A couple weeks ago, in the “Rolling Shots Part 2Theme Tuesday I made mention of the fact I was working on an all rig shot themed post.

After searching a few forums I have come up with the following collection of photos. You will probably notice that many share the same watermark and that’s because those who take rig shots well take them often.

Rig shots are an art that I do not see myself mastering any time soon so big, big props to all of the photographers as these are awesome shots.

Still have love for the GC chassis

City lights

Wonder if this was taken on a beach?

Shout out to those brave enough to rock CF lips

A little game of cat and mouse

A lot of Subarus today, I know

Clean lookin e46 enjoying a quiet road

Nice lookin ti

I'll take both

Makes me miss my e30

Mmm more e46 love

Man when was the last time I posted a Viper?

Not often you see a straight on rig shot

Ste takes great rig shots

One of the only guys I know doing drift rig shots.

Wow this car is clean

M3.

This is slammed.

LOL

Expect this to be a reoccurring theme.

Here is the third and final set of coverage from the August 22nd CSCS at Cayuga Motorsports park. Today is nothing but drifting so if you like your cars sideways this is for you.

I was able to improve quite a bit over the drifting shots I took at last years event so I am really looking forward to shooting some more at DMCC and the next round of CSCS.

Drift Competition

The competition starting with a field of about 16 and was whittled down to top eight, top four, and then a final winner. Anytime a round was too close to call they ran that set again which made for a lot of exciting action.

Drift Possee was on hand to judge and hang out

Notice how the smoke is coming from the middle of the car and not the tires?

That was his clutch giving it's last stand

My friend Chris De la Cruz was out sliding his m50e30

Initiating

He was also running a bunch of my stickers

Thanks man

Pat Cyr says Marin is a guy to watch out for this year

He's already rolled one car, but ain't scared

Marin plays a little follow the leader

He held his own but didn't make it to the final 4

John Fiddy knows how to slide his Skyline

He also knows how to send grass flying

As does Chris St John

The next two pictures are practically the same

Little more angle here

Can't remember who this was but he was photogenic

Kickin' up some smoke at the farther turn in the course

My GF nailed this panning shot

Some tandem sliding

As the track tried the cars started making a lot more smoke

Demo

After the competition all of the competitors got a chance to have some fun.

The guys from Union Auto club know how to cut loose

Cody Loughhead (I think) doing something incredible

Chris came out and raped the hay bale

I was pulling hay out of my pocket for some time after the show

After killing the hay Chris did some doughnuts

Keep drifting fun

I smelled like rubber the whole ride home

More tire fire

Tire companies must love drifting...

Fiddy is going

Going

Gone

Sorry this one is a little late getting out the door, but look on the bright side you have been that much more productive at work today.

With vinyl wraps becoming more prevalent there are a lot more cars coming out with matte finishes. I’m a fan of the look however it’s done but big props to those who do it flawlessly with paint.

The Matte black Infamous Project 5.0

I really like this finish

The matte finish sort of hides the flares here

Like a boss

This car has undergone some changes which I will have more info on shortly

Have I posted this s2k before? Perhaps, but its worth a second glance

Hot Rod flats

Skunk 2 Civic

8th gens are growing on me

Flawless

This NSX was later painted red but I like it this way better personally

Win, Win, Win

That's some bright ass pink!

Black shoe

All paint, all bad ass

Meanest looking Toureg ever? I think so.

One of my favorite parts of the original Transformers series was when Jazz, or Optimus, would assemble a group of Autobots to go on a mission, more specifically when Optimus would yell ‘Roll out!’ before they would drive off into the sunset ready to whoop up some Decipticons.

What does this have to do with today’s Theme Tuesday?

Nothing really I just felt like sharing, enjoy this second edition of rolling shots for this Tuesday.

Very clean e46

The fitment on this e46 is just as epic as the sunset

Mini on RMs?

The Mark III Supra body style is slept on

Switching gears here is a hammered s10

And a smooth full size Chevy

Quite like the black hard top on white

s2000 and CCWs are almost always a winning combo

This almost made the rig shots Theme Tuesday that is in the works

Foxy Tuner would be into this

Hovercraftin

One crazy ass Ranger

Ha what?

Well that's one use for a quick release

Check back later today for the rest of the Nextmod Anniversary coverage.

Since I added the Facebook ‘like’ button to the post pages last night I figured today would be the perfect time to do another edition of ‘Readers Rides‘ from the facebook fan page.

The fan page has been really active lately so it you are not a fan already take a look as I often post things on there that don’t make it here, and generally try and be just as interactive on there as I am here.

