I can honestly say this isn’t a swap I ever expected to come across. While I’ve seen a handful of Japanese power plants in American cars (and vice versa) I never expected to see one in a traditionally styled high boy roadster. However Solo from Go with Solo changed that with his blog post yesterday.
He spotted this bright yellow American/Japanese union at the recent Nashville nationals and while incredibly unorthodox the motor actually seems right at home.
A little research tells me the car was built by Nissan employee Jack Taylor in 2008 for Sema, Jack was obviously a fan of classic high boys because motor aside this car looks very traditional.
Pretty unassuming little FordUntil you look inside
I was able to find a little bit more info on the car in a for sale post (from 2008) as well:
1932 Ford Highboy power by a Nissan 300ZX 3.0 DOHC EFI V6 for sale in Tennessee. The Nissan engine develops 240 horsepower. Transmission is a ZX 5 speed manual gearbox. Other features include ZX manifolds, stainless bullet mufflers, Jet-Hot coated pipes and Walker Radiator. Frame is an American Stamping Company ’32 rails, boxed and pinched with custom cross members. Front suspension – custom tubular un-equal length A-arm IFS, polished forged aluminum ZX spindles, hubs, and brake calipers and 240SX steering rack narrowed. Rear suspension – custom tubular 5-link IRS, ZX differential with polished ZX axles, hubs, and brake calipers.
The Body paint is Sikkens single stage custom mix “yellow submarine”, Downs ’32 Ford Roadster Body, Rootlieb three-piece hood, custom hinge assembly, Custom polished aluminum grill, MG-B MG Midget windshield posts, frame, and glass. Interior is a custom bench design with gray leather and wool carpet.
American Racing Torq-Thrusts – 17 inch x 7 inch up front and 20 inch x 10 inch on the rear. B F Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2, 195/40/17 front and 295/45/20 rear.
I’m curious about how this car sounds and whether hearing it pull up would be a good indicator of what’s going on under the hood.
Site Updates
Tomorrow afternoon I fly off to Cuba so I will be unfortunately missing what might be one of the biggest shows of the year, Import Expo. However enjoying some R&R in Cuba so I am sure I will quickly forget about it.
I’ve been pretty lately with this site, work, and working on a new BMX edit, that a week of hanging out and doing nothing in the sun with an adult beverage in my hand seems like an awesome time.
There will still be posts next week just not as many as usual. I have them written so if all goes to plan new content should be up Monday, Tuesday, and Friday of next week.
Already got a couple photo shoots in the works for when I get back too…
I am not sure if I’ll make it out to T.A.S.R. this year as it’s the day after Importfest and who knows what I will be getting up to that night but if I don’t go I should be able to find someone who can help out with coverage.
Hopefully I get to see some of those crazy Cuban cars when I am gone…
Here’s the follow up to yesterdays coverage including all of the track shots. The venue switch brought out a number of cars and one of the cars that had the biggest hype around it was the Nextmod/APH Evo which made it’s debut on Sunday.
On the drift side of track events the cars were run in the same challenging configuration as DMCC which made for a pretty eventful top 16. The speed people carried into the first turn varied quite a bit which made the tandems pretty interesting.
As always I wandered around the pics for awhile, snapped some drift shots, and tried my hand at more panning shots.
Paddock/Pits
People were pretty busy in the pits at Mosport, mostly trying to figure out ways to keep their cars from over heating.
Cars ready to go out on the track, not sure what class this is howeverSasha Anis was out with his Castrol Edge sponsored Hyundai GenesisI never actually saw Pete run his hatch but he was out in another teal onePat Cyr had his street car out, I think he ran practice while I was sleepingAmanda Carlton also brought her car out, but I didn't catch her driving eitherRounding out the people I didn't see run was Mr. FiddyHood less ChrisLooks like Cody picked up a few sponsors since the last CSCSGot a little love tap in the top 8, fixed it with ziptiesLooks like Chris is no longer the only competing e30
Time attack
A lot of people like the course at Mosport and it showed because they had a lot of cars to get run in a relatively short amount of time.

The Evo
Nextmod and Advance Powerhouse decided to debut their new track car at CSCS round 2 which is a completely gutted and redone Evolution 9 MR. I don’t have the full specs on the car but I heard it dynoed around 500hp and it looked pretty quick out there on the track.
