      SEMA Showstopper: Slammed Box

Today's showstopper is recently appeared on Slammed Society, and one of Lyndsey's favorites from SEMA. Sitting practically in a corner away from a lot of the hustle & bustle this Scion Xb might have been easy to miss if it wasn't for the super white, almost glowing, paint and the very wide 17×10.5 and 17x 11.5 BBS RS wheels with teal centers.

      SEMA Showstopper: The Big Job

Previously I mentioned that I had a few different plans for some of the in depth vehicle and booth coverage I got from this years SEMA event. Dubbed 'SEMA Show Stoppers' these are the things that stopped me in my tracks and demand further attention. Today's SEMA show stopper is the 'Big Job' which is a 1956 Ford F-750 merged with a Chevy HD chassis that was brought to the show by Dieselwheels.com and Insane Kustoms.

      Event Coverage: SEMA Part 2

At this point we are all done the shooting at SEMA and now all I have to do is sort through the 100's of photos to give you guys the best of what I've got. In addition to standard Event Coverage, like today's, from SEMA (which now has it's own category) I have a few special types of posts in mind for some of the more in depth coverage I've got.

      Event Coverage: SEMA Part 1

The first day at SEMA was intense, the show basically blew me away in every regard. It's larger than I could have imagined. If you think you have anyway of getting out to one of these do what you can to make it happen, it's a car enthusiasts paradise. Each hall is massive and the parking lot out front of the show is the size of a large car show never mind the multiple halls that actually make up the event. Today's coverage is a small lot that was behind the Center Hall that was all Source Media Interlink feature cars.

      Bagged e30 Touring

Today is a holiday (Thanksgiving) here in Canada so I figured I should make the best of it and double up on the posts, and since I already posted one bagged BMW today why not another? I spotted this bagged e30 touring on a forum a couple of months ago and was recently stumbled upon it again and remembered how much I liked it. Bagged e30s are still pretty uncommon so do see someone do this to a touring, and keep it clean, is a real treat.

      Unavoidable

I told myself I wasn't going to write about the latest version of this car. Not because I don't like it, but because Speedhunters did it, Fatlace did it, and even Jalopnik did it. This post has sat as a draft for about two weeks while I tried to decide if my input was at all necessary. After reading a comment calling this car 'nothing more than a POS' in a thread titled 'How much time did this guy waste' I found myself coming back because while a lot of people love the car, a vast number of people hate it and while everyone is entitled to their own opinion many are missing the point.

      Event Coverage: S&P 3 – Sayonara Summer

On Sunday October 3rd in odd, but appropriate, weather the GTA car community said Sayonara to Summer with an event put on by the good people at Stretch and Poke. When I showed up (late) some of cars had come and gone but from the coverage I have seen on the Scraped Crusaders and courtesy of Gawa on JDMR the event was a great success.

      Theme Tuesday: MKII Golfs

I was over on Supermade last night looking at all the nice Volkswagens he posts when it hit my like a brick that I had yet do do a Theme Tuesday dedicated solely to the MKII Golf. I can't believe it's taken me this long, these cars a staple of the low lifestyle and are always at shows and meets.

Event Coverage CSCS 2010 Finale – Part 3

Even though this show was just last weekend with the way the weather has changed (and the amount of time it's taken me to post all of the parts) it seems like so long ago. Most of the cars in today's coverage are probably stored away by now or will soon be in winter mode so here is a look at one of the last show and shines of the season.

      Guest Event Coverage: WCN 2010

I decided to take a quick break from the CSCS coverage for a moment and live vicariously through Tucson AZ native Will (@solefoodOG), who you might remember as the owner a very low bug from the friendly rivalry post in 2009. Will recently picked up a bagged Ranger and took it and his camera to the 2010 West Cost Nationals, and being the nice guy that he is sent me the link to his flickr so I could run some of his photos.

      WTF Friday: Skynoma?

Being a member of s10forum I am not really sure how I missed this build where an s10 owner put an rb20det in an s10 but I did. I had no idea this even happened until I saw a video clip on my friend Jesse's new blog Dorimoto and my interest was peaked.

Windows no tints, cars, no rims…

With certain cars sometimes to make a heard turner all you need to do is drop them to the ground, the cars which usually respond best to the 'just slam' treatment are ones that are normally not in the hands of people who would put them on the ground. Visually this Benz has no other modifications than a healthy drop, and if it never received anything else it would still look great.
