Sunday’s Refined: Curated Sunday Special

I have no problem admitting that I’ve become a bit more guarded with my time. A lot of my recent event coverage reflects that. These...

Event Coverage: Honda Tech 2010

Last year was my first Honda Tech event and I was blown away by the quality of cars that were there. For a long time Honda's were not the cleanest cars around so it was really refreshing to see so many nice ones in one area along with all of the other clean cars that came out. Because of my move the previous day my time at the show was short and sweet and while I didn't show up during it's peak but I was still able to get a lot of shots of the action and, thankfully, the time I showed up it had cooled down slightly as it was a scorcher.

The latest from Cyrious productions

I survived the move, the lifting, and the sketchy U-haul, but I still have lots and lots of stuff left to do around the house. In between lifting, unpacking and cleaning I am going to edit my photos from yesterdays Honda-Tech 2010 (should be up this evening) but as much as your employers would like I can't leave you guys without something Monday morning so here is the latest effort from Dan Cyr 10 minutes of awesome drift coverage featuring his brother Pat and the rest of the pack from the DMC.

WTF Friday: Autozone parts catalog exploded

Ever wonder what would happen if someone went to your local automotive parts store (Canadian Tire, Autozone, Pepboys etc), picked up the accessory catalog, and proceeded to order, then install 90% of the products listed regardless of whether or not the properly fit their vehicle? Well even if the above scenario has never crossed your mind this s10 is an accurate representation of what happens. This trucks got a lot going on and unfortunately none of it good.

Event Coverage August 22nd CSCS 2010 Pt 3

Here is the third and final set of coverage from the August 22nd CSCS at Cayuga Motorsports park. Today is nothing but drifting so if you like your cars sideways this is for you. I was able to improve quite a bit over the drifting shots I took at last years event so I am really looking forward to shooting some more at DMCC and the next round of CSCS.

Event Coverage August 22nd CSCS 2010 Pt 2

The road track at Cayuga was pretty busy all day with lapping, time attack, and drifting going on. The number of events resulted in a capture card full of tons of photos and while I could have posted everything up today I've decided to break up the track coverage as well for those on phones/sketchy wifi. This post contains photos of the the time attack event and a few cars I missed from yesterdays show & shine coverage, as well as a teaser of tomorrows coverage which will be nothing but drift action.

Theme Tuesdays: I like mine with no shine

Sorry this one is a little late getting out the door, but look on the bright side you have been that much more productive at work today. With vinyl wraps becoming more prevalent there are a lot more cars coming out with matte finishes. I'm a fan of the look however it's done but big props to those who do it flawlessly with paint.

Event Coverage August 22nd CSCS 2010 Pt 1

Sunday August 22nd 2010 was a busy day for the GTA automotive community. Three events took place simultaneously (Vagkraft, Meeting of The Mazdas, and CSCS:Xtreme Tuner Challenege) and depending on your location you were anywhere from damp to soaked as the weather didn't want any of these things to happen. Thankfully in Cayuga at CSCS the weather actually wasn't too bad for most of the day, a little damp at times but for the most part dry and great for photos.

Euro Rods

To hold you guys over until I get a chance to start rolling out my CSCS coverage here are some Euro Rods courtesy of 'go kart tire fitment ,ollie'. Ollie admits that he is not the biggest fan of traditional America Rods (because they typically don't handle well) but he is a big fan of these. I have not see a whole lot of euro rods before so I enjoyed these, hopefully you do too.

Random Dopeness: Volume 5

I've had some issues before with scheduled posts and since the week before and after my move might be kind of hectic I thought I should probably get the bugs worked out before hand. If all goes to plan this edition of Random Dopeness should go up as I am at the Next Mod 1 year anniversary meet. *crosses fingers* Well it didn't go to plan and this is one week late, better late than never!