A lot of late nights went into getting this car ready for SundayI read someone online call this a show car... lolWhile it looks good it's definitely made for the trackDomo rockin' the passenger seatI took a lot of panning shots of the car and this was the only one that turned out, more next round
I’m not sure what kind of deal with the devil Chris and the organizers of CSCS made between last season and this in regards to weather but we are now two events deep in the CSCS calendar and the weather has been outstanding.
Actually outstanding isn’t an accurate description of the weather on Sunday, dehydrating might be better, or perhaps sun burn inducing, or maybe even heat stroke administering. You get the idea it was damn hot.
Wrath of the sun aside the CSCS crew managed to pull off another action packed event for sport compact fans in Ontario this time for the first ever time at Mosport in Bomanville. Having this event East of Toronto brought out a lot of people who don’t normally make it to CSCS which was great because new faces are always welcome.
Domestics
The lack of a drag strip at Mosport limited some of the more serious track equipped domestics but the addition of a mobile dyno brought out a couple different ones.
I was going to join the 905 Rides / Division R cruise up to CSCS but having ridden all day before sleep seemed like a better optionThe large URL sticker from the Stance Is Everything store is in this shot three times, too sick. This car must be up near Bomanville because the only time I seem to see it is when I am east of the cityFairly sure this guy just came out to use the dyno, that could have been another Camarao too thoughThe airbrushing on the side of this Cavalier show car was pretty awesomeIn addition to having that super charger under the hood it had two bottles of nitrous in the back which I heard a guy tell his girlfriend was 'nawss'
Subaru
Clean executed SubaruKevin and the now familiar to all of you Varis STIGill leading the Scraped Crusaders into the infield, hover craft status
Honda
A couple of the usual suspects but a few which I have never seen before near the end. Including a very eye pleasing first generation Civic.
Don't think I've come across this build before, very clean, sits nice tooBrad aired out in the grassWhite cars every whereThis s200 was in front of the Option JDM booth which had it's own sound system and a guy rapping (kind of)This generation of Civic is hit or miss for me but this one is most def hitMy favorite Honda of the show had to be this Civic, unbelievably clean for any Civic, stupid clean for it's ageCompletely immaculate underneath the hood as well, as was the interior
Nissan/Infiniti
Too fast motors brought out there promo car, not sure about the new lip additions, in my opinion the one CF lip would look betterGone widePretty sure he probably carried some wheels and tires on the way to the eventI think the last time I saw this car it looked a little different, but all I can remember is that plateThese should come off the lot like thisSuper poking out of the hoodBlack on red looks killer and I would be interested to see it on a different style of wheel
Mazda
Ryan's car reminds me a lot of mine as those DAI's are similar style to the A-techs I hadA couple Toronto Mazda 3 members were out actuallyMike grabbed some Stance Is Everything stickers to complete that back window of his 😀and he recently took home best Mazda and best wheels at a previous eventYou know you are suffering heat stroke when you don't realize there was a model in your picture until you got home and editedThis FC was parked diagonally across from me, clean build
VW/Audi
The Volkswagens and Audis at this rounds CSCS were simply incredible, all of the four door golfs were extremely well executed and the two bagged ones laid out very nice.
This car has always been a favorite of mine as it's very clean and has that no tuck, no gap, no poke fitment going onRotiforms are starting to pop up around here, which is coolThe fitment on the rear of this car is moneyCurious how much trial and error it took to get that perfectWhen I first saw this car there was a crowd around it so I made sure to come back and get a shot with no one around simply gorgeous on those teal Work VS-XX wheelsThe color scheme carried through into the bayI've been in contact with the owner of this car since CSCS and I should have more pics of it in August 😀
Track shots will be coming your way tomorrow, stay tuned sports fans.
Waterfest was this weekend if you didn’t now (I am sure most of you did) and while I have delusions of grandeur that one day I will have budget (and time) to travel to more events across the border it has yet to happen.
So like I did for Wekfest 2011 I decided to live vicariously through other photographers and post my personal favorites of the photos I have seen so far from Waterfest 17.
Things started off a little slow for this one only because I thought there would be more high quality photos up as of last night.
I guess people are still recovering from their respective heat strokes.
I've posted about this car a couple times here, it's dopePerhaps one of my new favorite Mk2 Golfs, love how it's tucking up frontNormally I'm more of a single round found but damn if this doesn't look good
This is just too cleanThis car reminds me of Jujhar’s Golf but with different paint and less poke, fitments dialedAnother car that's just clean as hell... and Ontario based

It’s interesting to consider whether or not Honda knew just how popular the s2000 would become when they released it in 1999. Since it’s birth the the car has been modified 1000 times over with literally no end in sight. It’s really remarkable what people are doing to these cars around the globe and right here in Toronto.
Matt, a long time Honda enthusiast and show veteran, has been working on his s2000 ever since he sold his Civic and the current revision of this constantly changing project is simply stunning.
The ARK N2 Titanium exhaust fitted to this s2000 does a great job of playing hype man to the main attraction because you hear this s2000 before you see it, and once you turn your head to see where that sweet exhaust note is coming from you are rewarded with a virtually flawless example of how a street prepped s2000 should be modified.
The brand new factory direct Work Miester SP1 wheels are the focal point of the exterior but hardly all that is going on. Matt has updated the look of his s2k by converting all relevant exterior pieces to AP2 units, adding a Honda Club Racer lip and side marker lights and completing the list of short but sweet exterior modifications are J’s racing side skirts.
The suspension on this car clearly isn’t stock and the beautiful lack of ground clearance is thanks to HSD coils, these coil overs are complimented by additional suspension modifications that include a trio of Spoon components (cross member, center beam, and differential bars) along with a GTspec front strut bar, and new bushings all around provided by Mugen and Powerflex.
Matt’s s2000 sees lots of different uses, throughout the week it is a daily driver while on the weekend it is either a track car or a show car.
With that mix of uses in mind Matt decided the best way to strike his perfect balance of performance, looks, and reliability was to add components from the ARC (air induction box, spark plug cover, air diversion plate), Spoon (oil Cap, temperature Switch, thermostat), and DC sports (headers) catalogs in addition to a rad from Koyo to help keep things cool wherever the car may find itself.
In the braking department Matt stuck with the rotors the Honda engineers installed from the factory but turned to StopTech for friction material.
Inside Matt kept things clean, to keep track of the cars vitals he has installed Defi BF series gauges, and to keep track of possible rear enders he added a Spoon mirror. Like the outside the center console has been switched out for the AP2 version and an ARC shift knob now sits atop the shifter.
A Sony in car entertainment system consisting of a 12″ Xplode sub and two Xplode GTR 800 amps has been installed to help the tunes keep audible when the top is down and the wind noise is high.
With the summer season at it’s peak Matt is looking to enjoy his new look for as long as the weather allows and if you want to check out this car in person one event you are guaranteed to see it at is Matt’s own charity show Tuners Against Street Racing which takes place August 28th 2011 at Mosport park.

Quite some time ago (May) I facebook/tweeted a picture of a very interesting looking CRX I spotted one early morning in Toronto while dropping Lyndsey off for a run. The feedback on the car was pretty mixed but in person it was clean if nothing else, especially for it’s vintage.
Fast forward a couple months and reader/fan Artin found this CRX up for sale locally on Kijiji, pictures and a quick description from the seller is below:
ONE OF A KIND CRX!!!
-Custom body kit
-Metallic custom paint job
-1.6L VTEC engine
-Cross drillled rotors all around
-MOMO steering wheel and pedals
-Dual performance exhaust
-Integra headlights
-Supra tail lights
-Sunroof
-Alarm
Definitely a rare kit that borrows parts from a few different placesWeird the car looks the same amount of dirty as I saw it lastLooks like maybe it's been sittinf for a bit though
The description is pretty vauge however because it doesn’t at all metion the maker of the kit which was Vitesse or that it was actually made by a now defunct local company called Gulf Coast Motorsports.
There is a chance howevr that the owner bought it second hand and didn’t know any of this but I find that a little hard to believe only because based on google results it doesn’t really seem like the kit was increidbly popular either for the CRX pictured above or the Civic coupe which is pictured below.
Jalopnik did do a little piece on the kits though and that is where these photos come from:
Without a roof the car looks a little weird(er) IMOMuch prefer the crx versionThe rear just seems so bulbous on the cabBut much more refined here.
In the end I suppose a company built around a car that doesn’t really hold up all that well in Canada isn’t the best of ideas. The molds for the kit were presumably sold or traded in around 2007 and that was that.
Just another random kit to come and go now…
Site Updates
Another fairly busy weekend but that’s alright as I am going on vacation next weekend so I might as well earn it. Tonight I will be in Milton for their annual downtown Street show and Sunday I will be at Mosport for:
I might roll up with the Division R / Nine-O-Five Rides guys and I will have t shirts on me as well as be getting a restock in stickers from Seche Media.
