The Purple Pontiac Redux

In 2011 I spotted an outstanding '62 Pontiac Laurentian at Performance World, then later that year the Fleetwood Country Cruise In. The owner contacted me later on and I actually re-edited the photos and posted...

WTF Friday: Another Single Shot Kill

I know, I know, one photo WTF Friday, again. Sorry. But I spent a fair chunk of time trying to find more on this C4/Countach creation and came up with nothing. One can only assume it...

Product Review: 3D Products HD Polish

As most of you know my past two cars have been daily drivers, snow, rain, and sun they have seen it all. They also spend a decent amount of time sitting in parking lots fairly...

Vossen Wheels/Importfest Downtown Lexus Pop Up Meet

Importfest is in full promo mode leading up to their August 22nd event and this past weekend they held a pop up Vossen Wheels Meet pop up the roof top of Lexus Downtown. The idea of this...

Heavy Hitter

Tim and Brenda's Cruise for the Cure is a show I've wanted to go to for a few years but somehow always managed to miss for some reason or another. If you've noticed 2015 is...

Theme Tuesdays: Recently Viewed – July 2015

Last 'recently viewed' post I talked about making this a monthly feature here on the site and completely managed to skip over June. Hrm. Let's shoot for bi-monthly minimum this time around and hope that I...

Event Coverage: Toronto Cars & Coffee – July

Years ago when I first heard of Cars and Coffee in California it sounded like the perfect event for me despite the fact that I absolutely despise coffee. The variety of cars, and atmosphere just...

Banned In Quebec: Matt Brunett’s IS300

In 2014 the SAAQ (Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec) released an amended list of regulations that all cars travelling Quebec roads need to abide by. Dubbed the 'Hellaflush' act many of the new rules strictly out lined...

WTF Friday: Hot Tub Time Machine

At the Tim and Brenda's Place charity show this weekend I took a step back in time via a hot tub just like the guys in the surprisingly funny movie Hot Tub Time Machine. The twist? This...

WTF Friday: Poor Benz

It's not really a secret that I don't like Donks, I don't really see what there is to like about them and I'm quite thankful that around here they are few and far between. For those of you from the Southern States I feel for you as I could not imagine seeing rides like these on a regular basis, this poor Kompressor never stood a chance.

Winter Wednesdays: an argument for ABS plastic and not fiberglass

Every year when winter comes around I have taken the lips off my cars, I take the one of my Mazda because it is fiberglass which gets really brittle in the cold, and I took the air dam of my e30 because I spent way to much time fixing that just to have some cold water mess it up again. If I had a nice non damaged ABS example like I can only assume this civic owner does maybe I could leave my lip on...

Rotary work out

Local Toronto rotary driver Mike has had his RX-8 for a little while now and recently decided to raise the RX-8 bar in Toronto by installing a brand new set of 19x8.5 (+38) and 19x10(+36) Work VS-XX rims wrapped in 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 Yokohama S-drive tires. To keep his car from looking like a 4x4 on his ballin new set of wheels he brought the height down with a set of Tien Flex coilovers.

Winter Wednesdays: Jaw dropping

I love hot rod guys, something about their mentality makes them different than the rest of us. It's this mentality that allows them to create the cars I like to drool over then take them out in the snow just to blow my mind. The first car I am posting today probably doesn't see much winter driving, the second looks like it was just parked for the winter and then snow fell on it, but the third is reported to be a daily driver.

WTF Friday: Nashty

I mentioned in Mondays coverage from the Street Classics season opener that the teal Nash Metropolitan present was the first I had seen in some time in stock form motor and all. Most of the Nash Metropolitans visible online and at shows (at least in my experience) are heavily modified just like this one currently up for auction on ebay.
