I've seen in a BlazerThe suspension setup is covered by this window which is on actuators, its an awesome way to show off what was doneLast but certainly not least
The last time I can remember thinking “cool” and “Bonneville” (not salt flats) in anything remotely close to the same thought was when a friends brother had one with a giant dent in the fender that he was going to fix in auto shop. I thought ‘cool’ because I knew years later I would be in that same class.
My friends brother was lazy and never did a damn thing about that dent, but the owner of this Bonneville isn’t lazy and has dropped this Black Onyx sedan on BBS Super RS’s via custom suspension and updated the front end with BMW e39 headlights.
I’ve gotta say for starting as a ho hum family sedan this turned into a car that looks pretty clean, I bet you could hide a huge system in the giant trunk as well.
This car gets low via DIY coilovers up front and custom springs out backWhile the headlights didn't just drop in they look great now.RS FTWNo wheel gap, but still lots of ground clearance, interestingWell played sir
A big hats off to the owner for putting work into a platform which most people would have easily dismissed as ‘not worth it’.
Well, once again I would like to thank everyone who entered for another successful contest. I was able to draw out a few of you lurkers as well as find new blogs to put into my own personal reader.
The three winners from the December give away are: Brent, Jen, and Ken. Check your in box for an email from myself regarding shipping. If you didn’t win this time don’t worry this won’t be the last time SecheMedia.ca and I are hoping to do bi-monthly and eventually monthly giveaways, now onto the WTF!
High Hoppin Rabbit
I have to admit I am a little conflicted here. Part of me knows this is wrong and that I shouldn’t like it, while another part of me knows it’s wrong and thus wants to drive the living hell out of it.
The drapes over the suspension is a little weird...Aside from the lack of lights it looks streetable with that low mounted bumperAny 4x4 guys able to identify what this sits on?
What kind of ships are these
I’ve been working on a ‘Land Yacht’ Theme Tuesday and in the process I’ve realized that my knowledge of large American vehicles is pretty sparse outside of your typical muscle car fare so I decided to give you guys a crack at identifying these.
I am sure this won’t be a challenge for some of you so the first correct responses win a set of url stickers.
This car is beautifulParallel parking this would be a bit of a task
Site Updates
The biggest update I have site wise is that in the last 30 days this little blog that could received just shy of 100 thousand page views, using up 400GB of bandwidth in the process, which means it was number 1 with a bullet on my hosting companies radar.
This is booth good and bad, good in the sense that I’ve been able to provide something interesting to read for a ton of car enthusiasts world wide, and bad because now I have to work out a new hosting package deal.
Thankfully my current host (ParaFx) is great and has been kind enough to give me a nice grace period to figure out what the heck I am going to do.
My goal is to have the transfer to a new hosting be as seamless and pain free as possible, and don’t worry this blog isn’t going to die.
Flashback Friday
With the holiday season officially here I am looking to do another round of ‘The 12 Autoblogs of Christmas‘ I am not sure whether or not I am going to do one post again like last year or split them up into 12 parts leading up to December 25th (if I do go this route I should probably start compiling a short list soon).
Anyway here is last years edition if you missed it.
If you are going to find other autoblogs you might as well find them from me 🙂
Some people win and some people lose and the 034Motorsport crew is a camp that likes to win.
After a very successful year in 2009 with a time attack A4, and a decent run in 2006 with another MK4, they decided to put the two in a blender and come out with this mid/rear engine 2.7T Audi powered Mk4 Golf which likes to go out on the track and hunt down more standard game (ie Miatas).

And now, because pictures are worth more than words, behold:
