WTF Friday: Bucket List

For something that is comprised of a chassis and motor that are worlds apart this Lamborghini v12 powered Ford Model T actually doesn't look all that alien. Photographer Chris Rowe's caption of the vehicle 'Like Powering an Elise with a Viper engine' is pretty accurate as I suspect both swaps would yield the same smokey results if you were to stomp on the gas pedal.

Featured Ride: Andrew’s 1991 CRX

Imagine for a second what it would be like to live in a place where all aftermarket parts come from abroad and wind up costing up to 20% more than the list price before the shipping service takes their cut. Then imagine that the roads you travel are more often than not in such a state of disrepair that even stock height vehicles have trouble getting from point A to point B without being ravaged by potholes large enough to fit a ZAZ 965.

Winter Wednesdays: idub

The guys from idub.ca dropped a link to their fanpage on the Stance Is Everything fanpage the other week and since I had not been to the site in awhile I took a look around. After a few laps around the forums I loaded up the homepage and found the following pictures of Justin's GTI.

Theme Tuedays: Acura NSX

Sometimes I spend so much time looking for different and obscure cars to do Theme Tuesdays on that I forget about the classics. That is the only somewhat sane justification I can give for taking so long to do a Tuesday post on the Acura NSX.

BBS RS Love From Japan

Many regard Japan as one of a few meccas of automotive culture. Having never been I can't confirm or deny this fact but based on the amount of people flocking to Japan to take pictures of cars I can only assume it is at least partially true. Something I have always found interesting about Japan's automotive scene is the fact that while they often set the trends we follow here they also pick up on a lot of our styling cues and more often than not improve on them.

WTF Friday: Double Down

This Miata is the automotive equivalent of the KFC 'Double Down' sandwich. It takes a sound concept (in this case a v8 Miata) and doubles it up into something that isn't very visually appealing and ultimately extremely hazardous to your health. With two Chevy 350s out in the open air and a frame that looks ready to give in on itself safe this probably isn't. But loud, over the top, and obnoxious it certainly is.

Iron Horse

Certainly going really heavy on the bagged cars this week, not 100% intentional, but how could you not like an e30 as beautiful as this? The recipe for success in this case is a clean late model, Gotti wheels in specs that suit the car to a tee, a dash of stretch, and a healthy serving of low.

Winter Wednesdays: I know a guy

I know a guy who recently acquired a red Miata and is patiently waiting for old man winter to take his leave so he can start putting parts on it. This same guy used to own this Subaru so it should end up being one nice looking car all said and done. The car below doesn't belong to the guy I am talking about but is mighty fine looking all the same.

Guest Blog: Theme Tuesdays: Air Bag Love Pt. 2

One of the most unnecessary arguments in the automotive community, in my opinion, is the static vs air debate. I just don't get it, people should get down how they want to get down and that should be the end of it.

Theme Tuesdays: Cheverolet Corvairs

Last week I said that this weeks Theme Tuesday would be something normal and after getting about half way through a more standard chassis I got a little distracted and well... here is a Chevrolet Corvair Theme Tuesday instead. Dubbed 'unsafe at any speed' due to it's swing arm rear suspension (and it's tendency to be a bit wacky while cornering) the Corvair is a bit of a love/hate car among enthusiasts. Like any 'misfit' vehicle however the Corvair has a dedicated following from Motorsports nuts all the way to the wire and flaked paint crowd.

Theme Tuesdays: Classy Car Models Part 2

Last time I did a 'classy model' Theme Tuesday it went over a lot better than I thought it would. Really I shouldn't have been surprised. Guys like cars, and guys like girls it's natural. But girls also like cars, but they often do not like car show models. What girls do like (generally and in addition to cars) are clothes and style, thus classy car models give the female readers something to enjoy as well. This way everyone wins! Except me, the screening process for this is hell on my eyes 😛

Fat and Flush: Tracer

Just when you thought this category was only turning into a s2000 on Enkei wheels love fest here is a ridiculously good looking STI on 18x9.5 +22 AME Tracer wheels wrapped in 225/40/18 tires. Beautiful at every angle there is literally nothing that should be changed on this car.

Theme Tuesdays: Classic Mercedes

I had a few different ideas in mind for the first Theme Tuesday of 2017 but after starting and stopping a few odd ball themes I...
