Not sure if want

Minitruckers are no strangers to wild front end swaps, some turn out great and some turn out not so great. I stumbled across this s10 Blazer with a c10 front end when I was pulling together this weeks 'no shine' Theme Tuesday and thought it was worthy of a post of its own outside of that due to how unique it is. This front end manages to be a huge departure from the standard Blazer front end but not look entirely out of place once you get over the initial shock.

Winter Wednesdays: Ready For Whatever

Gotta hand it to Volkswagen guys, especially air cooled drivers, because they prove time and time that nothing phases them. Low + Snow? No problem Low + Snow + Ragtop? Snow problem there either. Makes me feel like a sissy for using the heat in my car.

Theme Tuesdays: I Like Mine With No Shine – part 2

2010. That post was made up of mostly black cars and with a couple cars switched out it could have easily passed for a 'murdered out' Theme Tuesday. This go round I took a little more time picking out the cars to include and pulled together a wider variety of cars including modern, euro, and the cars mysteriously missing from the last post, classics.

Beard Life

This 240sx is one of the cleanest S-Chassis builds I have ever seen. Aesthetically and mechanically this car is basically flawless and an improvement in every regard to the way the car came from the factory. Built by a talented family of auto enthusiasts (grandfather through to grand son) it is a great example of what can be done if you have the means and do not cut corners. I recently found out the owner of this car is a fellow BMX rider and that was the final push I needed to post this car up.

WTF Friday: Turbo Dodge

The requested 'Turbo Dodge' Theme Tuesday has honestly been one of the most challenging I have tried to pull together because I am trying to not just post the obvious SRT-4 or fudge the lines by posting only Conquests (which are really Mitsubishis anyway). In my search for ground scraping Dodge Omnis and Daytonas I stumbled upon this SRT-4 swapped Chrysler Town and Country that is completely stock inside and out other than the drive train.

Ass, Ass, Ass, Ass

There is a fair chance a lot of you have only seen this Supra from the rear. Even though it is an older build my first and only exposure to it for the longest time was that one lone picture of its ass. Arguably the car looks best from the rear, but the rest of it isn't all that bad either especially when you take into account the wide body isn't an off the shelf kit and the twin turbo 2uzfe motor has been heavily worked over.

Winter Wednesdays: Proof

A couple weeks ago a picture of Alex's Lexus SC at Blue Mountain made it's way to the fan page and two things about said picture were quickly disputed. One, that his car is Lexus SC (and not a Toyota Soarer) and two the fact that he does indeed daily drive it like it as it appeared in the photo. I'm not even sure why the first item is up for dispute, Alex owns the car so if he says it is a Lexus SC400 then it is a Lexus SC400, and for proof of the other disputed item he sent in some more photos.

Theme Tuesdays: VW Harlequin’s Part II

In trying to keep some variety in the Theme Tuesdays (and posts in general) I decided to keep the import and American Theme Tuesdays on the hard drive this week and do something else. Originally the plan was to finalize the Type A Theme Tuesday but after stumbling across the first Harlequin in today's post that was put on the back burner. I never expected this theme to make it to a second round but I'm glad it did.

Featured Ride: Taylor’d Customs 57 Chevy 3200

If this truck could talk prior to becoming part of the Taylor'd Customs fleet it would have told the same stories any other 54 year old truck would. Tales of journeys to and from work or the farm, first dates, and perhaps a trip to a hospital for a child birth (or two) are nothing out of the ordinary of a truck this vintage. Dragging frame from from Ajax Ontario to Ohio though? That is a little less typical and a welcome turn of the page in the history of this awesome 57 Chevy 3200.

WTF Friday: Double Trouble

When I was eight or nine my dad came home and gave me a drag racing book with the ambitious hope it would stop me from chanting "I'm bored" while he was watching football. The book was filled with equal parts photos and text so it actually did the job for some time.

Event Coverage: The 2013 Canadian International Autoshow: Pt. 1

The Canadian International Autoshow  celebrates 40 years of operation this year which makes me wonder how many I've attended throughout the years. Though the number is likely  less than half I can remember as a child, attending the show with my dad, running from car to car for a  chance go get in the drivers seat and pretend to drive.

Sam H’s take on the max e30 meet

A few weeks ago I promised to post Sam's shots of the Maxbimmer Autumn e30 meet. Then I got sidetracked with some other posts today I make good on my promise and liberate these photos from my stanceiseverything@gmail inbox. Enjoy.

Beebop & Rocksteady, The Kustom Kings

Twice in the past month I've found myself at the Ajax Canadian Tire Cruise In checking out some of the local vehicles. That's where...

WTF Friday: I guess that works?

When I was deciding what to post for Friday I considered the obvious, BBS going bankrupt for a second time, but decided I didn't really want to open up the can of worms discussion on whether or not it replicas lead to the current financial situation of a company we love so much. So, I decided to post something I found on There I fixed it instead that is mind boggling that it even works. Maybe next time you get a flat on a road trip you can try this method before getting the spare out of the trunk, then again maybe not.
