Dropped

      Patience

When fitting a car well patience is key as it is what can separate a dialed setup from one that is constantly destroying your fenders and tires. Unfortunately it seems that lately a lot of people are rushing into more aggressive setups which can hurt the over all look of a car, especially one that is meant to look clean. That's not the case with this Subaru, the owner carefully planned everything he wanted to do to change his 2010 setup.

      2002 leagues above the sea

Maybe I am just paying more attention now but it seems in the past few years people have been giving BMW 2002s more love here in the GTA, which is great, because it means less are crumbling to dust in the yards of stubborn elderly people or being crushed in wrecking yards. Both of these have been done up in a tasteful fashion that suits the vintage look of the 2002. The second one was mentioned in the Stance Factory post from a few weeks back but the first one may be new to you.

Theme Tuesday: Toyota Soarers part 1

Keeping my current Soarer addiction going one post longer (sorry if you don't like them something different tomorrow) here is a full post dedicated to them. Thanks to reader Magic for sending in a lot of the photos that got this party started. With his help (and a few Club Lexus threads) I have got enough of these cars to span multiple Tuesdays. But before I get ahead of myself lets start with one and see how it goes.

      Sky high

You probably remember the photo shoot I posted not all that long ago of a very, very, clean 240sx that had a Soarer hiding in the shadows. Well the twoLITREmedia facebook page alerted me that Emilio recently finished up a full photo shoot of that car and in typical twoLITRE fashion the photos came out awesome and are worth checking out. Clean car, clean stance, clean photos, anything else you could ask for?

Event Coverage: CSCS Opener 2011: Pt 2

Finally managed to make it to the end of my photo stack from last weekends double header. Including this post I have uploaded over 100 photos in the last four days. As much as I love going to events, hanging out, and documenting sometimes it's hard to find the time to sit down and edit the photos I take. This problem becomes more apparent when it's nice outside & work is kicking my ass. However the show must go on so here are the pictures from the CSCS opener show and shine.

      Event Coverage: S&P May 29th 2011: Part 2

Here is the second batch of photos from the first Stretch & Poke meet of 2011. Over 150 cars turned up to this meet which actually dwarfed a few of the shows that day. I am really glad you guys chose Euros for Part 1 on the fan page because it gave me a chance to edit the rest of the photos I took for todays much more photo intensive post.

Event Coverage: Krown Lakeshore Show & Shine

Before Stretch and Poke I swung by the Krown Lake Shore Charity Show & Shine put on by a friend of mine and fellow Toronto Mazda 3 member. The show was family run and family focused so it had a real positive vibe to it, and it's always great to see automotive enthusiasts getting behind Sick Kids Hospital as they do incredible things (I am living proof).

      Event Coverage: S&P May 29th 2011: Part 1

Yesterday was the first Stretch and Poke! meet of the year and even though leading up to the event the weather forecast looked terrible (to put it nicely) somehow the thunderstorms held out all day and the weather was fantastic which lead to around 150 cars coming out. The meet was my first chance to see a lot of local cars and familiar faces from last year and lots of people have stepped it up for 2011 so I am really looking forward to the rest of the year. Here are some of the Euros from S&P 2010 meet number 1.

      Fat and Flush: Triumphant

Triumph is synonymous with quite a few great things: a song, a Canadian rock brand, a motorcycle manufacturer and finally the most relevant to this blog a British car manufacturer. I've been looking for something to post in the fat and flush category for awhile and this TR6 is the perfect fit. This car looks like it was made to live in corners, both on the racetrack and on winding mountain roads.

      Bus-ted

Not too long after I started this automotive blogging thing I made a few connections with other open minded car enthusiasts like myself. Noah at Hatch Life was one of these enthusiasts (along with Phil, Ant, Logan, and more). He is a car guy first and a Honda enthusiast second. His enthusiasm for all sorts of automobiles of a variety of different styles really knows no bounds (sound familiar?) and though other priorities took him away from blogging for a bit he's back up to his old tricks now and recently posted this bus that might be too good to be true.

      Theme Tuesdays: Opels

I had thought about doing a favorites Theme Tuesday on cars from either the recent Eibach event or Hella Flush 8 in Venice Beach but I realized that you have probably all seen those same cars all weekend so I decided to go in a completely different route. I told Ollie I had this in mind last week and like always he came through with a bunch of awesome pics to go with the ones I had saved. So together we came up with this fairly robust collection of sick Opels (/Vauxhall).

      Emotionally attatched

I saw this Mazda 3 on Work Emotion CR-Kai's a few weeks back and it really reminded me why I was so heavily considering these wheels along with RPF-1s. The look really suits the Mazda 3 and the color these have been powder coated really helps them stand out among the many black and white versions that are floating around.
