Saab 9-2X Aero For Sale

I am a bad friend, I’ve been meaning to post contributing photographer, aspiring comedian, and good friend Keven Soldo’s car for sale for awhile now and kept forgetting.

He is selling his clean imported Saab 9-2x and if you don’t know what this car is, it’s basically a Subaru in Saab skin. Check the bottom of this post to see what it could look like with a drop and some wheels.

I’ve been in this car several times and I can vouch for how clean it is, if you are looking for a new car consider this.

The car as it is now

This is a hard to find 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero 227hp 2.0L 4cyl boxer turbo with 5spd. manual transmission. I purchased this car from the original owner from Florida and imported it myself because they were hard to find locally. It has all the basic features like PW, PL, PM, PS. It also has the winter package which includes heated seats, mirrors, and windshield. This car has zero rust, and was rust proofed before being driven in the winter, and is mechanically solid. The rad cracked on me back at the end of August and I replaced/upgraded it with a Mishimoto aluminum Car has just over 99,000km on it.

Event Coverage: GTA Spring E30 Meet – by Sam H

Contributing photographer/e30 addict, Sam H made it out to another Maxbimmer e30 meet last Saturday after attending a BMW-Trillium auto cross. As always his coverage is great and his rolling shots are off the hook.

While not everyone had their e30s out at this meet (they take a little longer to get out of hibernation than newer cars) there was still a great bunch of cars out.

I hope to make it to the fall meet and hang out with some of the familiar e30/bmw fam.

Looks like Mr Burroughs isn’t the only Mike who’s swapping s52 (or s54 in this case) motors into the e36 chassis.

A local GTA BMW tech, and friend of mine, recently got his up and running and we are already in talks of doing a feature once he has the rest of the car dialed in. Can’t wait.

K.Saun + Worked 905 = Winning Combo

The local JDMrides crowd is no doubt well aware of the type of cars Worked 905 produces, and the amazing pictures that Kevin Saunders shoots, but for those of you from out of town you are in for a treat.

Today’s combination of amazing cars & photography is simply stunning. All of these pictures were taken walking distance from my house and I have seen all of these cars out and about in my local hood as well.

While I have yet to meet the owners I hope to take care of that soon and be able to tell them personally how awesome I think there cars are.

WTF Friday: One year already?

Before I jump into today’s WTF Friday (a fast Saturn) I thought I should mention that a year ago today was when I published the first post on stanceiseverything.com

It’s really exciting that an idea that took losing my job to become reality has come this far in such a short time. Now 13 Featured Rides, 36 covered Events, 49 Theme Tuesdays, and 975 comments later S.I.E. is still here and going strong.

Thanks to everyone reading this, this site/blog wouldn’t be what it is today without you keeping me motivated. Now without further adieu today’s WTF Friday.

Now this might be old now but I just found out about two guys out in Tenesse who built a 427 powered Outlaw style drag car out of a 2006 Saturn ION.

When asked on yellowbullet.com why a Saturn the simply answered

The car was basically given to us, so we figured why not? Might as well.

The factory fire wall is still intact, the doors open, and it’s full street legal. Wild.

Site Updates

Seche Media is producing my newest batch of stickers including a new thicker font url sticker, two tone “I Like Em Dropped” stickers and a bunch of new colors. Can’t wait to get this batch in.

Meanwhile my car goes in for coil-overs and camber arms tomorrow at Advance Power House so I am really looking forward to that.

If the weather holds out I should be able to roll out with my new stance to an e30 meet as well, regardless Saturday is enough excitement to make the weekend fun. 🙂

Event Coverage: Summer Sizzle 2

Last Sunday I attended Summer Sizzle 2 put on by Pur Secretz at Vonn Cycle, and even though the calendar had yet to tick over to ‘Summer’ it was sizzling out.

The show had a pretty big turnout and a lot going on (especially for a free show) so I was there for quite awhile between walking around and shooting the breeze in the shade.

Ruff Ryders’

The Ruff Ryders anthem came out in 1998, which means that it’s 12 years old now. I had no idea people were still reppin’ the crew though.

Rotary work out

Local Toronto rotary driver Mike has had his RX-8 for a little while now and recently decided to raise the RX-8 bar in Toronto by installing a brand new set of 19×8.5 (+38) and 19×10(+36) Work VS-XX rims wrapped in 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 Yokohama S-drive tires.

To keep his car from looking like a 4×4 on his ballin new set of wheels he brought the height down with a set of Tien Flex coilovers.

These two modifications really set off his ride and I can’t imagine how many people see this car and simply drool over these wheels, Mikes got great taste.

Local e30 guru and the organizer of the last GTA e30 meet, Rudy, recently gave his e30 a face lift.

Previously I said Rudy had what was perhaps the cleanest 325is in Toronto but now it is hands down the cleanest oem MTECH II kitted 325is in Toronto.

Dropped on ‘Euroweaves’ Rudy’s new look is a perfect example of how a proper stance can compliment oem accessories perfectly.

E30’s like this make me regret selling mine.

This car is no ‘hard parker’, Rudy drives it on the street, auto cross course and the track.
