WTF Friday: Throw Some D’s

I was reading something the other day about Lil Wayne signing a whole pile of irrelevant rappers, singers, and Limp Bizkit(!?) which for whatever reason triggered a memory of the song 'Throw Some D's' by Rich Boy. That ear worm reminded me of this story from a few years ago about an e36 driver that ended up with a wire wheel embedded in his windshield.

A Visit To: Taylor’d Customs

At Performance World 2010 I saw my first Taylor'd Customs build (their unique weather worn bagged Impala) a year later at the same show I saw another one of their builds (the Canadian Hot Rod Featured Montbomb) sitting in the main hall behind a wall of well deserved onlookers who simply couldn't get enough of car. Now just over two years later I've had the pleasure of both featuring their 57 Chevy and checking out the shop where all the magic happens.

Theme Tuesdays: Four On The Floor?

Today's Theme Tuesday originally started off as a follow up to the Tripoding Theme Tuesday from September of 2010 but then progressed into one that had cars with varying amounts of wheels on the ground. Most of these are caused by a stiff suspension, steep angles, speed, or a combination of all three but a couple juice induced.

This.

Following up a post like the one I made on Friday with a car that wasn't straight, to the point, and uber clean just wouldn't be right so here are some new(er) photos of an e30 I first posted April of 2011. Not much has changed since then but honestly nothing really needs to.

Win Two Free Passes To Mega Speed

The first car show of 2012 starts this Friday and thanks again to SIC RYDE I have two free VIP day passes to give away to one lucky Stance Is Everything reader. Mega Speed is Toronto's newest show and if the show it is replacing (Performance World) is any indication it is a show you want to attend as it will have something for every one.

WTF Friday: Fitment By The Numbers

I've been trying to avoid posting about the topic of wheel fitment as strictly a numbers game for some time now as it is a discussion that may touch on a few nerves and one that could leave be sounding a tad hypocritical. However it is an issue I feel needs addressing now more than ever before things degrade into a pissing contest of epic proportions.

Good Ol’ Boy

This '74 Ford Coupe has been kickin' around my hard drive for awhile now because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it in another post or throw it up solo but I recently found a few more pictures of it so solo it is. Wearing what I can only assume to be natural patina and appropriate sign art on the side this Ford looks right at home in the weeds.

Fat and Flush: Silver Sleigh

Enkei should just sponsor the Fat And Flush section of this blog because their RPF-1 wheel is now making it's fourth appearance in this now nine post category. Yes nearly 50% of this entire category is made up of cars on RPF-1 wheels, crazy.

Winter Wednesdays: The Wanderer

Last week I said I would try and dig up something a little more for this weeks Winter Wednesday so today I make good on that promise. The story of how this four door R32 Skyline ended up in the snow begins in Vancouver. The purchased the car (for $600!?) to replace his previous missile (240) and right after acquiring it he packed up to move from Lethbridge Alberta to Nanaimo which was an 18 hour drive.

Event Coverage: Street Classics Weekly Car Show 07/04/09

I went back to the first show I covered for Stance Is Everything, The Street Classics Weekly Cruise and Show and Shine. This time I arrived on time and prepared with the SLR and an empty CF card. The turnout and weather were great and the 50/50 draw was up over $2000, these shows are an excellent way to kill a few hours on a lazy Saturday Night.

2017

Here we are, just shy of 365 days from where we began, at the end of 2017. 2017 marks Stance Is Everything's seventh full...

Stick em up!

My stickers courtesy of Seche Media arrived last week after the first set got abducted by the mail man (if you see a mail truck rocking a stanceiseverything.com sticker that's how it happened) and I'm really excited to finally have these in my hand. This blog is one of the only ideas I have had over the past few years that I have followed through so the fact that I showed enough follow through to get stickers printed and that people want to run them just makes me want to put more and more work into the blog it's a rad feeling. But enough about me sticker vital info inside.

Event Coverage: Sema 2012 – Part 4.

I love American classics and this year I didn't get the chance to check out nearly as many classic cruise nights as I would have liked so SEMA served as a great way for me to catch up on American Iron. There were awesome builds literally as far as the eye could see and I had to constantly remind myself not to spend all of my time (or card space) on the classics.

Winter Wednesdays: On the plus side

Today's Winter Wednesday is a bit different than all of the ones I have posted previous. It contains two cars and both get covered in snow and slush, but only one has it's tires set on the ground, the other is just along for the messy ride. The owner of these cars, Zakinen (from SubaruForester.org), is a pretty lucky guy he drives a dropped Subaru Forrester as a daily and on days he's not working he uses it as a tow rig for his ae86 track car.