Flashback Friday
I will be posting a feature on an s2000 this Monday which had me thinking about the s2000 below that I have not see since these photos. Anyone know where this car ended up?
If the car is gone surely the wheels are on something around here now
This was the first one of these events I had been to in 2011, and the first I had been to in quite some time where the forecast was great the entire day.
The turnout was incredible and the cars were awesome as always, if you live in the area and like cars there really is no excuse why you shouldn’t check one of these out. Also the 50/50 draws are getting pretty high so you could leave the event richer than when you arrived, we didn’t though.
Bikes
First time I have noticed bikes at these meets, guess it’s my growing two wheel obsession.
Couple bikes rolled up, I liked the black one quite a bitDucati's look much much better black in my opinion
Imports
Not JDM though…
Do not have to do a thing to a car like thisI took a picture of this Mini while waiting for the crowd to thin around the GTO then forgot to take a picture of the GTO, failIf you own one of these let's go for a ride, thanks in advance
Star Cars
It occurred to me the other day that its entirely possible for younger car enthusiasts to have never seen an original episode of the Dukes of Hazzard or Starsky and Hutch. Weird. On a somewhat related thought are there any K.I.T.T. replicas in Ontario?

Gassers and Customs
I’m always pretty excited to see a gassers, customs and lead sleds pull up because they are always oozing so much style.
New build or resto what do you think?I didn't get a shot of it but the header on the drivers side actually burnt the paint up, which actually made it even coolerI always love a well done flat black paint job without tiger strippingLead kings car, beautiful machine

A car with a story to tell
I found this Bel Air incredibly interesting because it was obvious that at some point in its life somebody really took care of it and did a lot of modifications to the car, then that care suddenly stopped and the car has become less than half of what it once was.
I never saw the owner to ask what happened but that is probably a good thing because I’m not sure how I would phrase the question without it being offensive, it’s just weird to see a car in this shape still driving normally they only start to look like this after years of sitting in a driveway.
I’m sure this car has a story and one day I would love to hear it.
Even though it's rough now it's easy to see that a lot of this is customMaybe the text on the back is a hint at what happened
The Car of my dreams?
My girlfriend and I often chat about what type of car I will build when the time is right and I can devote a lot of money into something I plan to keep for a long time. I’m pretty much dead set on owning a classic simply because I have always wanted one and while I love Impalas she is pretty partial to Chevelles and considering the amount of money the project will probably cost I am willing to make a compromise on model of car.
That being said this Chevelle is perhaps the closest I have seen to what I picture building in my head. It’s low, it tucks, has huge tires, a heavenly exhaust note and an epic single solid color paint job.
I stood fixated in this position for about 5, maybe 10, minutesVery spartan engine bay, looks like you could climb in there with it to work on the motorIf you can't understand why I love this car you might now know me 🙂
It’s always been true that the right accessories, especially wheels, make or break the over all look of a vehicle and now more than ever people are focusing on the quality of their wheels in addition to the look, diameter, width, and offset.
This increased desire for a quality product has created a market that can sustain several made to order custom wheel manufacturers. The latest of this new breed of wheel manufacturer is Luxury Abstract who is poised to make a huge impact in luxury aftermarket accessories for 2011.
A New York based company Luxury Abstract is focused on becoming an industry leader in it’s field and thanks to their Canadian representative Aidan Borges I was able to correspond with the product designer and founder Agim Jones via email to get the low down on this new brand.
Are your wheels completely customizable when it comes to barrel size, face size, bolt pattern, width, and offset?
Yes, all Luxury Abstract wheels can be ordered in 18-22″ and in widths of 7-15″ (reverse) flat lips are available on all models while step lips are available in 19-21″.
Our wheels can be made in just about any pcd as well as offset and we work with the customer to determine the biggest lip size they can achieve while getting just enough brake clearance.
The Luxury Abstract Admiror with the special edition diamond stitch engraved faceThis Admiror is a 3pc forged wheel available in 18"-22" in widths from 7"-15
Are all of your wheels going to be in limited runs or do you intend to have a few mass produced models?
All of our wheels will be made to order and each design will be available for a limited time before they are discontinued.
We will also have short run variations of specific models, and these short run variations will be more “love it or hate it” type of style.
If you hate a certain wheel initially but eventually change your mind, it may no longer be available. This is our way of rewarding enthusiasts who want something unique and were not scared to take the risk on it.
