Theme Tuesdays: Pictures With Attitude: 7

Not restricting this weeks post to one brand or model like the recent few instead just continuing the 'Pictures with attitude' (should just change it to awesome pictures) theme for another Tuesday. It is almost hard to believe that I have done six of these so far... eventually I am going to have to think of something different to do for the tenth.

Girls Can Two

The second of today's female rides belongs to Heather and was shot by previous featured photographer Nathan Powers. Like Bri's Jetta Heather's Civic is free of all the typical female modification cliches so it stands out without screaming 'I'm a girl'.

Girls Can

It's been awhile since I have (knowingly) posted up a female owned ride so today I plan to post two. The first of which belongs to the better half of a third of everyone's favourite grass roots BC drift team, Drift Union.

WTF Friday: CBS Super Van

Have to thank Ollie again for bringing awesome cars into my life, this time in the form of a Van called the Supervan. What is the CBS Supervan you might ask? Well on paper the CBS Supervan was a promotional vehicle but that doesn't mean it shares any similarities with other promotional vehicles like say the Oscar Meyer Weiner mobile.

K Car…wagon!?

Most people (in North America) remember the K car for the simple fact that they were everywhere for awhile. Personally I knew someone who's dad drove a sky blue one and treated it like gold. He washed it every weekend and stored it in the winter.

2012 Canadian International Auto Show Part: 2

Before I begin part 2 of the coverage from the Canadian International Auto Show let me say I missed a few manufacturers on media day, most notably Mazda, BMW, and Scion. I only ended up with about four hours to shoot and trying to cover the show in that time while still being somewhat social proved a little more difficult than I thought.

Winter Wednesdays: Finnish

With a name like No Pokemon Shit it is clear from the start that this Finnish car 'club' is a little different. The name might be a little odd but from what I can tell No Pokemon Shit means no body kits, no wings, no gimmicks. Just low, clean and to the point.

Theme Tuesdays: E30s Part III – God’s Chariot Edition

For the third e30 Theme Tuesday installment I hooked up with fellow maxbimmer member Steve (Bullet Ride) who in addition to owning an e30 runs a tumblr called God's Chariot that I happen to follow. God's Chariot, in Steve's opinion, just happens to be the e30.

2012 Canadian International Auto Show Part: 1

By now I am sure most of you are aware that the Canadian International Auto Show is currently being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center until February 26th. In addition to your typical auto show fare (concept cars, new models, 2012 updates, and so forth) the show also has a number of specialty rooms showcasing Triumps, Classic cars, and Exotic cars.

Theme Tuesdays: Local-Hero.jp

I've always found the relationship between Japan's automotive scene and the one in North America is pretty interesting. We copy them, they copy us, they copy us copying them, we copy them copying us copying them. It's like a never ending feedback loop that more often than not leads to a lot of cool cars.

Two Days Of Hot Rodding: The E.L.T.A. Big Go and Summer Bash

At the time of writing this I've personally attended three events held by the East London Timing Association (aka The E.L.T.A) with each event...

If a b.o.v. goes off in the forrest does it make a sound?

This is hands down the most attractive and purpose built Forrester I have ever seen, from what I can tell and have been told it has an sti drive line and obviously some suspension mods. I wouldn't mind seeing and learning a bit more about this car so I think I am going to try and get in contact with the guy who took the photos.

WTF Friday: Coming or going?

When I was writing about this weeks totally unexpectedly popular post on the Boso Box I came across quite a few funny looking Boso cars. This one however is really something, the whole Boso thing makes me question what exactly is required to register a car for the streets of Japan...

How did I not know about this?

When it comes to motor swaps I'm not a purist in the slightest. I've said time, and time, again if a motor from another manufacturer is cheaper, faster, and more reliable than the one that came with your car and it's financially feasible to swap in then swap it in. That being said I had absolutely no idea people put small block Chevy motors in Porsche 911s.When I saw this '75 Porsche 911 with a Chevy small block in it on Night-Import I did a double take.
