WTF Friday: American 107

This car is pretty old, as are the pictures of it, but I stumbled across it for the first time recently so I have to share it. "Back in the day" (late 90s early 2000 it seems) before people were putting LS motors in everything they were putting Chevy small blocks into everything*.

Event Coverage: Importfest 2012 – Part: 2

Picking right back up where we left off here is the second batch of the show day coverage from Importfest. I actually didn't intend to do two separate posts but once I started going through the photos I realized that there was no way I was going to be able to keep things in and around the standard 40-50 photos.

Event Coverage: Importfest 2012 – Part: 1

I've heard people grumbling on message boards that car shows going the way of the dodo due to people showing up to parking lot meets in record numbers but anyone who was at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Saturday knows that is simply not true. Meets will always have their place but shows like Importfest are not going anywhere. Proof of this was that at any given time there was a huge line of people waiting to get inside to check out the show.

Theme Tuesdays: Pictures With Attitude: 8

Sadly no 'women of Importfest' Theme Tuesday this year (model photos will just be rolled into later coverage) but what I do have today is another collection of awesome photos I've found collected here and there. They really don't have anything in common aside from being awesome, but that's ok.

Event Coverage: Importfest – Set Up

Another Importfest has come and gone which means this week is going to be almost completely dominated with coverage from the event. I haven't had a chance to go through all of my photos but on first glance I estimate about three posts worth of material.

WTF Friday: Anyone’s Guess

S10forum members are perhaps the best in the world at finding some of the weirdest vehicles ever and this s10 is no doubt one of the weirdest s10s I have ever seen. Usually I can somewhat tell what the owner was going for but this one is really anyone's guess.

Guest Coverage: Vagkraft 2012

Due to M.O.M. you already know I missed both CSCS and Vagkraft this year but before making the commitment to M.O.M. I reached out to Scott Holmes once again to see if he could snap a few photos. Like always he came through and thus I've got some photos to share from one of the biggest Euro events in the area.

Event Coverage: Meeting Of Mazdas 2012

On Sunday I skipped Vagkraft, Torque Modified, and CSCS to attend the 2012 Meeting of The Mazdas. Last year, despite being basically a zombie from Importfest the day before, I had a good time and liked the vibe of the event so I made a point of being available for 2012.

Theme Tuesdays: Now Who Makes The Music?

I've been meaning to do a post where all of the captions are song lyrics for some time now but I had been putting it off because I kept forgetting which lyrics I wanted to reference soon after the song finished. However using the last set of Importfest tickets I have to give away as motivation I've managed to pull together 14 for today's post.

World Tour

Early last week Buni sent in a few photos of his m3 converted e91 Touring and Iended up posting one of them on the Facebook fan page.  Buni's touring was incredibly well received and is proof that of the nearly universal appeal of a OEM+ styled wagon.

WTF Friday: Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery?

One of the main reasons people choose modify their car is so that it's different than any other on the road, this is especially true when the platform you are working with is fairly common. During the time Stance Is Everything has been active Level One member Dan has built two unique, very low, and fairly well known Honda s2000s.

Chevrolet LS3 Swapped NB Mazda Miata

LS motors in Miatas have become somewhat common place, but Brad Ruiter's is entirely one of a kind. Starting from the tube front end and shaved engine bay and working backwards it's the ultimate blend of function and form all within a Miata.

Theme Tuesdays: Cars with Mouths – 2

When I did the first 'Cars With Mouths' Theme Tuesday in 2011 I never imagined it would be so well received, nor did I think that it would lead to a part two, but a year later here we are. Plenty of military (Warthog/Tigershark) inspired examples in this post as well as a few more creative examples.

WTF Friday: Twin Six Power

Until earlier this morning I had no idea that GMC ever put two of their 351 truck GMC motors back to back and dubbed...
