WTF Friday: Yugo/ Integrale

So once again I had a completely different WTF Friday started then came across something that sent that original post straight to the back burner because of this crazy creation. Some unique minded individual has took it upon themselves to combine the best(?) parts of two cars that I have never seen in person before, a Yugo 45, and a Lancia Delta Integrale, into one attractive and capable little track monster.

Theme Tuesdays: Morris Minors

My apologies to some of you for today's Theme Tuesday as it's a little random and outside of the box. However I think a large part of my audience visits because the site is a little more general automotive focused than your typical stance blog, and a lot more stance focused than your typical automotive blog. Or at least that's the excuse I am using to explain the fact that I go from posting e46s to classics, to IS300s, to today's topic car Morris Minors without skipping a beat.

A Visit To: Legendary Motorcar Company

Tucked away in the town of Milton Ontario is a place that every GTA based car enthusiast should make a point to visit, the Legendary Motorcar Company headquarters. I feel ashamed to admit that this facility is only 40 minutes from my house and it's taken me this long to go check it out. For some reason I had always assumed it was a private, but after doing some research online I learned it was open to the public so I made arrangements to check out both the shop and the showroom.

WTF Friday: So you like burnouts?

The first video I in today's post I saw Monday and thought to myself damn that was pretty awesome wonder why it took someone so long to do it. Then, a few days later my friend Marc sent me the second video which was more surprisingly more ridiculous than the first. I am a big fan of vehicle on vehicle burnouts, environmentalists and the local authorities might not be but I think I have made enemies out of them long ago.

WTF Friday: What the heck is a Wartburg?

Saw this in the 'Post Insane or Unique Engine Swaps' thread over on VW Vortex and it had me a little confused. I've never seen, or heard of, a Wartburg before. However after checking out Wiki it sort of makes sense as they were a car of East German manufacture that never made it's way to Canada. Their 'claim to fame' was the fact that the motors only had 7 moving parts (three pistons, three connecting rods and a crankshaft).

Readers Rides: Facebook fans Part 4

The Facebook fan page just surpassed another milestone, 2000 fans, and to celebrate I've decided to do one more readers rides for 2010. As the fan page grows so does the variety of cars posted in the fan photos gallery. Seeing variety is great because it means that I can continue to post all sorts of cars here without worry of losing the collective interests to to speak. Here's the latest from the fan page.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 6

It's time to get to the outside of SEMA, finally! While the entire SEMA show was impressive I would have to say the outside had the most modified cars per square foot. However it was also hot, very hot compared to Ontario and walking around with a laptop in my bag wasn't helping so I did it in stages between the halls. Here's part 1 from the outside.

Event Coverage: SEMA Car Crazy Showcase

Outside of the Las Vegas convention center SEMA was held at Meguairs's put on a little something they called the Car Crazy Showcase . It was a collection of mostly muscle, classic, and hot rodded vehicles and was really quite interesting. I spent a lot of time in this area and this batch of coverage contains most of the shots from there. Thinking back I know there are a few I missed so those will show up in the rest of my outdoor coverage.

Event Coverage: SEMA Part 1

The first day at SEMA was intense, the show basically blew me away in every regard. It's larger than I could have imagined. If you think you have anyway of getting out to one of these do what you can to make it happen, it's a car enthusiasts paradise. Each hall is massive and the parking lot out front of the show is the size of a large car show never mind the multiple halls that actually make up the event. Today's coverage is a small lot that was behind the Center Hall that was all Source Media Interlink feature cars.

Theme Tuesdays: Untraditional Low

The lowrider style Auburn Speedster I posted last Friday got me thinking that people will lower basically anything and everything and I should do a Theme Tuesday dedicated to those who like to think outside of the box. I had a few of these vehicles saved already but after doing a lot more web mining I came up with a pretty interesting collection of photos. Enjoy.
