Event Coverage: Megaspeed 2014 – Part 3

Drake Nolte contributed so many awesome Megaspeed Custom Car Show photos this year that I couldn't limit the coverage to only two posts. Many of these cars have been in the previous two rounds of coverage,...

Event Coverage: Megaspeed 2014 – Part 2

As mentioned in part one of this year's Megaspeed Coverage the show itself was a little bit smaller than last year, but since it houses imports, euros, trucks, muscle cars, rat rods, and hot rods...

Theme Tuesday: Limos

As I am sure many of you have noticed a few of the more recent Theme Tuesday posts have been a little oddball. The reason for this is that while your typical chassis, or model, based...

Event Coverage: Megaspeed 2014 – Part 1

When Megaspeed replaced Performance World in 2012 they ended up sliding their feet into some pretty big shoes, and this year it was fairly evident that those big loafers still didn't quite fit right. Despite an...

Fitted Lifestyle Archives

The internet has dubbed Thursday (along with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) a day in which we look back, so for this week's #throwbackthursday I took the time to compile an archive of the Stance Is...

Winter Wednesdays: This Is The End?

According to the disembodied voices on the television without pictures winter officially ends tonight. However with the winter we've had thus far I wouldn't be rushing to put your summer wheels on any time soon as...

Theme Tuesdays: The Kids Are All Right

This post has been in the works ever since my wife and I got the good news that we were expecting because I instantly I had visions of lowering some sort of child sized people...

Event Coverage: The 2014 Detroit AutoRama

The Detroit Autorama is a completely unique show experience because it covers such a broad spectrum of classic car, truck, and hot rod builds. You've got your several hundred thousand dollar, no expense spared, shop based,...

WTF Friday: Wild Wild Horses

Event Coverage: Performance World 2011: Pt. 2

Here is the rest of the Performance World coverage I was hoping to have up yesterday before the day spiraled wildly out of control. There are enough pictures in this post to warrant two but I decided to just get them all up at once instead of having you guys wait even longer. The mini trucks and classics make up most of today's post with a few random images dropped in. If you thought Performance World this year was lacking that just means you didn't spend enough time in the vast section of classics.

Two Local Heart Transplants

I've never been a vehicle purist, I am all about doing whatever it takes to get your vehicle to suit your needs, if a motor from another company fits under the hood of your car and can make more power cheaper than one of it's parent brand then by all means put it in there. If you are a die hard Honda Hatch fan and an RWD vehicle fan at the same time and the only way to combine the two means sacrificing a clean CRX shell that a lot of people would pay good money for than so be it. As long as the end result is better than what it started as then why not cut, weld, and modify? I love off the wall builds and these two are some of the GTA's finest.

Sticker’d

As most of you know I did the first free run of 50 stickers not too long ago and the demand for them was much higher than I expected. When I got the first batch done I figured that 40 would go locally and 10 world wide but I couldn't have been more wrong. Most of the stickers went outside of Canada and into the United States, and one set even went to New Zealand. As I've probably said before it's an awesome feeling knowing that people all over the world are down with this blog and want to help represent it, here are some photos of people doing just that all around the world.

Theme Tuesdays: VW Harlequins

VW Harlequins are pretty interesting little cars. Like most people the first time I saw one I thought it was some sort of joke and was pretty surprised to learn that they were actually a limited run of Golfs by VW. I don't think any other car company would have had the guts to produce a car that looks like this, and I don't think any fanatics other than VW guys could make them look good.

Theme Tuesdays: On The Bumper

The way I see it there are two ways to put a car up on it's bumper. A talented person with a switch box manipulating the flow of hydraulic fluid, or raw stump pulling power. In my opinion both are awesome and as such both are showcased in today's post, enjoy.