Anyway, enough plugs, let’s check out some of your rides.

Preston Tallhamer’s Del Sol

I saw this car on the fan page, saved the picture and now can’t figure out who it belonged to because its always it’s nice to see a clean Del Sol.

I can't remember whos ride on Facebook this was but it's clean

Andrews 318ti

A work in progress, Andrew has started in the right place with his 318ti by dropping it low

Andrew hails all the way from Sweden

Wills Mazda 3

Will is a member of a few of the same Mazda 3 message boards I am and was sitting on a set of OZ racing rims all winter before the summer came around and he could bring it all together with a drop, rally armor mud flaps, and red accents.

Wills Mazda 3

Phillips Mustang

Phil’s 2003 Cobra sits on 18×9 and 18×11  CCW Classics, and as you all already know I am big fan of CCW rims. I am not adverse to Mustangs either.

CCWs FTW

Nelson’s M3

Currently in Calgary Nelsons home town of St Catherines, isn’t too far from my current location.

Lots of nice cars in both St Catherines and Calgary.

Nice plate Nelson!

Frankie’s widebody 350

Frankie’s got a fairly aggressive widebody kit on his car which has me curious about what the wheel and motor setup is I’ll have to hit him up about that.

Can probably catch this car at Battle at the border

Johnny’s Rx-8

Johnny’s RX8 is sitting 18×10 +24 Mustang rims with 265 40 18 tire, as of right now he has plenty of rubbing but he is working on sorting that out and I should see some side shots soon.

Any guesses on what wheels he is running?

Ian’s VW

Holding it down for the United Kingdom Ian has built a clean dumped VW Golf.

Ian at a vw heretics meet

Jon’s Lupo

More euro flavor, this time Jon comes through with the small hatch we only wish we got here in N/A.

Red and green is a risky combination with Christmas an all but Jon seems to be pulling it off

Michael’s VW Caddy

Rounding out the UK VW crew, Michael’s got a clean VW cab that is sure to make a lot of people on this side of the pond jealous.

Clean as hell, this car could stay as is and I would rock it

Eric’s Probe

Eric from Nine-O-Five rides has one of the cleanest and best fitted Probes I have ever come across, and he runs one of the Stance Is Everything stickers with the girl on the lip of his rear wheel.

I'm a sucker for a good rolling shot

Chester’s Honda

Chester is a local who I have yet to meet in person, but, I follow him on twitter and so should you.

His Civic looks great on these Advans which you normally see on drift cars.

Juice?

Sugar, water, purple!

Big shout out to all my fans new and old! Keep uploading those pics/emailing me and we should have a part 3 in no time.

It’s no secret that I am a big fan of the caliber of cars California produces. I would guess that a good 80% of the cars I see from California I like, and, today’s two featured e36s are no different.

Bryan’s ti and his friend Marc’s coupe are perfect examples of my favorite type of automotive styling.

Clean and slammed, with just enough of a personal touch to make them unique.

Bryan’s Ti

Before getting his e36ti Bryan was just about to leave the BMW scene for good and go back to his first love, Honda’s.

However when a too good to be true craigslist e36 ti popped up nearby Bryan felt compelled to go take a look.

Bryan in the middle of transforming the look of his ride

The green really draws your eye in

Things started to look grim for this cars future when it overheated 3 times on the way to his mechanics for an inspection.

After learning the extent of the work that needed to be done to this car Bryan talked the owner into dropping the price from $1200 to $700 and the rest, as they say, was history.

Tinted fogs and high beams are a great touch to the front end

After getting the pesky maintenance work (brake and cooling system over hauls) out of the way Bryan corrected his ti’s laughable stock stance with Rokkor coil overs which brought his car down so that it’s stance complemented his bright green BBS wheels.

Wheels which he finally settled on after an astonishing 10 sets previous.

Sitting like a king

After the suspension was dropped Bryan ditched the bland e36 factory bumper in favor of  the M3 version, and  in a final effort to drop as many jaws as possible both coming and going Bryan added an LTW spoiler to the rear.

Performance wise Bryan’s hatch has a Dinan short ram intake and n1style exhaust.

Bryan holding it down for the fam out in Cali

Bryan along side a nice looking e30

Another shot with that nice looking e30

Bryan was going for a final look that reflected his unique personality and the pride he takes in his vehicles, judging by the finished product it looks like he succeeded on all counts.

The car looks great and it’s sure not to be one that many people are soon to forget.