In the future, these wheels may become sought after and considered “cult classic’s” which is what we are aiming for.
The engraving is limited to 12 sets world wideThe wheels come in packaging unlike any other on the market
What manufacturing process do you use on your wheels, and what finishes are available?
Our wheels are three piece forged t-6061 aircraft grade aluminum which is lighter and stronger than typical cast wheels.
Each wheel face starts off as a rod of aluminum and then it is hit with millions of pounds of pressure to make it into a round disk.
This process pushes the crystal structure of the metal so compact and tight that it becomes much stronger than other manufacturing processes.
The faces, bolts, center caps, inner barrels, and lips can be painted, polished, machined, powder coated or chromed.
We will offer a few suggestions per wheel to make it easier on the buyer but if they have a recommendation, we can do it.
We use only the finest paints and can color match any factory color.

What brands would you consider Luxury Abstract comparable to?
True luxury is not comparable since it is unique in its own way. It doesn’t look to directly copy what anyone else is doing.
Even though the prices and engine sizes may be be comparable between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini, you would never confuse one for the other since they both do their own thing in terms of styling.
That is the concept we have chosen to follow.
It is not our focus to compete directly with another brand or react to what another company does. Every move we make must make sense to our own identity. In doing so, we stay true to what we are about. By not jumping on certain trends, we may hurt ourselves in the short term but strengthen our following for the long term.
The presentation of our products, brand concept, culture, marketing, styling, patent pending engraving, products we offer other than wheels, particular scene we cater to (vip style/high end luxury), and the fact we only offer forged wheels means you can’t look at a single company and say we are copying their business model.
We highly respect those companies who have made it past a year as it is a really tough industry.
The Luxury Abstract ChaosThe pattern you see in the middle is embossed, inspired by New York City architecture
What is the price point of Luxury Abstract Wheels
A set of 18’s in silver finish will run around about $1100 per wheel, 19s $1200, 20’s $1300, 21’s $1400, 22’s $1500 per. The options chosen for finish and engraving will also effect the final price.
For a three piece forged wheel, some consider that under priced but we are enthusiasts who want to get the brand out there.
Limited edition runs as well as some of the thicker faced wheels we offer, are higher in price due to the added shop time and costs of materials used.
A closer look at the ChaosA preview of the Luxury Abstract Stella-x
I’ve noticed a lot of the designs have etching and styling cues not commonly applied to wheels, where did you draw inspiration from for these touches?
Thanks.
My love for artwork and luxury were the concept behind the brand. Living in NYC, I am fortunate to have both all around me. Just roaming the streets of Manhattan gives me a ton of inspiration and ideas. From architecture to fashion, concepts of my designs come from the least likely sources. Sometimes, its a combination of a few ideas lumped together and tweaked a dozen times.
Engraving is something you would find on high end, personalized jewelry, wood furniture and watches. It is a detail that gives a refined look and commonly found in luxury products. In the VIP car scene, anything found on a super high end car will be embraced in the style.
Quilted stitched seats or “Diamond stitch” is extremely popular but that is not the sole reason for using that pattern as one of our trademarks. The quilted pattern, has been around luxury for centuries.
You can find it on statues, gates, luggage, fashion and in high end car interiors such as Bentley. If you really pay attention, the pattern is everywhere from your shoe laces to the support beam in the building.
The results of Agim's inspirationThe devil's in the details
With the amount of replica wheel manufacturers around today are you at all worried about others replicating your product?
With the engraving and details in our products, you should be able to tell an impostor from the real. Our wheels require longer shop time and on certain models, a thicker face. Both cost more money to create than a typical wheel.
A replica company will not go through all the trouble of getting all the details correct and would use inferior materials (as well as finishes) which can potentially put the buyer in danger if a wheel were to fail on them.
At the end of the day, if you are replicated, you are putting out something attractive enough to be copied. Although it would be horrible to have Luxury Abstract products replicated, I look forward to working hard to achieve that type of success to have people consider doing so.
It is a shame to the originators who spend the time and money to design and test their products. We do not support companies who are notorious for creating replicas.
One way to protect yourself would be in court. To do so, you need get patents on unique concepts or designs which we are in the process of doing with our quilted engraving on our wheels.
Luxury Abstract.Soon this logo will be synonymous with superb quality
I’ve noticed Luxury Abstract is planning to expand past just wheels, what other products can we expect down the line?
