The cat came back

Remember that gorgeous Audi A3 wagon I posted not too long ago? The one in front of the incredibly awesome cat mural and owned by a fellow rider? Well it's back and now slammed thanks to a fresh, clean air ride install. Bags can't be cheating because this car is winning.

Hatch Life

I've had these two hatches on my hard drive for awhile now and even though they are from complete opposite ends of the spectrum modification wise I decided to post them together. Now if I could only remember where I found them...

We could of got these….

I remember the first time I was on a message board and saw someone speak highly of a Ford Escort, I thought they were crazy, until they posted a picture. It was then I realized that for whatever reason the North American market really got the shaft when it came to Escorts. We could have got something cool.

Event Preview: CSCS Xtreme Tuner Challenge 2010

Chris from CSCS (Canadian Sport Compact Series) was kind enough to remind and invite me to the upcoming CSCS event at Cayuga Motorsports park August 22nd. I had a great time last year because not only was it my first time at Cayuga but it was also my first time seeing a legal drift event. I'm looking forward to attending again this year and taking in the drag racing, drifting, time attack, and lapping events in addition to the diverse show and shine.

Theme Tuesdays: Fellow BMX Riders

I like cars, this info is not new to any of you, I also really like to ride BMX and if for whatever reason I had to pick between the two I would probably chose the latter. However, I don't see having to choose anytime soon so I have decided for this Theme Tuesday to combine my two interests and post cars owned by fellow riders.

Event Preview: NextMod One Year Anniversary

Local tuner shop, and Stance Is Everything sponsor, Next Mod is having it's one year anniversary meet this Sunday August 15th from 1pm - 5pm. Every meet at Next Mod is sure to be packed with vehicular eye candy since the crew at the shop always provides free drinks and BBQ'd food for those in attendance and if there is one way to get people to come out it's with free food.

Some low guy

sumTHAIguy on Mazda 3 forums has always had a pretty low speed3, and he's gone through a number of wheels since I first started paying attention to his ride. Recently he changed both his front suspension setup and wheels and in my eyes really dialed in his stance. Using the same smaller lock rings and cartridges from BC that I am he added a custom shorter spring up front (4" vs 6.7") to the mix and his now able to tuck tire on his Work Ryver DT4's.

DIY: Fiberglass lip repair

When you ride low, no matter how careful you are things are going to: hit the ground, get scraped, get dented, dinged and otherwise damaged. Most of these things happen away from prying eyes (oil pans, frame rails, sub-frames, cats, mufflers, etc) but every once and awhile a visible piece like a lip or side skirt to feel the pain. Having these things repaired professionally time after time, can get quite expensive so a lot of us end up having a go at fixing the damage ourselves. Repairs like these are a great way to get your hands dirty in regards to body work since there is little to no risk of making the problem worse.

WTF Friday: Rocket Powered Go Kart!?

I go to a lot of car shows, as you probably already know from my event coverage, and doing so I see a lot of crazy things: insane and interesting motor swaps, slammed International trucks, and lots of scantily clad women are pretty much par for the course. However what is not par for the course is what I saw at last Saturdays Street Classics Cruise In. While slowly making my way outward from the ice cream truck I saw an older looking go kart sitting on the ground beside a Jr Dragster.

April sticker giveaway

When I met with Mat from Seche Media last weekend to pick up the new product for the store he surprised me with a couple test prints of a design based on one of the most creative uses of the I Like Em' Dropped sticker I have ever seen. While I plan to do a somewhat limited run of these in the future giving away the first print along with some of the stickers from the Seche Media catalog seems like a good idea.

Small Scale Stance

Being the holidays I've been at my moms place the past few days and therefore away from Stance H.Q. I didn't have much time to be bouncing from forum to forum and blog to blog looking for new content nor did I feel like cluttering up her computer with photos of cars she won't appreciate. So I made due with what I had (my iphone and creativity) and figured that perhaps some of you might be interested in my latest model car project that's been hiding in the depths of my moms basement waiting for me to finish. Hopefully this will be the year I actually finish...

WTF Friday: Causing A Ruckus

I'm not really the biggest Honda Ruckus fan, I mean they look kind of neat modified, but I think people always look a little weird riding one. I am however a big fan of however are 'large motor in a small vehicle-are you sure this was a good idea-how the hell are we going to stop this thing-watch out for that pole' type projects such as this.

There's lots of talk about the demise of web forums, and though I am still a big fan of them for the information they...