Bryan didn’t do this all alone however and would like to thank: Terry Keith at Star Tech Foreign auto repair in Rowland Heights, Ted at Turbo Teds in Costa Mesa, Ayed at H&H Valley Autobody, Joe at Euro Dyne, The West Coast Euro’s crew and his girlfriend Lorena for making this all possible and pushing him to succeed.

Marc’s 328i

Like girls hot cars roll in packs and the other half of today’s e36 double feature showcases what Bryan’s friend Marc has been able accomplish with his e36 coupe in just 7 months.

Obtaining a solid base chassis to work with Marc quickly got to work making the car both look and perform far better than how it came from the factory.

Like many e36 owners Marc knew that BMW hit the mark with the design of the m3 and styled his 328i after it by adding a DDM M3 front bumper, an m3 styled rear diffuser, and finally M3 side skirts and mirrors.

Marc also added DDM Motorsport door moldings, DJ auto euro ellipsoids (with 6000k HIDs), euro side markers, clear fogs and corners and French style fog lights.

Marc's e36 looking clean as hell

De badged rear along with the diffuser and perfect stance looks killer

Once all that wrenching was complete on the outside Marc turned inside replacing his factory headliner with the m3 version, adding carbon fiber trim and last but not least replacing his factory seats with a set dove gray vaders.

Marc's type 1

as they do in the rear

In the performance department Mark added a Dinan front strut brace and cold air intake, m3 x brace, DTM exhaust, and UCC stainless steel brake lines.

Love the slightly raked stance

Once everything else was complete Mark threw the icing on the cake by adding a set of BC Racing BR Type coil overs alongside a set of immaculate looking German imported 17×8.5 (et13) and 17×9.5 (et21) AC Schnitzer type 1 wheels.

AC came out with a timeless design when they released these

Both of these cars look amazing and you won’t see my picking a favorite anytime soon but I do want to thank both of them for sending in the photos and information which allowed me to feature their cars here on Stance Is Everything.
Thanks guys.

One last shot from Marc

The third and final part of the automotive coverage from Scrape By The Lake are the type of cars you would expect at your average car show.

Actually if you think about it this section was the size or a normal car show making Scrape kind of like three car shows in one…

Anyway, quite a few unique rides here as well.

Then I took a closer look and I was ok with it, bet she moves

This past Sunday Stretch & Poke hosted their second event, ‘Hard Parked’ at Humber Bay Park East in Toronto. The turnout for this event was smaller than the last but the cars that did show up were of top notch quality and sometimes a smaller group is better than a larger group when you are hanging out on a Sunday afternoon.

While I was unable to attend Mike Branco, (the Division R member with the Mazda RX-8 on works)  did and was kind enough to give me permission to reproduce his photos here, so without further adieu here is ‘Hard Parked’ through the lens of Mike.

A beautiful shot of the over view of the meet

While not stretching or poking this Acura is damn clean

Stretch & Poke

Big thanks to Mike for the photos and Stretch & Poke for putting on the event, hopefully I will be able to make it to the next one.

CCW is one of a few custom wheel manufacturers who have really been making an impact on the internet lately and it’s no surprise since they make gorgeous looking wheels to essentially.

Their classics and LM20 models are their most popular it would see but I have yet to see a set of wheels from them I didn’t like.

After seeing two set’s on the weekend at Tuners Against Street Racing I figured an appropriately themed Tuesday was in order.

In case you missed this s2000 from T.A.S.R

Super Lite Coupe on ccws

Nathan's ride, which was featured here before kills it

It was hard to keep this one out of my Corrado Theme Tuesday

I’ve got a serious amount of photos from Tuners Against Street Racing to sort through and I knew I wasn’t going to have them edited and posted before I left for work today so for this Monday morning I thought I would share what a local, female, BBS/Euro/Slam lover has been doing with her set of custom 17X9 et 20 and 17X10.5 et 28 pink BBS RS wheels.

The final destination of these wheels was an e46 but they made a few different stops along the way…

Originally these wheels were fit to a bagged, silver, Golf which I’m sure most of you have seen here or on other sites around the web:

At Vagkraft 2009

Dat ass

This is the picture I used for my girls with hot cars Theme Tuesday from awhile back

After the wheels were taken off the GTI they were milled and re drilled to fit BMWs and had a quick stop on this Z4

The pink on these wheels is crazy bright

and after the z4 they ended up at their final home on this e46.

While she’s not entirely done with the stance in the rear she is off to a great start since she has already made a few BMW guys uncomfortable…

That air freshener kills me

Sittin low

The wheel build is here for those who are interested in how they ended up looking how they do today