We look to create parts that accentuate the look of our wheels. You can have the nicest shoes on the rack but if you don’t have the outfit to match, they just won’t look good.
You can expect exterior parts such as leather stitched door pillars, license plate frames as well as interior pieces, done in high quality stitching which exceeds OEM standards.
We offer real leather neck pads matched to any color and material leather and should be releasing a multiple lines of interior products which go with the theme of a particular wheel. Our upholstery guy Ben is a true artisan.
He’s been teaching interior classes for over a decade and has the straightest stitches that I ever seen. Offering the highest quality is what you can expect from an authentic Luxury Abstract item.
Down the road, we will offer body kits, custom fenders, grills, etc. for different luxury makes and models.
Diamond stiched head rests match the engraving on the Admiror wheelWhich of course again match the pillar covers
For more information on Luxury Abstract where should we go?
When it comes to low Subaru’s I feel that Impreza (wrx/sti) steal the spotlight quite a bit, which isn’t really a bad thing because a lot of them are well done, however most of Subaru’s models are capable of looking great with a drop and the right set of wheels ( actually plenty look good lifted with meaty tires as well but that would be for a different themed site).
I’ve had a couple of these Legacys kicking around for awhile and last night I decided to gather a few more so that I could post them all up at once.

2011 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Toronto Honda Indy and thanks to my friend Steve I got to check out the anniversary festivities on Saturday.
This was the day before the big show but that didn’t mean there wasn’t a lot taking place on and off the track for us to check out.
Canadian Touring Car Championship cars were all over the place, along with Ferrari Challenge cars, and Izod Indy light cars. Not to mention the booths, tents, and displays from event sponsors.
I also ran into friends (both automotive friends and BMX friends) and took home a lot of free stuff handed out by the various promotional women working the event.
Good times.
Track shots…
… well not quite track shots because we didn’t have corner or pit passes this year (next year I am going to apply for a media pass). Last time I went to the Indy it was a little easier to get track shots without a pass but this year it required shooting through two fences or scaling a grand stand full of Budweiser fueled soon to be sun stroke riddled fans.
I did what I could though.
Izod Indy light car getting towed off the course after their runs for the dayIf you like Dr. Pepper check out the Toronto Indy, they hand it out about every five stepsWhat you don't know about this photo is that I am standing on a trash canThe number #56 car broke first lap and was stuck there for as long as we stuck aroundThe amount of money I saw in wheels and tires during the whole weekend was insaneCanadian Tire Nascar series car waiting for their turn on the track
Ferrari Challenge Cars
I will admit I am getting a little numb to street trim Ferraris because I see them fairly often in the area I work parked on the street in front of boutique stores or stuck in traffic.
However at the Indy I was a little more receptive of them because the challenge cars are quite frankly awesome and actually get driven and the street cars at the show are typically well done and presumably owned by real enthusiasts.
Nice looking OZ wheels, cars not bad eitherThis car looks much more attractive than any parked in Yorkdale could ever hope to lookWhy tuck tire? Because race car.Love the battle scars hidden by a bit of duct tapeThis guy working away while someone supervises, two people watch from a comfy couch and a goof takes photos
Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship
While I don’t watch a lot of racing by any means outside of rally racing touring car racing has always been my favorite kind to watch because the cars remain recognizable to what you would see on the street.
Unfortunately we didn’t see any of these cars on the track while we were there but I did catch a few getting ready for the race later.
Local BMW tuning shop RMP had their cars outRocco and the crew at RMP are behind some of the faster BMWs in the area8 Legs Racing is another familiar name from the maxbimmer.com forumsRock Star TC on STD suspensionOne of a couple Fast Wheels sponsored PontiacsI thought I was going to miss getting shots of this Subaru but luckily it stopped right in front of usNow I'm wishing we stuck around to see these run...I caught a glimpse of this mini out of the corner of my eye so we followed it until I was able to snap some photos
Midway and other attractions
As I mentioned in the intro there is a lot of different things you can to get up to at the Toronto Indy event outside of just watching cars rip around the track.

BMX
I’ll end this coverage with shots of friends of mine riding kids bikes for Jagger Co. It’s been awhile since I’ve shot any BMX so I was pretty happy to have the opportunity.
More car shows need BMX demos.

After the Indy we came home for a bit, relaxed, had a bbq, then headed over to a Street Classics Cruise In with an incredible turnout. Photos from that should be up Thursday.
