The latest from Cyrious productions

I survived the move, the lifting, and the sketchy U-haul, but I still have lots and lots of stuff left to do around the house. In between lifting, unpacking and cleaning I am going to edit my photos from yesterdays Honda-Tech 2010 (should be up this evening) but as much as your employers would like I can't leave you guys without something Monday morning so here is the latest effort from Dan Cyr 10 minutes of awesome drift coverage featuring his brother Pat and the rest of the pack from the DMC.

Event Coverage August 22nd CSCS 2010 Pt 3

Here is the third and final set of coverage from the August 22nd CSCS at Cayuga Motorsports park. Today is nothing but drifting so if you like your cars sideways this is for you. I was able to improve quite a bit over the drifting shots I took at last years event so I am really looking forward to shooting some more at DMCC and the next round of CSCS.

Theme Tuesdays: I like mine with no shine

Sorry this one is a little late getting out the door, but look on the bright side you have been that much more productive at work today. With vinyl wraps becoming more prevalent there are a lot more cars coming out with matte finishes. I'm a fan of the look however it's done but big props to those who do it flawlessly with paint.

Theme Tuesdays: Rolling Shots Part 2

One of my favorite parts of the original Transformers series was when Jazz, or Optimus, would assemble a group of Autobots to go on a mission, more specifically when Optimus would yell 'Roll out!' before they would drive off into the sunset ready to whoop up some Decipticons. What does this have to do with today's Theme Tuesday? Nothing really I just felt like sharing, enjoy this second edition of rolling shots for this Tuesday.

Matt’s Low Matrix

Division R has been making a lot of moves here on Stance Is Everything lately and today brings another member from their crew, Matt, with his dumped Toyota Matrix. Spotting a well done Matrix in the GTA is on par with spotting a unicorn as a lot of them end up in the hands of people who either rice them out or wait for them to die as daily drivers. Thankfully Matt saved his from both fates and has put his 'trix to work skimming the top of speed bumps all over the GTA.

Theme Tuesdays: CCW Wheels

CCW is one of a few custom wheel manufacturers who have really been making an impact on the internet lately and it's no surprise since they make gorgeous looking wheels to essentially. Their classics and LM20 models are their most popular it would see but I have yet to see a set of wheels from them I didn't like. After seeing two set's on the weekend at Tuners Against Street Racing I figured an appropriately themed Tuesday was in order.

Event Coverage: Voice Coil Meltdown 5

This weekend was the 5th Annual Voice Coil Meltdown and Tuner Jam Show put on by Division R Performance and hosted at Selective Sound in Mississauga. Since I had missed this show all four previous years I made a mental note to attend this one even before Sam had invited me out to the event to cover and sponsor it. The show had a great turnout and for the most part the weather cooperated, here are the photos from this year and I hope to make it out again next year.

Event Coverage: GTA Spring E30 Meet – by Sam H

Contributing photographer/e30 addict, Sam H made it out to another Maxbimmer e30 meet last Saturday after attending a BMW-Trillium auto cross. As always his coverage is great and his rolling shots are off the hook. While not everyone had their e30s out at this meet (they take a little longer to get out of hibernation than newer cars) there was still a great bunch of cars out. I hope to make it to the fall meet and hang out with some of the familiar e30/bmw fam.

Event Coverage: Summer Sizzle 2

Last Sunday I attended Summer Sizzle 2 put on by Pur Secretz at Vonn Cycle, and even though the calendar had yet to tick over to 'Summer' it was sizzling out. The show had a pretty big turnout and a lot going on (especially for a free show) so I was there for quite awhile between walking around and shooting the breeze in the shade.

Guest Event Coverage: Stretch and Poke 2010

Yesterday I attended the' Stretch and Poke' meet presented by the Toronto Wrong Fitment Crew and had a blast. This was probably my favorite event so far this season and I will make a point to attend every event they put on because it was just an all around good vibe. Both my girlfriend and I shot a number of photos and she was able to get her's edited before me (big surprise I know) so here is a little taste of the meet through the lens of Elle Marie Photography.

That Silver Ae86

When I posted this clean as hell Ae86 in my event coverage of Gumball 3000 here and on a few local message boards people couldn't get enough of it. Well in what seems to be an ever growing trend the owner stumbled upon the site and linked me to a picture of his car along with some more info.

Theme Tuesdays: Rolling Shots

Rolling shots are really an art, whether meticulously planned or a random snap out of a window they always have a way of bringing out the best parts of a car and minimizing the worst. Maybe that's why Rolling shot appreciation threads can be found on virtually every car forum on the net, here is my homage.
