Theme Tuesdays: Cadillacs

This weekend I was watching Donnie Brasco and the Cadillac vs Lincoln debate combined with the sheer number of Caddys used in the movie set today's Theme Tuesday in motion. No real year, or model sub theme just a small collection of low cars adorned with the Cadillac emblem.

Berlina

For whatever reason I've always found cars not available here in Canada intriguing regardless of what their actual build quality or reputation is. One such example of this are Opels, this isn't the first time I've posted an Opel of this vintage, and probably won't be the last. Somewhat bland at stock height Commodores start to look a whole lot better lower to the ground and fitted with a tasteful set of wheels.

WTF Friday: Caterpillar Rod

One of the things I like most about hot rodding is that (unless you are building a traditional) there are no rules. Motor, chassis, wheels whatever, all up to the owner. This Caterpillar hot rod is...

Car Crazy Canada’s Best and Stance Is Everything

One of the goals I've set for 2013 is to develop more partnerships with local, like minded, businesses and enthusiasts. So far this year I've been fortunate enough to work with Air Lift Performance and today I'm happy to announce a partnership with Meguair's Canada and their Car Crazy Canada's Best Contest.

Theme Tuesdays: I wish I took photos like….

As someone who likes to take photos it's only natural that I like to look at photos and today's Theme Tuesday is a partial list of photographers who inspire me in some way or form. This isn't a...

Don’t Sleep

Back when the site was in its infancy one of the first people outside of Canada to submit photos was Julian. Known online as Sleepy Wagon Julian owned an immaculate low, flush, Impreza wagon that always sat perfect no matter what wheels were under it. Currently Julian whips an Lexus LS400 and in his signature fashion it's not only low and fitted, it's exceptionally clean.

WTF Friday: What is this? I don’t even?

It's been awhile (a long while actually) since there's been a WTF Friday 'name that car' challenge so when I recently stumbled upon these gems I knew the time was right. The first person to correctly identify all of these artistic interpretations of standard auto mobiles will win a prize pack of items from The Stance Is Everything Store.

Event Coverage: Vegas Drift 2013 – Round 2

Mike McConnell is a bit of a travelling man and his latest voyage took him to the City of Sin for the second round of the 2013 Vegas Drift Series. Vegas Drift is a yearly grass roots Pro Am series that draws drifters from all around who are looking for some tire shredding fun. The second round of the 2013 series took place over Easter weekend and it looks like conditions couldn't have been better.

Theme Tuesday: New Wheel Companies Part – 2

About three quarters of the way through writing last weeks Theme Tuesday I realized that there was no way to fit all of the companies I wanted into a post of reasonable length. What I didn't realize is how well received that post would be! I was honestly a little worried it would flop, now I might have to look into doing parts 3 and maybe for further down the road.

Go Speed Go!

Hey everyone, just a heads up if you notice some weirdness on the page today its because I am trying to diagnose and fix some speed issues (14 seconds to load wtf?). Trying to get this page down to a 7 sec 1/4 mile so sorry if there is any temporary fires, shouldn't be too long and I will update this post when everything is fixed up. Update: Cut load times in half, back to the show.

Theme Tuesdays: Girls With Hot Rides 2

The last girls with Hot Rides Theme Tuesday here was nearly all cars found on various blogs and message boards on the net. This time around in addition to perusing the forums I decided to poll some of my female readers for submissions on facebook and twitter. As it turns out I have quite a few female readers with clean cars ranging from lowered to slammed, and naturally aspirated to boosted.

Kept Low, Kept Forever

Sean Johnston has his Blazer almost 30 years and in my opionion it's one of the best bagged and body dropped examples to come out of Ontario.

Bounce and Boom

This Mk5 Fiesta is one of is one of the more unique builds I have come across this month and part of this is because we don't get this flavor of Fiesta in North America. However, the rest of the reasons I like this car have nothing to do with this cars availability to me and everything to do with the owners choice in modifications. For example when was the last time you saw a car with hydraulic suspension that didn't have wires?

Worth A Watch: Lacing The Ghia Roof

Mike McConnell's Karmann Ghia is an impressive build on all fronts, but one of the things that has always intrigued me about it is...
